Hi there! After yesterday’s post about my favourite face products from 2020, today’s post is about my favourite non-face products from 2020 – so that’s hair and body products, but also lip products which I didn’t want to lump together with the creams and serums. Let’s start with hair, then onto lips, then shower products, fragrances and, finally, body lotions and creams.

Herbal Essences did an amazing job with their bourbon and manuka honey products.

Whilst the photo is one of the worst photos I took last year, the actual product is one of the stars of 2020.

I Love… Raspberry & Blackberry Refreshing Body Spritzer
Lucy B.’s fragrances are amazing – this one is no exception.

Hi there! Today’s post is about a hair care combo which I’ve previously used and reviewed – L’Oréal Elvive Triple Resist Reinforcing Shampoo & Conditioner. However, I haven’t used these hair care products in years, so I thought now’s a good time to revisit them.
L’Oréal Elvive Triple Resist Reinforcing Shampoo & Conditioner promise to reinforce hair fibre, to nourish hair from root to tip, and to make hair feel stronger. These products are aimed at people with fragile hair.
I’m satisfied that the shampoo cleanses my hair and scalp properly but also gently. And the conditioner detangles my hair well. I do think that this shampoo and conditioner make my hair feel stronger. And I’ve noticed that I lose a little less hair in the shower when I use these products. I’m still a big fan!
Keep in mind, these products wont’t help with medical issues that cause or result in hair loss. In such cases, it’s always best to seek medical help – please speak with your GP. 💖
L’Oréal Elvive Triple Resist Reinforcing Shampoo & Conditioner have recently been renamed from Triple Resist to Full Resist. Regardless of this, these products are available as 250ml for about £3, and 400ml for £5. I bought the big 400ml bottles on a half price offer.

The Crème Shop Tumeric Face Masks (pack of 5 sheet masks), The Crème Shop Rose Oil Overnight Gel Mask, The Crème Shop Charcoal Overnight Gel Mask, The Crème Shop Collagen Overnight Gel Mask, The Crème Shop Maca Root Face Masks (pack of 5 sheet masks). These were £4.99 each.
Kina Coametics Pure Volcanic Facial Sheet Masks (pack of 10 masks, £7.99), and Nature Love Hyaluronic Face Masks (pack of 5 masks, £4.99).
Global Beauty care Anti-Aging Collagen Face Masks (pack of 5 masks, £4.99), and SpaLife Hydrating Facial Masks with Volcanic Ash (pack of 6 masks, £4.99).
The Crème Shop Resveratrol Face Masks (pack of 5, £4.99), and The Crème Shop Charcoal Face Masks (pack of 5, £4.99).
I managed to get my hands on another L’Oréal Elvive Triple Resist shampoo and conditioner combo (400ml each, 2 for £5), and I picked up L’Oréal’s Fine Flowers Gel-Cream Wash for £1.99 (half price offer).
And last but not least… Herbal Essences Bio Renew Whipped Cocoa Butter shampoo & conditioner (400ml each, 2 for £5), and Zatik Rosehip Black Seed Organic Oil Serum (30ml, £5.99).
This is everything I bought since mid-April. I know I’ve been a bad girl, but I really wanted to treat myself to a few new products when I started my new job. 🙂
Have you tried any of these products? Or would you like to try any of them? What have you bought recently? Feel free to get in touch. And thanks for stopping by!

Hi there! I just started to use L’Oréal’s Triple Resist Reinforcing Shampoo & Conditioner again. I haven’t had these ones in ages – because whenever there’s a half price or BOGOF offer, one of the two products is always out of stock. But I was lucky the other day – so I bought a few L’Oréal shampoos and conditioners for half price.
Now let’s get to these products. The reinforcing shampoo is one of my favourites. It cleanses my scalp and my hair without irritating my skin. I love the shampoo and I’ll buy it again. The conditioner is quite good too. I remember it being thinner and easier to use. But it’s still a very decent product that conditions and detangles my hair well.
I think this shampoo and conditioner combo really helps with certain hair loss issues. It won’t sort out hair loss caused by medical conditions or hormones and the likes. But whenever I use these two products, I notice a huge difference in how much hair I’m losing – from day one. I don’t know how L’Oréal did it, but they’ve done a great job with these products.
I would definitely recommend this shampoo/conditioner combo – regardless of whether your hair needs strengthening or not. L’Oréal’s Triple Resist Reinforcing Shampoo & Conditioner are available as 250ml for £2.99 each, and 400ml for £3.99 each.
