Mad Beauty Disney Princess Sea The Possibilities Watermelon Face Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Mad Beauty Disney Princess Sea The Possibilities Watermelon Face Mask. Just when I thought I had finished all the Mad Beauty masks in my stash, I realised that this face mask, which I bought at Primark, is also from the brand Mad Beauty.

Alrighty, this face mask promises hydrated and glowing skin. You’re supposed to cleanse your face first, then put the mask on and leave it on for about 15 minutes. Then take the mask off and rinse your face so as to remove any residue.

I’m not a fan of sheet masks which need to be rinsed off after use – so this face mask started with an imaginary -5 points. The mask is wrapped around a face-mask shaped plastic thingy. Not great. The mask also looks awful when on. The eyeholes are huge, and the print makes me look like something out of a freak show. What is meant to be Ariel’s hair looks more like raw meat. The eyebrows are about 4cm above my actual eyebrows, one side of the mask has eyelashes, the other one doesn’t. And what is supposed to be the mouth/lips part makes me look like I have a moustache and a double-chin. This really is the kind of mask that would give children nightmares!

About the mask itself – it smelled bad. Really bad. I also didn’t like the tingling and cooling effect. The mask didn’t have an adverse effect on my skin, but it didn’t feel good. And did the mask hydrate my skin or give it a bit of a glow? No. Nothing of the sort.

Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this face mask. And I think I’m done with this brand for good. If you’re interested, Mad Beauty Disney Princess Sea The Possibilities Watermelon Face Mask is available as a single-use face mask. I paid £1 (Primark).

Mad Beauty Toy Story Little Green Men Face Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Mad Beauty Toy Story Little Green Men Face Mask with apple which claims to help promote a radiant and glowing complexion. With this sheet mask, you’re supposed to cleanse your face first, then put the mask on and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Then you’re supposed to give your face a quick rinse to get rid of any mask residue.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I found it to be nothing special. I don’t think it had any effect on my skin, but I’m happy to report that it smelled better than some of the other Mad Beauty masks I tried over the past few months. The mask also didn’t look as grotesque as the other Mad Beauty masks that I used.

However, it still wasn’t a good mask, and I wouldn’t buy it again. I have 1 Mad Beauty mask left to try, and based on the 7 I had so far, I don’t think that I’ll pick up any more masks from this brand any time soon.

If you’re interested, Mad Beauty Toy Story Little Green Men Face Mask is available as a single-use 25ml face mask for £1.50 (sale price).

The Battle Of The Brightening Pearl Sheet Masks – Mad Beauty Disney Mulan Brightening Pearl Face Mask, Mad Beauty Disney Frozen Pearl Face Mask, Primark PS… Brightening Pearl Sheet Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is a product comparison, and it’s between 3 brightening pearl sheet masks – Mad Beauty Disney Mulan Brightening Pearl Face Mask, Mad Beauty Disney Frozen Pearl Face Mask and Primark PS… Brightening Pearl Sheet Mask. Let’s take a closer look!

Mad Beauty Disney Mulan Brightening Pearl Face Mask wasn’t great. I used the mask as instructed – I cleansed my face, put on the mask, left it on for about 20 minutes, then I took it off and rinsed the residue off of my face. The mask had no positive effect, but it irritated the skin on my cheeks – just a bit, and all was well again after an hour. But this isn’t what I want from a mask. I also found the strong sweet floral fragrance rather annoying. Also, this is a printed mask, and it looked grotesque on. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this mask.

Mad Beauty Disney Frozen Pearl Face Mask was carbon-copy of the Mulan mask. The same unpleasant fragrance, the same lack of any visible positive effect on the skin, and the same mild irritation. This mask looked just as grotesque. I regret having bought 8 different Mad Beauty Disney masks. I’ve used 5 now, and none of them impressed me. Fortunately, I bought these when they were half price. Still… there’s much better stuff to be found at Poundland and other bargain stores!

Onto this Primark PS… Brightening Pearl Sheet Mask! This mask was lovely! It felt amazing on, it made my skin feel super soft, it smelled like powder, and the essence didn’t leave a sticky film on my face! Also, this face mask is certified cruelty-free – it carries the Leaping Bunny logo. And priced at 80p, it’s a total steal! Repurchase? Yes!

Based on my experience with these 3 masks, Primark’s PS… Brightening Pearl Sheet Mask is the obvious winner of The Battle Of The Brightening Pearl Sheet Masks. Those 2 Mad Beauty masks were a waste of time and money…

Mad Beauty Disney Aurora True Love’s Kiss Face Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Mad Beauty Disney Aurora True Love’s Kiss Face Mask. This face mask contains niacinamide, pro-vitamin B5, lavender, cucumber and peach extracts, etc. It promises to have a relaxing and calming effect on the skin.

How does it work? Cleanse your face, put on the mask, leave it on for 10 minutes, then wash it off. I prefer leave-on sheet masks, but hey ho…

I’ve been through 6 of the 8 Mad Beauty Disney face masks that I bought, and this is my favourite so far. The mask smells pleasantly of lavender (some of the other masks had a strong chemical smell), and it feels refreshing and certainly relaxing. If it was a leave-on mask, I’d even buy it again!

If you’re interested, Mad Beauty Disney Aurora True Love’s Kiss Face Mask is available as a 25ml single-use face mask for £3 (Superdrug). I paid £1.50 (sale).

Mad Beauty Disney Princess Ariel Jewel Of The Sea Face Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Mad Beauty Princess Ariel Jewel Of The Sea Face Mask. This face mask with cucumber extract and sodium hyaluronate promises refreshing hydration for the skin. Using this mask is easy – cleanse your face first, then put the mask on, leave it on for 20 minutes, then rinse off the residue.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I thought it was just about OK. I would agree that the mask was mildly hydrating, it felt cool whilst on, and I also found that it didn’t smell as bad as the other Mad Beauty masks that I tried before. All in all, I can say that this mask wasn’t a total waste of time, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

If you’re interested, Mad Beauty Princess Ariel Jewel Of The Sea Face Mask is available as a 25ml single-use face mask for £3 (Superdrug). I paid £1.50 (sale).

Mad Beauty Disney Frozen Passion Fruit Face Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Mad Beauty Disney Frozen Passion Fruit Face Mask which promises to help refresh and rejuvenate the skin. The way this mask should be used is after you’ve cleansed your face, then put on the mask, leave it on for 10-12 minutes, then wash it off.

I tried this mask just yesterday, and I think it’s alright. I agree that the mask felt refreshing, but it was nothing special. The mask itself was a printed mask – and it was the most grotesque mask I’ve ever seen. With lips, eyebrows and even eye make-up in bright colours, it looked Silence-Of-The-Lambs-scary. I could hardly look at myself.

I won’t buy this mask again, but if you’re interested, Mad Beauty Disney Frozen Passion Fruit Face Mask is available as a 25ml single-use face mask for £3 (Superdrug). I paid £1.50 (sale).

Mad Beauty Disney Villains Mistress Of All Evil Face Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Mad Beauty Disney Villains Mistress Of All Evil Face Mask which I picked up for half price at Superdrug on Boxing Day.

This face mask contains green tea, niacinamide, pro-vitamin B5, sodium hyaluronate and a number of botanical extracts. It promises to refresh and to revitalise the skin. How do you use the mask? Cleanse your face, put the mask on, leave it on for 10-12 minutes, then wash it off.

I used this mask just yesterday, and whilst I was disappointed that it’s not a leave-on mask, I found it awesome fun. It’s a printed mask, so you’ll be looking like a true villain wearing it! I would also agree that this mask made my skin feel refreshed, but since the essence had to be washed off, the effect was short-lived.

I would recommend this mask based on how fun it looks (as a one-off). But I don’t think that, apart from the fun print, the mask is anything special. Mad Beauty Disney Villains Mistress Of All Evil Face Mask is available as a 25ml single-use face mask for £3. I paid £1.50 (post-Christmas half price offer).
