Manhattan Eyemazing Eyeshadow 3

Hi there! Today’s post is about a small eyeshadow compact I’ve found at one of the Poundstores – Manhattan Eyemazing Eyeshadow 3. This is a small compact that contains 4 shimmery eyeshadows – a greyish brown, a bright lilac, an orange-tinted gold, and a red-tinted terracotta.

What I like about these eyeshadows is that they’re very easily blendable, that they last all day without problems, and that they’re easy to remove at the end of the day.

However, I need to mention two negative bits as well. First of all, the eyeshadows are poorly pigmented. I had to use a lot of product just to do the swatches. The other thing that annoys me is the palette design. Sure, it’s nice to look at, but it takes effort and precision to get the right colour (and not a mix of two or more colours) onto an eyeshadow brush. I can manage with the smallest brushes I’ve got, but it shouldn’t be this complicated…

As this compact was ¬£1 only, I won’t complain. And I will definitely continue to use these eyeshadows because they blend very well. Oh, here’s another thing… I have several of these compacts – all different colours. I haven’t used the other ones yet (one new product at a time…), but I’ll let you know if they’re better as soon as I’ve tried them.

Thanks for stopping by! ūüôā

Manhattan Only Button Baby Eyeshadow

Hi there! And look what I found at Poundworld! I picked up this cute eye palette for ¬£1 only. I wasn’t sure what to expect because it was so cheap. But I thought I’d just give it a try. This palette’s name is Manhattan Only Button Baby, and it contains four eyeshadows and a small sponge applicator. Let’s take a closer look!

I’m not a fan of sponge applicators, so I won’t be using this one on my eyes. But I don’t throw sponge applicators out. I always keep them for future nail art projects!

But let’s look at the eyeshadows. The first shade is a gorgeous pearly beige. It’s buttery soft and highly pigmented. Great stuff! The second shade is a bright matte orange. The eyeshadow feels a bit chalky, but it’s really highly pigmented. And this colour really pops!

Shade 3 is matte light brown with greyish undertones. It’s not as pigmented as the other shades, but it’s not bad at all. And the shade is quite pretty. Shade 4 is another matte brown. It’s darker and a bit warmer than shade 3. It’s a really lovely shade.

I think this eyeshadow palette is really good! I didn’t think I could be friends with the orange shade, but I actually like it. In terms of quality, I’m happy with this palette. Fallout isn’t a problem, and the eyeshadows stay put for almost an entire day.

I’m currently using this palette along with what’s left of my Sleek Au Naturel palette – which works out very well because of the obvious neutral theme of both palettes.

I would totally recommend this eye palette for ¬£1! I know Poundworld does a few different shades / types, so I think I’ll go back and have a closer look at the other palettes. If you picked up any of the other Manhattan Only palettes recently, please tell me if you liked them!

Manhattan Multi Effect Eyeshadow 92W Caramel Fudge, Manhattan Intense Effect Eyeshadow 21A Devil Honey

Hi there! This post is about two random eyeshadows which I bought as a set of two in Poundland (could have been Poundworld – I’m not sure). The shimmery brown one is Manhattan Multi Effect Eyeshadow 92W Caramel Fudge, and the sparkly golden one is Manhattan Intense Effect Eyeshadow 21A Devil Honey.

(I know, the swatch photo isn’t my best, but Devil Honey simply wouldn’t show without flash. But you can click on the photo to enlarge it.) In terms of quality I’m very happy with these eyeshadows. They’re easy incredibly silky, they last long, the colours are intense and easily blendable. I love to mix these two with other shades from my Sleek Au Naturel palette because these two would fit right in.

I’ve seen lots of different Manhattan products at the bargain stores recently. If you keep your eyes peeled, you might not only find single items for ¬£1, but also sets of two products for ¬£1.
