Nail Of The Day – Essie Meet Me At Sunset & Stamping With Maniology BM-XL216 (Nail Fail)

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I did last week.

For this mani I painted my nails with Essie Meet Me At Sunset. This is a boring dark orange shade. The formula is strange as it’s see-through even after 3 coats of polish. Not great… 🙄

Initially I didn’t want to make a fuss with my nails. I just wanted to have a plain mani for a few days.

But thanks to the nail polish not being opaque, I thought I’d cover up the mess with the help of a stamping plate – Maniology BM-XL216 – and black polish – Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto.

To make a long story short: It didn’t look good. At all.

So yeah, this was a nail fail. I did wear this mani for 2 days, but I was glad to remove it. I should have known that it would look awful (I had orange plus black nail fails before) but it was after 22:00 already, and I thought stamping was the best option… Anyhoo, this mani is history now, so let’s move on…

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro 370 Wild Orchid & Stamping With Maniology Secret Garden BM 718

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I did.

For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro 370 Wild Orchid (2 coats). This is my favourite nail colour. đź’ś

For the images I used my Maniology Secret Garden BM 718 plate.

The 2 polishes I stamped with are Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto (black) and Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure 819 Coat Of Arms (gold).

I liked this mani a lot – it has purple and black & gold double-stamping which is an all-time favourite look.
