Nail Of The Day – Miss Sporty Lasting Colour 500 & Pop Rocks Scalper

Hi there! Today’s short post is about a rather simple mani I did a few days ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Miss Sport Lasting Colour 500 (2 coats). This is a beautiful shade and a quality polish. It’s a shame that the brand no longer exists.

The glitter top coat I used is Pop Rocks Scalper. This is a red-tinted jelly top coat with silver holographic glitter. I don’t use it much, but it is a cute glitter top coat.

I didn’t love this mani, but it wasn’t much of a surprise as it was a result of not having a single creative thought that day. The mani looked good enough for a few days, and that was OK. But hopefully the next mani will be more original!

Nail Of The Day – Barry M Molten Metal Holographic Moon, Rimmel Lycra Pro 425 My Denim, Miss Sporty Sparkle Touch 888 & Stamping With MoYou London Sci-Fi 07

Hi there! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with Barry M Molten Metal Holographic Moon (2 coats, thumbs, index and middle fingers) and Rimmel Lycra Pro 425 My Denim (2 coats, ring fingers, pinkies).

For the images I used my MoYou London Sci-Fi 07 stamping plate.

The black polish I stamped with is the wonderful Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto.

The glitter top coat on the blue nails is Miss Sporty Sparkle Touch 888. This is a beautiful silver holographic top coat. It looks incredibly dull in the photo, but it’s gorgeous in real life.

Nail Of The Day – Miss Sporty Lasting Colour 470 & Color Club Holiday Splendor

Hi there! Today’s post is a Nail Of The Day post.

For this mani I painted my nails with Miss Sporty Lasting Colour 470 (2 coats). I’m impressed with this cheap polish – the dark green shade is beautiful, the formula is amazing, and I’ve also noticed that the polish dried fairly quickly. 😍

The glitter top coat I used is Color Club Holiday Splendor – it’s holographic silver glitter in a green jelly base. It’s also a Christmas glitter top coat. 🎄

What colour nail polish are you wearing at the moment? Feel free to let me know via the comments. And thanks for reading!

Nail Of The Day – Miss Sporty Clubbing Colours 345 & Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure 40 Midnight Glitz

Hi there! Happy Monday! I hope you had a great start into the new week. 😊 I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today…

For this mani I painted my nails with Miss Sporty Clubbing Colours 345 (2 coats). This is a quick dry polish that actually does dry in no time. Awesome stuff!

The glitter top coat I used is Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure 40 Midnight Glitz. This top coat contains medium sized black hex glitter as well as gold holographic glitter in different shapes and sizes.

I liked this mani, and I will redo it once my nails have grown a bit longer again.

Nail Of The Day – Miss Sporty Lasting Colour 500 & Miss Sporty Sparkle Touch 888

Hi there! I have another Nail Of The Day post for you today. 🙂

For this mani I painted my nails with Miss Sporty Lasting Colour 500 (2 coats). This is a gorgeous purple polish!

The glitter top coat is Miss Sporty Sparkle Touch 888 (1 coat). I like this silver holo top coat. It looks amazing in the sun! 😍

I liked this mani a lot. I wish my camera had been able to capture its purple holographic amazingness better.

I’m very happy with the quality of these polishes. It’s sad Miss Sporty products can no longer be found anywhere.

Miss Sporty Lipliners – 007 Slow, 013 Coconut, 014 Earth

Hi there! Today’s post is about 3 Miss Sporty lipliners that I picked up recently (for £1 each) – the shades are (from top to bottom) 007 Slow, 013 Coconut, and 014 Earth. I haven’t seen Miss Sporty products at Boots or Superdrug for a while. I think it’s safe to say the brand will disappear once and for all as soon as the end-of-line discount stores will have sold their stock.

However, since Poundland (this is where I bought these lipliners) and other brick-and-mortar and online stores are still selling Miss Sporty products, I thought I’d do a quick review in case someone’s wondering whether they’re worth picking up. 😊

I’ve been using these lipliners for a few weeks now, and I think they’re really nice. These lipliners are highly pigmented, they’re soft, and they can even be worn as matte lipsticks! I’ve also noticed they look great with gloss on top! What else? These lipliners stay on. They don’t slip. And I like the colours I picked up because these nude-to-brown shades look great on me (I have pale skin, green eyes and ginger hair).

All in all, I’m happy I bought these lipliners, and I enjoy using them. But I’m equally sad because they’ve been discontinued. If you see these lipliners at your local discount store and wonder whether they’re any good – yes, they are!

Nail Of The Day – Galaxy Nails Feat. Rimmel & Miss Sporty / 31 Day Nail Art Challenge #19 Galaxies

Hi there! Today’s post is the last one for this week, and this means that Nail Week has come to an end.

For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro 430 Black Satin (2 coats).

I used small pieces of a make-up sponge to apply blobs of colourful polish to my nails. I started with white blobs over which I applied the following polishes:

Rimmel Lycra Pro 295 Fancy Fushia (pink),
Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro 370 Wild Orchid (lilac),
Rimmel Rita Ora 860 Bestival Blue (light blue).

The cute glitter top coat I used is Miss Sporty Sparkle Touch 888.

For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel Lycra Pro 431 Stormy Skies (1 coat, middle and index fingers, thumbs) and Rimmel Salon Pro 312 Ultra Violet (2 coats, pinkies, ring fingers).

I used Miss Sporty Sparkle Touch 889 to add a touch of glitter to the purple nails.

Nail Of The Day – Sally Hansen Sugar Coat 400 Sweetie, Miss Sporty Lasting Colour 500 & Stamping With Pueen 109

Hi there! I have a short Nail Of The Day post for you today. 🙂

For this mani I painted my nails with Sally Hansen Sugar Coat 400 Sweetie (pinkies and ring fingers, 3 coats, but 2 coats would have been fine too) and Miss Sporty Lasting Colour 500 (middle and index fingers, thumbs, 2 coats).

For the images I used Pueen‘s 109 plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Make Your Day stamping plate collection) and MoYou London‘s Orchid Chic stamping polish.

I liked this mani very much. I love the colours purple and yellow, so I was happy that this mani worked out. 🙂
