Nail Of The Day – Models Own Sarong Wrap & Stamping With MoYou London Flower Power 08

Hi there! This is another mani I did a few weeks ago…

For this mani I painted my nails with Primark PS… Nail Polish Marshmallow (1 coat). This is a white polish, and I used it as a “primer” to make the yellow polish pop.

The yellow polish is Models Own Sarong Wrap. I applied 2 coats, but if I hadn’t used a white base, I would have needed to paint on 4 coats because the polish is very thin and not very well pigmented.

For the images I used MoYou London‘s Flower Power 08 plate. The black polish I stamped with is Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto.

Nail Of The Day – Models Own Sarong Wrap, NYC Expert Last 205 Boundless Berry, Rimmel 60 Seconds 831 Magic Stardust & Stamping With Pueen 83

Hi there! Happy Monday! I have a Nail Of The Day post for you today. 🙂

For this mani I painted my thumbs, index and middle fingers with NYC Expert Last 205 Boundless Berry (2 coats). The glitter top coat I used is Rimmel 60 Seconds 831 Magic Stardust (1 coat).

I painted my pinkies and ring fingers with 2 coats of white polish and 2 coats of Models Own Sarong Wrap. The yellow Models Own polish is poorly pigmented, and that’s why I needed to start with a white base underneath.

I stamped with Pueen‘s 83 plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Buffet Leisure collection) and Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto.

I liked this mani very much. I’ve done purple and yellow manis before, and I know I’ll be doing more purple and yellow manis in the not too distant future. 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Models Own Sarong Wrap & Stamping With Pueen 83 (Nail Fail)

Hi there! Nail Week is still on, so here’s another mani I did some time ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Primark‘s PS… Snow White nail polish (1 coat). Once the white base had dried, it was time for Models Own Sarong Wrap (2 coats). Sarong Wrap is a low-quality polish. It’s terribly thin, and I don’t think I would have gotten much (or any) joy from it had I not started with a white base.

Anyhoo… I thought that light pink accents would look nice, so I used a small piece of a makeup sponge to apply pink polish to my nails. Well, it didn’t look great, but I didn’t have the time to correct the mistake, so I just left it as it was.

Then I stamped! I used Pueen‘s 83 plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Buffet Leisure collection) and Revlon Top Speed 880 Black Star.

Hi there! Today’s post is about all the stuff I bought for the past couple of weeks. I’m not doing a big intro today. Here’s what I bought.

2 Models Own polishes for ÂŁ1 each,
2 Rimmel polishes for 50p each,
3 white Primark polishes for 90p each.

Good Old Hand Cream for ÂŁ1,
Primark Foundation & Contour Stick for ÂŁ2.50,
Models Own lipstick for ÂŁ1,
Maybelline Gloss for ÂŁ1,
Cuticura hand cream for ÂŁ1.

Patisserie De Bain Sugared Violet Hand & Body Lotion for ÂŁ1,
2 Primark Bubble Masks for 80p each.

Set of 4 nail buffers for ÂŁ1 (only 3 in the photo because 1 of the 4 is already in use),
Beautifully Scrumptious Almond Body Butter for ÂŁ1.

Derma V10 Cocoa and Vanilla Body Butters. These were 80p each.

Then I swung by my local Poundland again and I bought…
2 Models Own polishes for ÂŁ1 each,
2 more Maybelline lipglosses for ÂŁ1 each,
2 Miss Sporty lipliners for 50p each,
4 Manhattan nail polishes for 50p each.

I found an amazing pencil case at B&M Bargains (ÂŁ3.99), and I picked up 2 giant (!) sticker sheets (2 for ÂŁ1).

I also swung by THE WORKS and bought…
2 Narwhal notebooks for ÂŁ2 each,
and a Sloth 2019 Calendar for ÂŁ1.50.

I went to B&M again the other day, and I picked up more stationery.
I bought… a pack of 4 A4 popper wallets (2 different designs) for ÂŁ1.49,

a pack of 3 A6 lined notebooks for ÂŁ1.29,

a super pretty sticky notes set for ÂŁ2.49,

and this sensationally cute A5 Hanazuki notebook for ÂŁ2.49.

I’m very happy with what I bought. I spent ÂŁ44.05 in total for all these goodies! By the way, all these amazing products were bought on the high street! And one more thing, there’s Tokidoki stuff at B&M Bargains – I’ve seen backpacks and pencil cases which would also work as cosmetic bags! I’m tempted…
