Nail Of The Day – The Ultimate Halloween Mani Feat. Revlon, Rimmel, MoYou London & More

Hi there! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this spooky Halloween mani I painted my nails with:
MUA Whitewash (pinkies, index fingers), Revlon Colorstay 090 Sorbet (ring fingers), and Rimmel I  ♥ Lasting Finish 401 Wedge Of Lime (middle fingers, thumbs).

I used Boots No 7 Devils Delight and a small piece of a sponge for the blood effect. The stamping plate I used is MoYou London’s Festive 53 plate. The black polish I stamped with is Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto.

For this mani I simply “recycled” a few old mani ideas from the past few years and put them together. And I liked the result!

Nail Of The Day – MUA White Wash, Rimmel 60 Seconds 622 Boy You’re So Fine, Orly Basket Case & Nails Inc. Bow Street (Nail Fail)

Hi there! Today’s post is about another mani I wanted to do for the A-Z Nail Art Challenge. However, the mani didn’t really ‘work’.

For this mani I painted my nails with MUA White Wash (white base), Orly Basket Case (pink base) and Rimmel 60 Seconds 622 Oh Boy You’re So Fine (milky purple).

The glitter topper is Nails Inc. Bow Street.

I also did some stamping, and I used my QA 88 stamping plate, Sally Hansen Insta-Dri 370 Uptempo Plum, and Essence’s White Stamping Polish (which, unfortunately, has been discontinued).

I think this mani is not very special, and it’s definitely not one of my favourites. It was just about OK for a weekend. Feel free to comment if you want to. And thanks for reading! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro 430 Black Satin, Barry M Bubblegum, MUA Whitewash & Revlon Colorstay 170 Coastal Surf / A-Z Nail Art Challenge F – Fuzzy Topper

Hi there! Today’s post is about the first mani I did for the A-Z Nail Art Challenge. This challenge is called Fuzzy Topper. Cute, eh?

I have quite a few ‘fuzzy toppers’. But, unfortunately, I rarely use them. So this challenge provides the perfect opportunity to sport one of those fuzzy toppers!

And these are the nail polishes that I used:
Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro 430 Black Satin (base colour, pinkies, index fingers, thumbs),
Barry M Bubblegum (fuzzy topper),
MUA Whitewash (base colour, ring fingers),
Revlon Colorstay 170 Coastal Surf (base colour, middle fingers).

I also stamped! I chose an ornamental floral image for my middle and ring fingers. The stamping plate I used is Pueen’s 74 plate (which is part of Pueen’s Buffet Leisure collection). The black polish I stamped with is Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 080 Black Cab.

How do you like this mani? I think it looks quite nice. And I think I did a good job with these 3 colours! Feel free to comment if you want to. And thanks for stopping by!

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel Salon Pro 444 Seduce & Stamping With Pueen 72

Rimmel Essence Pueen StampingHi there! Today’s post is another nail of the day post. I did this mani a few weeks ago. It didn’t turn out as pretty as I had hoped. But it’s not a nail fail. 🙂

I painted my nails with Rimmel Salon Pro 444 Seduce (pinky, middle finger, index finger, thumb) and MUA White Wash (ring finger).

I wanted to stamp white on purple and purple on white. So I used Essence’s fantastic white stamping polish – and Rimmel 444 Seduce.

The exotic floral image is from Pueen’s 72 plate (from Pueen’s Stamping Buffet collection) which is one of my favourite plates.

All in all, I’m happy with the mani. Yes, it’s unfortunate that the purple polish didn’t stamp very well. However, I can look past that. 🙂 Feel free to let me know what you think and thanks for reading!

Nail Of The Day – MUA White Wash & Stamping

112015 MUA White Wash plus Stamping111Hi there! I’ve been looking for a nice and opaque white nail polish for a while. And after reading a few reviews I bought MUA White Wash.

I think White Wash is quite good. It didn’t take long to dry and two coats were sufficient for perfect white nails. Good job, MUA!

Now what do you do with white nails? You stamp! 😀

But before I got to work with my stamping kit, I tried to add a touch of glamour with a no-name iridescent white shimmer polish.

Then I selected a few simple floral images from different no-name stamping plates which I stamped on with Filthy Gorgeous Midnight. Midnight is a great polish for stamping – but I’m sure you can see that. 🙂
