Nail Of The Day – Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Ion & Stamping With Sugar Bubbles 031

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I did a little while ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Ion (3 coats). This is a terrible polish. The formula is chalky, the polish takes ages to dry, the polish is prone to chipping, and the colour is just awful. 😧

Nail colours like this one always look best when you see as little as possible of them. And that’s why I decided to stamp!

I used the super beautiful Sugar Bubbles 031 stamping plate. The dark blue polish I stamped with is Filthy Gorgeous Midnight.

Whilst I didn’t love the mani, I think it looked alright. But I do love marine manis, and I think the sea, beach and flip flops theme fits the season. 🙂

Another thing: If you’re wondering how stamping works, I’ve done a tutorial on everything you need to know  – and everything I wish I had known when I started to stamp. Don’t worry, you’ll figure out stamping in an hour, but the tutorial will answer all the questions that you will have about stampers, scrapers, polishes, stamping plates, extra stuff you might need and everything else really! The tutorial is here.

And I also did a post on how I made my own stamping polish. This post can be found here.

Nail Of The Day – Revlon Colorstay 290 Midnight & Stamping With MoYou London Animals 05

Hi there! I have a Nail Of The Day post for you today. 🙂

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon Colorstay 290 Midnight (2 coats). I love this polish (I love quite a few Revlon Colorstay polishes because they’re awesome).

I used my (relatively new) MoYou London Animals 05 plate – which I bought because it has a number of marine images. I own several stamping plates with marine images, and I’ve done quite a few marine manis over the years – and I know I’ll be doing many more!

The light blue polish I stamped with is Orly Snow Cone. It’s not a stamping polish, but it stamps perfectly. 🙂

My Favourite Manis Of 2018

Hi there! Today’s post is about my favourite manis of 2018. I stamped like a maniac, I used a lot of glitter, and I did plenty of foil manis. Scroll down if you’d like to know which manis I really liked this year. 🙂

These were my favourite manis from 2018. I bought more stamping plates, and I have a crazy amount of foils and glitter toppers, so I’m sure 2019 will be a similarly colourful year for nails. 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Sinful Colors Blue La La, Revlon 044 Blue Lagoon, Maybelline Colorshow 654 Superpower Blue & Stamping With MoYou London Doodles 07

Hi there! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today. And it’s another marine mani!

For this mani I painted my nails with Sinful Colors Blue La La (2 coats, pinkies, middle fingers), Revlon 044 Blue Lagoon (2 coats, ring fingers), and Maybelline Colorshow 654 Superpower Blue (2 coats, index fingers, thumbs).

I used MoYou London‘s super cute Doodles 07 stamping plate.

As almost always, I used drugstore polishes as my stamping polishes: Maybelline Colorshow 654 Superpower Blue (pinkies, middle fingers), Orly Snow Cone (index fingers, thumbs), and Revlon 902 Craving Coral (ring fingers).

I like this mani. It’s not my best marine mani, but it looks cute, so what’s not to like? Do you like marine manis? Feel free to get in touch. By the way, if you’d like to order from MoYou, you can get 10% off if you order through this link.
