NSPA Warming Detox Clay Mask With Kaolin & Ginger

Hi there! Today’s post is about this NSPA Warming Detox Clay Mask With Kaolin & Ginger which I picked up at my local Asda store. This face mask promises to give pores a deep cleanse. Start with a clean face, then apply this mask. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes, then wash it off.

I’ve given this mask a try, and let me start by saying that it smells like poison – the synthetic “ginger” fragrance is something else! Having said that, the mask is actually quite good. It’s very cleansing, but at the same time, it doesn’t feel too drying. If it weren’t for that horrendous smell, I’d actually recommend the mask. What a shame!

If you’re interested, NSPA Warming Detox Clay Mask With Kaolin & Ginger is available as a 15ml single-use face mask for £1.50, but I bought it for £1.

NSPA Detoxifying Clay Mask With Charcoal & Menthol

Hi there! Today’s post is about this NSPA Detoxifying Clay Mask With Charcoal & Menthol. This face mask is aimed at combination and oily skin types. It promises to draw out impurities and excess oil for clear and clean skin.

The best way to use the mask is… cleanse your face, apply the mask, leave it on for 15 minutes, then rinse it off.

One sachet contained plenty of product; it was enough for 2 faces – so my husband and I were able to share this mask. We found the mask to be cooling and very cleansing, but not drying. We both enjoyed the mask, and I will buy it again, no doubt!

If you’re interested, NSPA Detoxifying Clay Mask With Charcoal & Menthol is available as a single-use 15ml mask for £1.50. Asda often has these masks on special for £1 – which is what I paid.

NSPA Fruit Extracts Luscious And Juicy Red Cherry Shower & Bath Gel

Hi there! Today’s post is about this NSPA Fruit Extracts Luscious And Juicy Red Cherry Shower & Bath Gel.

I’ve been using the matching body butter for a few weeks now, so I thought I should dig up the shower gel too.

Now that I’ve used this shower gel for a few times, I’m happy to report that I like it. It lathers up nicely, it smells of sweet cherries, and it’s not too harsh on the skin.

I haven’t used it as a bath gel, but I think it would be nice and bubbly.

I can see that the simple, linear fragrance might get old (it’s a 500ml bottle after all), but for now I am enjoying it.

NSPA Fruit Extracts Luscious And Juicy Red Cherry Shower & Bath Gel is available as 500ml for £3. I’m pretty sure I bought it when it was on special (probably half price).

NSPA Brightening & Radiance Peeling Mask With Papaya & Hops

Hi there! Today’s post is about this NSPA Brightening & Radiance Peeling Mask With Papaya & Hops which is vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. This mask promises to exfoliate and brighten dull and lacklustre skin.

You’re supposed to apply the mask after you’ve cleansed your face. Leave it on until it’s dry (about 15 minutes), then peel it off and wash off any mask residue.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I don’t think it did much. I enjoyed the fruity scent, but the mask itself came off too easily. I don’t think it took any dead skin cells with it. After the amazing Primark and Montagne Jeunesse peel-off masks I’ve tried recently, this one was a disappointment!

NSPA Brightening & Radiance Peeling Mask With Papaya & Hops is available as a 15ml single-use face mask for £1.50. I paid £1 (special offer).

NSPA Grapefruit & Orange Bath & Shower Gel, NSPA Green Tea & Aloe Vera Bath & Shower Gel

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 shower gels I picked up at my local Asda – NSPA Grapefruit & Orange Bath & Shower Gel and NSPA Green Tea & Aloe Vera Bath & Shower Gel. I love oranges, grapefruits, green tea and aloe, so I thought these would be perfect for me. Here’s what I think:

NSPA Grapefruit & Orange Bath & Shower Gel is disappointing. It’s like a really bad orange soda. I can’t imagine anyone would enjoy this odd fragrance in a shower gel. I think this is another shower gel that will end up as hand wash.

NSPA Green Tea & Aloe Vera Bath & Shower Gel is nice. It smells green and refreshing with a hint of sweetness. I’m glad I bought this one. I know I’ll enjoy it over the coming weeks.

NSPA Grapefruit & Orange Bath & Shower Gel and NSPA Green Tea & Aloe Vera Bath & Shower Gel are available as 400ml each for £3 each. I paid £1.50 each (half price offer).

Battle Of The Peachy Shower Gels – Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Yellow Peach Shower Gel vs. NSPA Deliciously Soft And Sweet Peach Shower & Bath Gel

Hi there! Today’s post is about two peachy shower gels – Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Yellow Peach Shower Gel and NSPA Deliciously Soft And Sweet Peach Shower & Bath Gel.

Let’s start with this Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Yellow Peach Shower Gel which was a free gift with purchase. Unfortunately, I didn’t like this shower gel at all. It smelled terribly cheap and chemical. This one ended up in the hand wash dispenser in the guest bathroom.
yr-peach-shower-nspa-peach-shower
NSPA Deliciously Soft And Sweet Peach Shower & Bath Gel is alright but nothing special. This shower gel smells more of peach skin than the actual fruit. I’ll keep using it for a few more days, but I’m sure that this shower gel will end up as hand wash too.

Whilst NSPA’s shower gel is much better than Yves Rocher’s attempt at a peach shower gel, I don’t care for either product.

Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Yellow Peach Shower Gel is available as 400ml, and NSPA Deliciously Soft And Sweet Peach Shower & Bath Gel is available as 500ml.

NSPA Pink Grapefruit Raspberry Face Wash

Hi there! Today’s post is about a face wash I picked up at my local Asda for £2 (clearance) – NSPA Fruit Extracts Pink Grapefruit Raspberry Face Wash.

This face wash contains natural fruit extracts, retinyl palmitate (WOW!) vitamin E, as well as biotin, and it’s aimed at people with normal, dry or sensitive skin.

I’ve been using this face wash (in conjunction with a konjac sponge) for a month now, and I think it’s quite good. It’s a gentle cream wash, so it’s great for dry and sensitive skin types.

Occasionally, I also use this product as a cream cleanser (with the help of a hot cloth) to remove my make-up – and it works well. It’s not perfect at removing eye make-up but that was expected.

All in all, this is a decent face wash. I would recommend it to people with normal, dry or sensitive skin. NSPA Fruit Extracts Pink Grapefruit Raspberry Face Wash is available as 150ml at Asda.

NSPA Luscious And Juicy Red Cherry Daily Refresh Shower Scrub

Hi there! Today’s post is about this NSPA Luscious And Juicy Red Cherry Daily Refresh Shower Scrub.

I love NSPA products in general, but I can’t with those terribly long names…

Anyhoo, let’s focus on the product! I’ve been using this shower scrub on and off for 2 weeks now, and I think it’s actually very good!

This scrub is packed with small exfoliating particles. This means that it’s quite effective. However, the scrub isn’t too harsh, and I think it’s definitely OK to use it on a daily basis. I’m using this scrub 2-3 times per week, and I think this is perfectly sufficient for me.

The cherry fragrance is sweet and natural. I’ve come across quite a few nasty cherry fragrances over the past 20+ years, so this one was a very nice suprise!

I’m enjoying this body scrub a lot, and I will use it up for sure! NSPA Luscious And Juicy Red Cherry Daily Refresh Shower Scrub is available as 225ml. I paid 79p (Home Bargains).

NSPA Bergamot & Orange Blossom Shower Cream And Body Oil

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 NSPA products I picked up from my local Asda’s clearance shelf – NSPA Uplifting & Revitalising Bergamot & Orange Blossom Shower Cream and Body Oil. I picked these up for half price – that’s £1.50 each instead of the usual £3. The NSPA collection is receiving a makeover, and it appears a number of products will go – including these 2. Onto the actual review!

NSPA Uplifting & Revitalising Bergamot & Orange Blossom Shower Cream has a very old-fashioned fragrance. I don’t hate it, but I don’t care for it. I don’t think this product qualifies as a shower cream. It feels nice whilst it’s being lathered up, but as soon as I get out of the shower, my skin feels dry and in need of a moisturiser.

NSPA Uplifting & Revitalising Bergamot & Orange Blossom Body Oil is much nicer. This is a light oil that feels non-greasy. I like it a lot! The fragrance is also much better – it’s fresher and lighter. I’m enjoying it very much.

In summary, I wouldn’t recommend the shower cream, but I would recommend the oil! Have you tried these products or would you like to try them? Feel free to comment, and thanks for reading! 🙂
