Battle Of The Peachy Shower Gels – Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Yellow Peach Shower Gel vs. NSPA Deliciously Soft And Sweet Peach Shower & Bath Gel

Hi there! Today’s post is about two peachy shower gels – Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Yellow Peach Shower Gel and NSPA Deliciously Soft And Sweet Peach Shower & Bath Gel.

Let’s start with this Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Yellow Peach Shower Gel which was a free gift with purchase. Unfortunately, I didn’t like this shower gel at all. It smelled terribly cheap and chemical. This one ended up in the hand wash dispenser in the guest bathroom.

NSPA Deliciously Soft And Sweet Peach Shower & Bath Gel is alright but nothing special. This shower gel smells more of peach skin than the actual fruit. I’ll keep using it for a few more days, but I’m sure that this shower gel will end up as hand wash too.

Whilst NSPA’s shower gel is much better than Yves Rocher’s attempt at a peach shower gel, I don’t care for either product.

Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Yellow Peach Shower Gel is available as 400ml, and NSPA Deliciously Soft And Sweet Peach Shower & Bath Gel is available as 500ml.

NSPA Pink Grapefruit Raspberry Face Wash

Hi there! Today’s post is about a face wash I picked up at my local Asda for £2 (clearance) – NSPA Fruit Extracts Pink Grapefruit Raspberry Face Wash.

This face wash contains natural fruit extracts, retinyl palmitate (WOW!) vitamin E, as well as biotin, and it’s aimed at people with normal, dry or sensitive skin.

I’ve been using this face wash (in conjunction with a konjac sponge) for a month now, and I think it’s quite good. It’s a gentle cream wash, so it’s great for dry and sensitive skin types.

Occasionally, I also use this product as a cream cleanser (with the help of a hot cloth) to remove my make-up – and it works well. It’s not perfect at removing eye make-up but that was expected.

All in all, this is a decent face wash. I would recommend it to people with normal, dry or sensitive skin. NSPA Fruit Extracts Pink Grapefruit Raspberry Face Wash is available as 150ml at Asda.

NSPA Fresh Cool Crisp Refreshing Apple Shower & Bath Gel

Hi there! Today’s post is about NSPA’s Fresh Cool Crisp Refreshing Apple Shower & Bath Gel.

I’ve used and reviewed numerous NSPA products over the past 4 years, but there are a few products which I haven’t managed to try. This shower gel was one of these products.

But I’ve now given this shower gel a try, and here’s what I think…

Alrighty, let’s start with the fragrance. I think the apple fragrance is extremely basic und not very natural. It’s not terrible, but it’s not very enjoyable either.

There’s more. I think this shower gel isn’t very refreshing. And I’ve noticed that it dries out my skin.

I won’t continue to use this shower gel on my body. This stuff is going in the hand soap dispenser in the kitchen!

NSPA Sharp And Uplifting Lemon Bath & Shower Gel

Hi there! Today’s post is about NSPA‘s Sharp And Uplifting Lemon Shower & Bath Gel.

I had this shower gel stashed away for quite some time, and I almost forgot about it. But about 2 weeks ago I did an inventory of one of the boxes under the bed (don’t ask…), and this shower gel was one of a few summery shower products that I moved to the bathroom. 🙂

Now… is this shower gel any good? Yes, it is. The lemon fragrance is tangy and refreshing. It smells just as awesome as Original Source’s lemon shower gel. I also love the sherbet-like texture which adds to the cool feel of the shower gel.

I know NSPA‘s Sharp And Uplifting Lemon Shower & Bath Gel will serve me well this summer. If you’d like to try this shower gel, it’s available as 500ml for £3. I bought it when Asda ran a 3 for £4 promotion.

Have you tried this product? Have you tried any of the other NSPA shower gels? If so, which ones are your favourites? Feel free to get in touch via the comments. And thanks for reading!

NSPA Rich Body Butter With Moisturising Shea Butter

Hi there! Today’s post is about NSPA‘s Rich Body Butter with Moisturising Shea Butter. NSPA is a brand that’s exclusive to Asda. And this body butter was made in the UK (like NSPA’s entire product range). Onto the review! 🙂

I think this body butter smells amazing. The shea butter fragrance is sweet, warm and cuddly. It’s gorgeous, and I can’t get enough of it!
NSPA Shea Butter
This body butter doesn’t just smell great. It’s also a fantastic moisturiser. It’s rich and nourishing, and it makes my skin feel super soft. This body butter feels a little sticky, but it’s fine once it’s absorbed (which takes 2 or 3 minutes).

All in all, I think this body butter is wonderful. I would recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a nourishing body moisturiser. NSPA‘s Rich Body Butter with Moisturising Shea Butter is available as 200ml for £3.

NSPA Vanilla Shower & Bath Gel, NSPA Shea Butter Shower & Bath Gel

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 NSPA shower gels which, I think, sound perfectly delicious – NSPA Vanilla Shower & Bath Gel and NSPA Shea Butter Shower & Bath Gel. NSPA products are exclusive to Asda, and the big 500ml shower gels are £3 each. I paid £2 each (special offer). 🙂 Now onto the reviews!

NSPA Vanilla is a warm, smokey vanilla. The fragrance is rather dense and definitely more suitable for the colder seasons. I like this shower gel, but I don’t love it. My husband, however, seems to enjoy it very much, so I’ll let him have it.

NSPA Shea Butter smells… cute and cuddly. I can’t describe the fragrance any better, but I love it. It’s gorgeous! If you’re not already in love with this shower gel, you need to have a sniff the next time you shop at Asda.

Have you tried these shower gels? Or would you like to try them? Feel free to get in touch. And thanks for stopping by!

NSPA Pineapple Shower & Bath Gel, Pineapple Fragrance Body Mist

Hi there! Today’s post is about two summer-themed products – NSPA Pineapple Shower & Bath Gel and NSPA Pineapple Fragrance Body Mist. NSPA products are exclusive to Asda, and the fruity body care products (500ml shower gels, 200ml body mists) are usually £3 each. I paid £2 each (2 for £4 promotion). Now onto the review!
NSPA Pineapple
NSPA Pineapple Shower & Bath Gel is more like a shower cream. It’s not the most refreshing shower poduct, but it’s not drying which is nice. The fragrance is sweet and exotic – almost like real pineapples. NSPA Pineapple Fragrance Body Mist is quite enjoyable as well. The pineapple fragrance isn’t very longlasting, but that’s OK really because this is obviously just a body mist.

All in all, I think these two products are quite reasonable and definitely good value for money. If you’re interested, give these products a sniff the next time you swing by your local Asda store. 🙂

NSPA Mango Fragrance Body Mist, NSPA Vanilla Fragrance Body Mist

Hi there! I’ve been using all sorts of NSPA products for quite some time now – shower gels, body butters, body mists… you name it. And today I’m reviewing NSPA’s Mango Fragrance Body Mist and NSPA’s Vanilla Fragrance Body Mist.

NSPA’s Mango Fragrance Body Mist isn’t great. I was hoping it would smell like Boots’ mango fragrance – but it’s nothing like it. NSPA’s mango fragrance isn’t horrible, but it smells rather cheap and synthetic. I’ll pass this body mist on to someone who isn’t that picky with all-over body sprays. 🙂
nspa-mango-vanilla
NSPA’s Vanilla Fragrance Body Mist is decent. I don’t think the vanilla fragrance is particularly special. However, the vanilla scent is pleasant, sweet and a little ‘boozy’. Sometimes I spray it on my scarf or on my husband’s pillow. 🙂 Yes, my husband likes that! I think that, if you like vanilla fragrances in general, you should give this body mist a try!

NSPA products are exclusive to Asda. The body mists are available as 200ml for £3.

Reducing My Oldies Stash – NSPA Caramel Chocolate Shower & Bath Gel

nspa caramel chocolateHi there! Today’s post is about NSPA’s Rich And Velvety Decadent Caramel Chocolate Shower & Bath Gel which I bought last year.

Back then I thought I’d use this shower gel right away, but I had so many part-used bottles that I wanted to finish first. In addition, this one is a 500ml bottle!

And all of a sudden it was summer and I switched to fruity shower products. 😀

But a few days ago I finally started to use this shower gel. And I love it!

The gel itself is quite thick which is nice because I can’t spill it by accident. And I love the shimmering golden brown colour of this shower gel.

But it doesn’t just look chocolatey – it smells chocolatey too! Whilst it’s a caramel chocolate shower gel, the caramel note is quite faint. The rich chocolate aroma is the star of the show, no doubt!

Another thing I like is that this shower gel doesn’t feel drying. It lathers up well, but it’s very gentle! All in all, I think this is a fantastic shower product. I hope NSPA does the same limited edition again next year. If so, I’ll be stocking up!

NSPA Caramel Fudge Shower & Bath Gel

NSPA Caramel FudgeHi there! About two months ago I bought quite a few NSPA products. I’ve already reviewed the wonderful Orient fragrance, and now’s the time to take a closer look at NSPA Caramel Fudge Shower & Bath Gel.

I really like the thick texture of this shower & bath gel because I can’t spill it by accident. And the shimmering gel in golden and caramel hues looks very pretty.

The gel lathers up nicely and it smells absolutely delicious. NSPA did a really good job creating an authentic caramel fudge fragrance.

Another good thing is that this shower & bath gel doesn’t dry out my skin. It really feels rich and velvety – just as it says on the bottle.

It’s too bad I’m only using this product now. It would have been perfect during the colder months…

NSPA Caramel Fudge Shower & Bath Gel a limited edition product. It’s only £2 for a huge 500ml bottle. My local Asda has lots of stock left, so yours might too!
