Nail Of The Day – Models Own Sarong Wrap, NYC Expert Last 205 Boundless Berry, Rimmel 60 Seconds 831 Magic Stardust & Stamping With Pueen 83

Hi there! Happy Monday! I have a Nail Of The Day post for you today. 🙂

For this mani I painted my thumbs, index and middle fingers with NYC Expert Last 205 Boundless Berry (2 coats). The glitter top coat I used is Rimmel 60 Seconds 831 Magic Stardust (1 coat).

I painted my pinkies and ring fingers with 2 coats of white polish and 2 coats of Models Own Sarong Wrap. The yellow Models Own polish is poorly pigmented, and that’s why I needed to start with a white base underneath.

I stamped with Pueen‘s 83 plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Buffet Leisure collection) and Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto.

I liked this mani very much. I’ve done purple and yellow manis before, and I know I’ll be doing more purple and yellow manis in the not too distant future. 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel 860 Bestival Blue, NYC Expert Last 205 Boundless Berry, Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure 833 Vintage Confetti & Stamping With Bundle Monster BM-719

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I did a long time ago. I think this one’s from last summer! Oops!

Ayhoo… for this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel 860 Bestival Blue (2 coats, middle and index fingers, thumbs) and NYC Expert Last 205 Boundless Berry (2 coats, ring fingers, pinkies).

I wanted glitter, but I also wanted to stamp so… the pretty glitter top coat I used is Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure 833 Vintage Confetti.

I used Bundle Monster‘s BM-719 plate (which is part of Bundle Monster‘s amazing Secret Garden stamping plate collection).

I didn’t like this mani very much. It’s not a complete fail, but I expected it to look much better. Ah well…

Nail Of The Day – Rainbow Foils

Hi there! The past few days were really busy because Christmas 2015 was the first time I ordered most of my sale stuff online. Chasing the postie for my parcels, trying on countless items and returning some of them was quite a drag.

I usually hit the stores on Oxford Street on Boxing Day – and I am one of those people who catch the first tube to make sure I arrive before everyone else. 🙂

But not this year. I ordered my ‘half price or less’ shopping online, and I only went to Boots to check which half price gift sets were still available in store.

I was really busy with all the clothes, parcels, bags and return notes (first world problems, I know). And I didn’t have the energy to make a fuss about my nails.  So I went with a simple foil mani.

I painted my nails with NYC Expert Last 205 Boundless Berry. And then I went nuts with my favourite multi-coloured foils again. Then top coat. And the job was done!
