Nail Of The Day – NYC In A Minute 296 Water Street Blue & Essence Mountain Calling Snow Effect Top Coat

Hi there! Today’s Nail Of The Day post is about a mani I did not too long ago.

I thought that a simple winter mani would be nice. So I opted for snowflakes on a blue background.

For this mani I painted my nails with NYC In A Minute 296 Water Street Blue (2 easy coats).

And I used Essence’s Mountain Calling Snow Effect top coat to add snowflakes to an otherwise unspectacular mani.

I really liked this mani because it looked cute. How do you like this mani? Feel free to comment. And thanks for stopping by!

Nail Of The Day – Blue Gradient Nails Feat. Ciaté, Rimmel & NYC / A-Z Nail Art Challenge B-Blue

Hi there! It’s Nail Week and, obviously, I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

I did a pink-to-red gradient mani a couple of months ago, so I thought I might as well try a blue gradient mani. 🙂

I used the following nail products:
Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 704 Sweet As Sugar (pinkies),
Rimmel 60 Seconds 503 Mind The Gap Victoria (ring fingers),
NYC In A Minute 296 Water Street Blue (middle fingers),
Rimmel Lycra Pro 425 My Denim (index fingers and thumbs),
Ciaté Party Shoes (glitter topper).

I really liked the mani. The colours I chose weren’t perfect, but I was still happy with this mani. Do you agree? Feel free to get in touch via the comments. And thanks for stopping by! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – NYC In A Minute 296 Water Street Blue & Stamping With Pueen 76 / Nail Art Challenge #5 Blue Nails

upload-1Hi there! I’ve got another nail post for you today.

I’m also continuing with the 31 Days Nail Art Challenge, and today’s mani is for challenge #5 Blue Nails. Easy, eh? 😉

For this mani I painted my nails with NYC In A Minute 296 Water Street Blue (2 coats).

I used Essence’s white stamping polish to stamp on the floral images. The stamping plate I used was Pueen’s 76 plate which is part of Pueen’s Buffet Leisure collection.

I like how this mani turned out. It’s not too flashy, but it’s not too boring. It’s a nice and safe stamping mani. How do you like my nails? Feel free to comment. And thanks for reading! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – NYC In A Minute 296 Water Street Blue, Sally Hansen HD 03 Pixel Pretty & Stamping

NYC Sally Hansen Blue plus stampingHi there! A couple of months ago I did this super cute floral mani which drew lots of compliments. And now that my nails look alright again, I thought I’d try the same mani – in reverse. 🙂

So instead of painting my nails white and stamping on blue flowers, this time I did it the other way around. I painted my nails with NYC In A Minute 296 Water Street Blue (2 coats), a medium blue with a creamy finish.

Then I added 1 coat of Sally Hansen’s HD 03 Pixel Pretty, a shimmery turquoise which adds a lot of sparkle!

And then I stamped on a few different floral images from different stamping plates – using the fabulous white Essence Nail Art Stampy Polish.

How do you like this mani? And which one do you like better – the original blue on white mani or this one? Feel free to comment and thanks for stopping by!
