Empties – October 2021

Hi there! Today’s post is about all the products I finished in October. I used a few single-use face masks, and you can click here if you’d like to read my latest face mask reviews. Now let’s look at the big bottles…

Imperial Leather Grapefruit & Pomegranate Shower Cream – I liked this one a lot! It’s been discontinued, and I believe this was the last one I had in my stash. 😢

2 Radox “Donut Mind If I Do” Vanilla Bean & White Chocolate Scent Shower Gel – very nice! Definitely repurchase-worthy!

3 Herbal Essences Moisture Balance Conditioner – a holy grail product! I have plenty of backup (shampoos AND conditioners!) 😁

4 Gosh Cracked Nail Lacquer 04 Gold – didn’t like it. Wouldn’t give it a second look.

5 Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Magenta Moves – I loved this polish so much! I think I have another bottle. Fingers crossed!

6 Primark PS… 2 In 1 Base & Top Coat – a decent clear polish. I should have 1 more bottle in my stash.

7 Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Ageing Regenerating Night Cream – I love this night cream! I have another one in my stash.

8 Superdrug Anti-Ageing Hand Cream – I used this hand cream as a foot cream, and it did a good job. But I won’t buy it again.

9 Garnier Body Tonic Firming Hydrating Lotion – a very nice body lotion! Repurchase-worthy, no doubt!

10 Original Source Sweet Apple & Vanilla Milk Moisturising Shower Milk – a really nice shower cream. Unfortunately, it has been discontinued, otherwise I’d buy it again.

11 Olay Essentials Refreshing Face Wash – a great face wash! I believe this product has been repackaged and is now called “Olay Cleanse Foaming Cleanser Jelly”, although I’m not 100% sure if it’s the exact same formula.

12 Asda Sleep & Relax Bath Soak – I love this bath soak! I already bought a few back-up bottles!

13 Classics Nail Polish Remover – they shrunk the bottle from 400ml to 250ml, but the price remained the same. Rather greedy from the manufacturer, but this will remain my go to nail polish remover.

I think I did more than alright with my empties in October. Hopefully November will be just as good. Fingers crossed!

September Beauty Awards

Hi there! It’s the last day of the month of September, so today’s post is about the products I loved the most in September. Let’s start with the TOP 3, and there are a few honourable mentions too. 🙂

3rd place – Radox “Shell Yeah” Sea Mineral Scent Shower Gel, Radox “Donut Mind If I Do” Vanilla Bean & White Chocolate Scent Shower Gel

Radox’s Shell Yeah and Donut Mind If I Do Shower Gels were the most wonderful surprises. I didn’t expect to love them, but these shower gels are simply wow!

Runner-Up – Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Ageing Regenerating Night Cream
WINNER – Superdrug Vitamin C Detox Skincare Brightening Vitamin C Tonic

Olay’s Regenerist Night Cream is one of the best night creams (maybe the best) I’ve ever used. 11 stars!
Superdrug’s Vitamin C Toner has saved my skin! Words cannot express how much I love it! 11 stars!

Onto the honourable mentions! Westlab’s Sleep Epsom & Dead Sea Salts With Lavender & Jasmine are very lovely. A definite repurchase. And Farm Skin’s Kale Purifying Sheet Mask was very enjoyable too!

Have you tried any of these products? Would you like to try them? Which products have you been loving lately? Feel free to comment, and thanks for stopping by! 😘

Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Ageing Regenerating Night Cream

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Ageing Regenerating Night Cream which I’ve been using since early August. This night cream promises…to renew the skin’s youthful look, to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and to exfoliate, smooth and brighten the skin. It further claims that “over time, skin will appear revitalised and younger with reduced visible signs of fatigue.”

First thing, this night cream has been repackaged (probably why I found it at B&M Bargains in the first place). However, I checked the ingredients, and the formula is still the exact same one – with niacinamide being the 4th 😍 ingredient.

Now onto the product! After almost 2 months of using this night cream, there’s no doubt that I’m blown away. The cream feels silky, and it makes my skin feel silky. It provides the perfect amount of hydration regardless of how much sleep I get – it doesn’t make my skin feel dry or greasy at any point. That’s how I know that my skin loves it!

What else? My skin has gotten brighter this summer – I believe the majority of the credit actually goes to another product, but this beautiful night cream makes me wake up to bright and refreshed looking skin, so there’s no doubt it’s a major contributor to my skin’s current great look and feel.

Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Ageing Regenerating Night Cream is available as 50ml. It’s usually around £30, but Tesco has it for half price with Tesco Clubcard (not sure for how long though). I paid a ridiculous £8 for it (so I bought 2 of these night creams when I found them at B&M Bargains).
