Empties – March 2023

Hi there! Today’s post is about all the products I said goodbye to in March. The post is a bit late – again. Hopefully work will be less of a hot mess soon! Alrighty, onto the empties!

1 Diesel Fuel For Life Unlimited Body Lotion – the perfect body lotion to match the incredible Fuel For Life Unlimited fragrance. I found another bottle of this amazing body lotion in my stash. I hope this means that there’s another Fuel For Life Unlimited fragrance somewhere!

2 Pantene Pro-V Miracles Grow Strong Biotin + Bamboo Conditioner – a great conditioner! I will buy it (and the matching shampoo) again. My husband is enjoying the leftover shampoo quite a bit.

3 Imperial Leather SkinKind Raspberry & Lime Blossom Enriching Body Wash – a decent shower gel but not a favourite. It’s been discontinued and I’m OK with that.

4 Palmolive Naturals Black Orchid & Moisturising Milk Shower Milk – I think this was the last of its kind. So sad that this incredible shower gel has been discontinued!

5 Nivea Happy Time Shower Cream – this is a nice shower gel that I bought and enjoyed before and that I’ll buy again. Although it pales in comparison to the beautiful Palmolive shower gel…

6 I Love… Raspberry & Blackberry Bubble Bath & Shower Cream – this is a lovely shower gel. I have a few more of these in my stash!

7 Beckham Fragrances Intimately Beckham Eau De Toilette – I love this fragrance! Such a shame that this beauty has been discontinued!

8 L’Oréal Skin Perfection Velvety-Soft Toner – this toner is awesome! It’s not available anymore with this packaging, but I believe the current Fine Flowers toner is the same (or similar). I will try it soon.

9 I Love… Choca Mocha Lala Moisturizing Lip Balm – this was such an amazing lip balm. Sadly, discontinued as well.

I thought March would be better for empties, but hey ho… Thanks for stopping by today! xx

Empties – March 2022

Hi there! Today’s post is about all the stuff I finished in March. Let’s take a look at all the products I said goodbye to. 🙂

1 Jil Sander Simply Elixir Rich Body Cream – a very nice body cream. This one was part of a gift set. I don’t think I’d buy a full-size body lotion, but if I can get my hands on another gift set for a decent price, I’d be happy to have it! By the way, if you’re looking for a lady’s version of Dior Fahrenheit, you might want to check out this fragrance!

2 Sanctuary Spa Hand Cream – just lovely! I have a few more tubes in my stash.

3 Patisserie De Bain Pineapple Paradise Hand Cream – actually a really good hand cream. Repurchase-worthy.

4 Olay Essentials Smoothing Face Scrub – a decent face scrub. I have at least one more tube in my stash.

5 Carex Nourishing Shower Cream – a nice shower cream. Repurchase-worthy!

6 Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Fragrance-Free Non-Greasy Lotion – a really good body lotion for very dry skin. I might buy it again.

7 Ekél Natural Clean Peeling Gel Apricot – what a lovely peeling gel! I have another one (different scent) in my stash

8 Imperial Leather SkinKind Raspberry & Lime Blossom Enriching Body Wash – I liked this shower gel, and I have one more bottle in my stash.

9 Palmolive Naturals Irresistible Softness Black Orchid & Moisturising Milk Shower Milk – a wonderful shower gel. Unfortunately it has been discontinued. I think I have another bottle though!

10 Superdrug Vitamin C Detox Skincare Revitalising Jam Face Mask – this is a decent scrub mask. I would buy it again!

11 Oriflame M by Marcel Marongiu – what a lovely, unique fragrance! Too bad it was a limited edition from eons ago…

12 Pantene Pro-V Miracles Grow Strong Biotin + Bamboo Shampoo & Conditioner – such a nice surprise! I will buy this conditioner (and the matching shampoo) again. My husband is enjoying the leftover shampoo too (once I finish a conditioner, I pass the matching leftover shampoo on to my husband).

13 Boots Extracts Sweet Mango Body Wash – a lovely shower gel. Unfortunately discontinued.

I’m glad I finished a few more shower gels which were in various states of empty. I also used a bunch of single use face masks. I think I did well again in March! I hope April will be good too. I know I’ll finish 2 more products this weekend.

Pantene Pro-V Miracles Grow Strong Biotin + Bamboo Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi there! Today’s post is about a new hair care combo I started to use very recently – Pantene Pro-V Minerals Grow Strong Biotin + Bamboo Shampoo & Conditioner. These products promise to reduce hair loss and to help hair grow stronger.

Pantene Pro-V Minerals Grow Strong Biotin + Bamboo Shampoo is fabulous. It feels cleansing but not drying, and it makes my hair feel super light. The luxurious fragrance (I call it “cashmere apple”) is very enjoyable too!

Pantene Pro-V Minerals Grow Strong Biotin + Bamboo Conditioner is a pleasure to use. The formula comes close to the incredible Herbal Essences Classics formula – it’s thick and luxurious, it feels amazing and it also makes my hair feel amazing (light and nourished at the same time). And yes, the conditioner smells gorgeous too!

I’ve also noticed fewer hairs in the sink strainer in the shower from the first use of these products, so this stuff seems to work! Based on my experience, I would recommend these hair products. And I know I’ll buy them again (after I’ve tried the other 2 new Pantene hair care combos).

Pantene Pro-V Minerals Grow Strong Biotin + Bamboo Shampoo & Conditioner are available as 400ml and 275ml respectively. These products are usually about £4.50 each, but I paid £2.75 each. At the moment, Tesco has them for £2.50 each with Tesco Clubcard! A total steal!
