Weekly Recap 13 – 19 July 2020

Hi there! Happy Sunday! Today’s post is my weekly blog recap. Read on if you’d like to know what I’ve been up to on my blog this past week.

Monday 13 Jul – Primark PS… Priming Sheet Mask With Salicylic Acid

On Monday I reviewed a sheet mask. Click here to read the post.

Tuesday 14 Jul – Nail Of The Day
Thursday 16 Jul – Spa Premium Epsom Salts

Tuesday’s post was a Nail Of The Day post. Click here to read it.
On Thursday I reviewed some bath salts. Click here to read the post.

I didn’t post on Wednesday and Friday. So this is already it for this week. Thanks for stopping by! 🥰

PS: I won’t post next week. I had surgery (all is well), and I will take a full week off (no work, no blogging, no emails, no calls) to recover. I will read blogs in the meantime – and I’m back on the 27th. xx

100% Cruelty-Free – Primark PS… Priming Sheet Mask With Salicylic Acid

Hi there! Today’s post is about this bio-degradable Primark PS… Priming Sheet Mask With Salicylic Acid, charcoal powder, tea tree oil, jojoba oil, shea butter, hyaluronic acid, etc.

You’re supposed to use this mask after you’ve cleansed your skin. The instructions state that you should leave it on for 15-20 minutes, then massage the remaining essence into your skin.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s good but not great. I’m pleased to report that the mask felt cleansing and that it made my pores appear smaller. However, the essence left a slightly sticky film on my skin, and I didn’t care for the strong tea tree oil scent.

If you’re interested, Primark PS… Priming Sheet Mask With Salicylic Acid is available as a single use 23g sheet mask for £1.50 at Primark. Like all Primark beauty products, this sheet mask is certified cruelty-free. It carries the Leaping Bunny logo! 😍

Primark PS… Prep & Perfect Hydrate Priming Sheet Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about Primark‘s PS… Prep & Perfect Hydrate Priming Sheet Mask. This mask contains lotus root extract, cogon grass root extract as well as sodium hyaluronate, and it promises to help revitalise and to hydrate the skin.

This sheet mask is easy to use – cleanse your face, enjoy the mask for 20 minutes, then treat your skin to a massage using the leftover essence from the sachet.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s very good! It feels refreshing and hydrating, it seems to have a very gentle and very pleasant cooling effect, and it’s not sticky! I think this is a great product! And whilst the actual sheet mask is not great (it goes out of shape the moment you touch it), I’m happy to give it a pass because it’s bio-degradeable. I hope other mask manufacturers follow suit. All sheet masks should be bio-degradeable!

Primark‘s PS… Prep & Perfect Hydrate Priming Sheet Mask is available as a 25ml single use face mask. It’s 80p at Primark. This mask is also 100% cruelty-free (like all of Primark’s beauty products). It carries the Leaping Bunny logo (=certified cruelty-free).
