The Battle Of The Brightening Pearl Sheet Masks – Mad Beauty Disney Mulan Brightening Pearl Face Mask, Mad Beauty Disney Frozen Pearl Face Mask, Primark PS… Brightening Pearl Sheet Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is a product comparison, and it’s between 3 brightening pearl sheet masks – Mad Beauty Disney Mulan Brightening Pearl Face Mask, Mad Beauty Disney Frozen Pearl Face Mask and Primark PS… Brightening Pearl Sheet Mask. Let’s take a closer look!

Mad Beauty Disney Mulan Brightening Pearl Face Mask wasn’t great. I used the mask as instructed – I cleansed my face, put on the mask, left it on for about 20 minutes, then I took it off and rinsed the residue off of my face. The mask had no positive effect, but it irritated the skin on my cheeks – just a bit, and all was well again after an hour. But this isn’t what I want from a mask. I also found the strong sweet floral fragrance rather annoying. Also, this is a printed mask, and it looked grotesque on. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this mask.

Mad Beauty Disney Frozen Pearl Face Mask was carbon-copy of the Mulan mask. The same unpleasant fragrance, the same lack of any visible positive effect on the skin, and the same mild irritation. This mask looked just as grotesque. I regret having bought 8 different Mad Beauty Disney masks. I’ve used 5 now, and none of them impressed me. Fortunately, I bought these when they were half price. Still… there’s much better stuff to be found at Poundland and other bargain stores!

Onto this Primark PS… Brightening Pearl Sheet Mask! This mask was lovely! It felt amazing on, it made my skin feel super soft, it smelled like powder, and the essence didn’t leave a sticky film on my face! Also, this face mask is certified cruelty-free – it carries the Leaping Bunny logo. And priced at 80p, it’s a total steal! Repurchase? Yes!

Based on my experience with these 3 masks, Primark’s PS… Brightening Pearl Sheet Mask is the obvious winner of The Battle Of The Brightening Pearl Sheet Masks. Those 2 Mad Beauty masks were a waste of time and money…

100% Cruelty-Free – Primark PS… Revitalising Cucumber Peel Off Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Primark PS… Revitalising Cucumber Peel Off Mask. This face mask contains a number of botanical extracts, and it promises to lift off dirt and to revitalise skin. You’re supposed to use the mask after you’ve cleansed your face. Simply leave the mask on until it’s dry, then peel it off.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s one of Primark’s best masks. This peel off mask is very powerful! I had to remove it carefully because it stuck to my face. Fortunately, it left my skin intact, and it only removed gunk and peach fuzz (although I would have preferred my peach fuzz to remain on my skin).

I will definitely buy this face mask again, and I would recommend it to anyone on the lookout for an effective peel off mask and who doesn’t mind powerful (borderline painful) masks. Primark PS… Revitalising Cucumber Peel Off Mask is available as a single use 10ml face mask for 80p at Primark. Also – this product carries the Leaping Bunny logo – this means that it’s certified cruelty-free.

100% Cruelty-Free – Primark PS… Prep & Perfect Glow Priming Sheet Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Primark PS… Prep & Perfect Glow Priming Sheet Mask. This mask is bio-degradable, and it contains pearl extract, witch hazel as well as vitamin E, and it promises to reveal skin’s natural glow.

This mask is a normal leave-on sheet mask. Just cleanse your skin, place the mask on your face, lay back and enjoy the mask for 15-20 minutes, then massage the leftover essence into your skin.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s really good. The essence was hydrating and mildly refreshing, and I noticed that my skin looked all nice and plumped up. This was great!

Having said this, the mask has a strong lotus root fragrance. Lotus and waterlily scents are some of my least favourite scents in cosmetic products, so I won’t buy this mask again. However, if you don’t mind this kind of scent, I’d recommend this face mask!

Primark PS… Prep & Perfect Glow Priming Sheet Mask is available as a 23g single-use face mask for 80p. This mask is certified cruelty-free. It carries the Leaping Bunny logo!

Primark PS… Retinol Fusing Facial Sheet Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about a face mask I bought and tried just recently – it’s this Primark PS… Retinol Fusing Sheet Mask.

With this product, the actual sheet mask and the essence are separated. So you have to turn the sachet upside down and give it a good squeeze for the essence to reach the sheet mask. Once the mask has absorbed the essence, you can use it (just leave it on for 15-20 minutes, don’t rinse).

This mask promises to make skin appear smoother. Whilst the mask felt nice and relaxing, I don’t think it did anything to my face. When I removed the mask, I found that it left my face feeling a little sticky. It wasn’t too bad. However, I would have preferred not to have a sticky face.

All in all, I liked the novelty-effect of a fusing mask, but since it didn’t give me any results, I won’t buy it again.

If you’re interested, Primark PS… Retinol Fusing Sheet Mask is available as 20g for £2. I paid 50p (clearance).

100% Cruelty-Free – Primark PS… Plumping Sheet Mask

Hi there! I’ve got a skin care review for you today, and it’s about Primark’s PS… Plumping Sheet Mask with vitamin E, panthenol, papaya fruit extract, anise extract and witch hazel. The mask promises to nourish and to plump up skin. And the actual sheet mask itself is bio-degradable – awesome stuff!

This mask is easy to use – cleanse your skin, place the mask on your face, leave it on for 10-15 minutes, then massage the remaining essence into your skin and follow with your regular skin care.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s very good! It feels deeply hydrating, and I would agree that it has a plumping effect. When I took the mask off, my face was glowing! I will buy this mask again, and I would recommend it.

Primark’s PS… Plumping Sheet Mask with vitamin E is cruelty-free. It’s Leaping Bunny certified – like all of Primark’s own brand beauty products. And it’s 80p!

Primark PS… Brightening Rinse Off Mask Black Diamond

Hi there! Today’s post is about Primark’s PS… Brightening Rinse Off Mask Black Diamond. This is a clay mask that contains exfoliating particles and promises to brighten skin tone. You’re supposed to apply the mask, let it dry for 15-20 minutes, then rinse it off – done! Sounds easy! But does the mask work?

I got 3 uses out of this sachet, so I’m satisfied I reached the right conclusion which is… this mask is useless. It doesn’t feel cleansing, it doesn’t have any brightening effect at all, and the small exfoliating particles are really sharp. Ouch!

If you’re interested, Primark’s PS… Brightening Rinse Off Mask Black Diamond is available as 15ml for 80p. But I wouldn’t recommend this face mask at all.

Primark PS… Nourishing Leave On Mask With Pistachio

Hi there! Today’s post is about Primark‘s PS… Nourishing Leave On Mask with Pistachio. You’re supposed to apply the mask to a thoroughly cleansed face and neck, then leave it alone so that it’ll be absorbed by the skin. Sounds easy!

The sachet provides 15ml of product – which is a lot! So I’ve been using this mask as a night cream for about 10 days, and I really enjoyed it. Let me tell you more…

The mask is light green in colour, and it smells like pistachio ice cream. Very nice! The mask is also quite rich, and a little goes a long way. I’ve used the product on my face and neck, and I’m really happy with how nourishing it is. It does feel a little greasy when you apply it, so I recommend applying the mask half an hour before you go to bed.

In summary, I think Primark‘s PS… Nourishing Leave On Mask with Pistachio is very nice. I recommend it to everyone with dry skin and everyone who loves pistachio ice cream. The 15ml sachet is 80p only!

Nail Of The Day – Primark PS… Nail Polish Marshmallow & Stamping With Bundle Monster BM-S161, BM-S162 / A-Z Nail Art Challenge K – Kitties

Hi there! I’ve got a nail of the day post for you today. 🙂

For this mani I painted my nails with Primark PS… Nail Polish Marshmallow (2 coats). This is one of the best white nail polishes I’ve ever had. Well done, Primark!

Since I wanted to do a cat mani, I used Bundle Monster’s BM-S161 and BM-S162 stamping plates (which are part of Bundle Monster’s Fuzzy & Ferocious collection).

The black polish I stamped with is Rimmel 60 Seconds 820 Hot Black To Go.

The mani looked a little messy – and I think the stamping plates are to blame. I’ve used these two plates before and I had the same problem. But in real life no one noticed. 😉

This mani goes in the A-Z Nail Art Challenge folder. I’ll file in under K – Kitties. How do you like this mani? Feel free to comment. And thanks for reading!

Hi there! Today I’m showing you another mani that I did for the brilliant A-Z Nail Art Challenge.

For the Z – Zebra challenge I painted my nails with Primark PS… Quick Dry Nail Polish 18 Strobe (2 easy coats). This is a very good white polish. And it’s 60p only. I will stock up!

I used Rimmel 60 Seconds 820 Hot Black To Go and Bundle Monster’s BM-S161 plate (from Bundle Monster’s Fuzzy And Ferocious set) to stamp zebra stripes onto my nails.

I’ve never done a zebra mani before but I think it turned out quite alright. What do you think? Feel free to get in touch. And thanks for reading! 🙂
