Nail Of The Day – Barry M Molten Metal Holographic Rocket & Stamping With Pueen 77

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I did a little while ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Barry M Molten Metal Holographic Rocket (3 coats, but 2 would have been fine too).

For the images I used the one and only Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto and Pueen‘s 77 stamping plate (which is part of Pueen‘s beautiful Buffet Leisure stamping plate collection).

I really liked how this mani turned out. In real life, it looked much better than in the photo, but I chose this photo to show off the beautiful holo effect of the Barry M polish. 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Miss Sporty Lasting Colour 500, Jess Nail Polish Oxygen, Water Decals & Stamping With Pueen 77 / 31 Day Nail Art Challenge #6 Violet Nails

Hi there! Today’s post is about another mani that I’m doing for the 31 Day Nail Art Challenge. This is challenge #6 VIOLET NAILS.

For this mani I painted my nails with Miss Sporty Lasting Colour 500 (2 coats, middle and index fingers, thumbs). This is a gorgeous purple polish.

I used MoYou London‘s Orchid Chic stamping polish and Pueen‘s 77 stamping plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Buffet Leisure collection).

For the ring fingers and pinkies I used floral water decals and 2 coats of Jess Oxygen. Jess nail polishes used to be exclusive to Poundland, but the brand disappeared.

I really liked this mani. Purple is one of my favourite (nail) colours, and the decals looked very nice with the holo glitter top coat.

Nail Of The Day – Astor Fashion Studio 002 Cotton Candy & Stamping With Pueen 77 / A-Z Nail Art Challenge L – Love

Hi there! Today’s post is about my Valentine’s Day mani. Quite late, huh?

Anyhoo… for this mani I painted my nails with Astor Fashion Studio 002 Cotton Candy (2 coats).

The stamping plate I used is Pueen‘s 77 plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Buffet Leisure collection).

I decided to double-stamp, and I used 2 non-stamping polishes for this – Essence Colour & Go 140 Go Bold (gold) and NYC In A Minute 230 Penn Station (red).

I think this mani was alright. It was nothing special, but it looked cute. And I really liked the double-stamping effect!

This mani goes in the A-Z Nail Art Challenge folder. I’ll file it under LLove! How do you like this mani? Feel free to comment. And thanks for reading! 🙂

Nail Of The Day

Hi there! Today’s Nail Of The Day post is about a mani I did last month. For this mani I painted my nails with my home-made white polish.

Well, some time ago I poured all my near-empty white polishes into an empty Rimmel polish bottle – the result was an almost full bottle of white nail polish. 🙂

I opted for a white base because I wanted to finish a near-empty colour polish. And stamping is simply the easiest way to get those hard to reach last drops of polish out of the bottle.

The colour polish I stamped with is Bourjois Sunset A Rio 47. The stamping plate I chose is Pueen‘s 77 plate (part of Pueen’s Buffet Leisure collection).

The coral polish was paler than expected, so I double-stamped. This seemed to mess up the images, but I was OK with that because I managed to empty the Bourjois polish! Success!

Nail Of The Day – L’Oréal Collection Exclusive By JLo – JLo’s Delicate Rose & Stamping With Pueen 77 / A-Z Nail Art Challenge R – Red

Hi there! I’ve got another nail of the day post for you today. This mani is another mani that counts towards the A-Z Nail Art Challenge. The actual challenge is R – Red.

For this mani I painted my nails with L’Oréal Collection Exclusive By JLo – JLo’s Delicate Rose (1 coat).

This polish is amazing – the colour, the formula, the brush… well done, L’Oréal!

Then I used Pueen’s 77 plate (which is part of Pueen’s Buffet Leisure stamping collection) and Essence Wave Goddess 01 (which is a really old limited edition polish) to stamp these pretty and delicate images onto my nails. Job done!

I really like how this mani turned out. The vampy red base colour is gorgeous, and the images are beautiful and subtle. How do you like this mani? Please let me know via the comments. And thanks for reading! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Orly Basket Case & Stamping With Pueen 77

Orly Basket Case Pueen 77Hi there! After yesterday’s ugly mani post, today’s NOTD is easier on the eyes.

For this mani I painted my nails with Orly Basket Case (2 coats). I love this polish – it dries quickly, it’s opaque in two coats, and the formula is a dream to work with.

The images I stamped on are featured on Pueen’s 77 plate (which is part of Pueen’s Buffet Leisure collection).

This mani wasn’t a favourite (I did it a while ago). That’s because I didn’t take the time to actually select the images that would go on my nails, and I even messed up the image on the index finger. That’s what you get when you stamp all your nails in about 60 seconds…

How do you like this mani? Feel free to comment if you want to. And thanks for reading!

Nail Of The Day – Boots No.7 Devil’s Delight & Stamping With Pueen 77 / Nail Art Challenge #1 Red Nails

uploadHi there! I’m continuing with the 31 Days Nail Art Challenge, and today’s post is about Red Nails (Nail Art Challenge #1).

For this mani I painted my nails with Boots No.7 Devil’s Delight (two coats). I like the formula of this polish. It’s perfect. And the No.7 brush (wide, flat) is great too.

If you know me, you know I can’t just paint my nails and leave it at that. And I think the Nail Art Challenge is worthy of more than just plain red nails.

So I decided to stamp! I chose a cute image from Pueen’s 77 plate (which is part of Pueen’s Buffet Leisure collection). The white stamping polish is Essence’s fantastic Stampy Polish.

I’m pleased with this mani and I really like the red and white colour combination. Do you agree? Feel free to let me know what you think. Oh, and the next mani might be ‘inspired by fashion’ (I’m thinking of something…) so let’s see how it goes! And thanks for reading!

Nail Of The Day – Orly Terra Mauve & Stamping With Pueen 77

Orly Terracotta Pueen 77Hi there! This year I forgot to do a sweet love-themed mani for Valentine’s Day. But now, a few months later, I had an idea for a cute heart-themed mani.

At first I painted my nails with Orly Terra Mauve – a sensationally beautiful colour.

I went through my stamping plates and I chose Pueen‘s 77 plate from Pueen’s Buffet Leisure collection.

I didn’t want to stamp with white this time, so I checked my non-stamping polishes that stamp brilliantly on darker colours stash.

I picked Essence Wave Goddess 01 – a limited edition pink polish from last year (or even 2014) and then I stamped away. 🙂

This mani turned out quite nice, I think. I’m really happy with the colours and the images. Feel free to let me know what you think. And thank you for stopping by! 🙂
