Nail Of The Day – Astor Perfect Stay Gel Shine 604 Just Fabulous, Rimmel 60 Seconds 507 Round And Round In Circles, Revlon Shining Strength & Stamping With Pueen 83

Hi there! This is the 7th Nail Of The Day post this week, so Nail Week is now over!

For this mani I painted my nails with Astor Perfect Stay Gel Shine 604 Just Fabulous (pinkies, ring fingers, 2 coats) and Rimmel 60 Seconds 507 Round And Round In Circles (middle and index fingers, thumbs, 2 coats).

To be honest, the yellow polish could have used another coat, but instead of that I decided to use a random light blue(ish) polish and a small piece of a sponge to add a few blobs of colour.

Then I used Revlon Shining Strength (a.k.a. Revlon 261 Sparkling) to add some sparkle to the ring fingers and pinkies.

And I used Pueen‘s 83 plate (which is part of Pueen’s Buffet Leisure collection) and Rimmel 60 Seconds 820 Hot Black To Go for the images.

I didn’t love the mani, but I think it was nice enough. I was also happy to find out how beautiful Revlon Shining Strength is. 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Revlon Colorstay 090 Sorbet, Collection 2000 Hot Looks 30 Sherbet Lemons, Rimmel Lycra Pro 322 Sweet ‘N’ Spicy & Stamping With Pueen 79

Hi there! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon Colorstay 090 Sorbet. I knew I wanted to stamp, but I found the base colour a little boring, so I decided to add some colour.

I used a small piece of a make-up wedge to sponge yellow and red blobs of colour onto my nails. The 2 colour polishes that I used were Collection 2000 Hot Looks 30 Sherbet Lemons and Rimmel Lycra Pro 322 Sweet ‘N’ Spicy.

Then I stamped! I used Pueen‘s 79 plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Buffet Leisure collection) and a home-made black polish.

I really liked this mani. It doesn’t look super cool when you stare at it from up close, but in real life it looked great.

Have you ever applied nail polish with a make-up wedge or sponge? If so, how did it turn out? And if not, why not?! 😜 Feel free to comment. And thanks for reading!

Nail Of The Day – Revlon Colorstay 170 Coastal Surf & Stamping With Pueen 79

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I did not too long ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon Colorstay 270 Coastal Surf (2 coats). This is a great polish. I love the colour and the formula.

I used Pueen‘s 79 stamping plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Buffet Leisure collection).

The stamping polish I used is a mix of a number of near-empty polishes. You could say it’s my very own home-made stamping polish! 😋

I like how this mani turned out. I love the blue base, and the image came out much prettier than expected. Do you like blue nails? What about stamping?

And what polish are you wearing at the moment? Feel free to comment. And thanks for reading!

Nail Of The Day – Revlon Colorstay 170 Coastal Surf, Revlon Colorstay 290 Midnight, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear 235 Supernova & Stamping With Pueen 81

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I did recently.

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon Colorstay 170 Coastal Surf (middle and ring fingers, 2 coats) and Revlon Colorstay 290 Midnight (pinkies, index fingers, thumbs, 2 coats).

The glitter polish I used is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear 235 Supernova.

I also used Pueen‘s 81 stamping plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Buffet Leisure collection). The dark blue polish I stamped with is Filthy Gorgeous Midnight.

I think this mani was quite alright. For some reason I couldn’t make the glitter pop in the photos, but in real life it looked cute and sparkly!

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 702 Marshmallow Heaven, Astor Perfect Stay Velvet Effect 610 Sensual Candle & Stamping With Pueen 81

Hi there! I have a Nail Of The Day post for you today!

For this mani I painted my nails with Astor Perfect Stay Smooth Velvet Effect 610 Sensual Candle (2 coats, pinkies, index fingers, thumbs) and Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 702 Marshmallow Heaven (2 coats, ring and middle fingers).

The Astor polish is truly unique. It doesn’t really feel like velvet, but it feels sensationally smooth.

I used Pueen‘s 81 plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Buffet Leisure collection). I tend to ignore stamping plates with funny shapes, but I’m glad I gave this one a try. I like the image! Oh, and I stamped with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri 370 Uptempo Plum. 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel Lycra Pro 425 My Denim, Rimmel 60 Seconds 503 Mind The Gap, Victoria, Orly Liquid Vinyl & Stamping With Pueen 55 / A-Z Nail Art Challenge I – Inspired By A Colour

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I did a while back. I really liked this mani, so I’m not sure why I left it for so long…

Anyway, for this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel Lycra Pro 425 My Denim (pinkies, index fingers, thumbs), Rimmel 60 Seconds 503 Mind The Gap, Victoria (ring fingers), and Orly Liquid Vinyl (middle fingers).

I used Orly Snow Cone (pinkies, index fingers, thumbs), Orly Liquid Vinyl (ring fingers) and Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure 310 Gilty Pleasure (middle fingers) as my stamping colours.

The stamping plate I used is Pueen’s 55 plate which is part of Pueen’s Buffet Leisure collection.

This mani is my interpretation of the Inspired By A Colour challenge which is part of the A-Z Nail Art Challenge. The colour in question is, obviously, blue. 🙂

How do you like this mani? Feel free to comment. And thanks for reading!

Nail Of The Day – Gosh 549 Holographic Hero & Stamping With Pueen 76 / A-Z Nail Art Challenge H-Holo

Hi there! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

This mani is another one that I did for the A-Z Nail Art Challenge. And I’m filing this one under H – Holo.

For this mani I painted my nails with Gosh 549 Holographic Hero (2 coats). This holo polish is not great, but holo polishes aren’t readily available in the UK, so I’m actually happy to have this one (and several back-up bottles) in my stash.

I also did a little stamping – and I used Pueen’s 76 plate (which is part of Pueen’s Buffet Leisure collection) and Rimmel 60 Seconds 820 Hot Black To Go for that. 🙂

I think this mani looks quite nice. Do you agree? Feel free to comment. And thanks for reading!

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro 430 Black Satin, Barry M Bubblegum, MUA Whitewash & Revlon Colorstay 170 Coastal Surf / A-Z Nail Art Challenge F – Fuzzy Topper

Hi there! Today’s post is about the first mani I did for the A-Z Nail Art Challenge. This challenge is called Fuzzy Topper. Cute, eh?

I have quite a few ‘fuzzy toppers’. But, unfortunately, I rarely use them. So this challenge provides the perfect opportunity to sport one of those fuzzy toppers!

And these are the nail polishes that I used:
Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro 430 Black Satin (base colour, pinkies, index fingers, thumbs),
Barry M Bubblegum (fuzzy topper),
MUA Whitewash (base colour, ring fingers),
Revlon Colorstay 170 Coastal Surf (base colour, middle fingers).

I also stamped! I chose an ornamental floral image for my middle and ring fingers. The stamping plate I used is Pueen’s 74 plate (which is part of Pueen’s Buffet Leisure collection). The black polish I stamped with is Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 080 Black Cab.

How do you like this mani? I think it looks quite nice. And I think I did a good job with these 3 colours! Feel free to comment if you want to. And thanks for stopping by!

Nail Of The Day – Revlon 902 Craving Coral & Stamping With Pueen 73

Hi there! I think it’s time for another Nail Of The Day post. So here it is!

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon 902 Craving Coral. I don’t love the colour, but I bought the polish (years ago), so I have to use it every now and then. And that’s what I’m doing! 🙂

I used Essence’s White Stampy Polish to stamp a remotely floral (?) image onto my nails. Said image is featured on Pueen’s 73 plate (which is part of Pueen’s Stamping Buffet collection).

I didn’t love this mani. The images are far from perfect. This was 100% my fault because I was in a hurry. But in real life the mani didn’t look too bad. 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Ciaté Sugar Plum & Stamping With Pueen 74

Hi there! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with 1 coat of Ciaté’s Sugar Plum. And then I sponged on another coat of polish.

Why? Well, the bottle is almost empty, and it was next to impossible to get any polish out of the bottle.

There’s still a little polish left in the bottle, but it won’t be enough for a full mani. It might be enough for 2 accent nails – we’ll see… 🙂

Now back to this mani! The stamping plate I used is Pueen’s 74 plate (you’ve seen it before, and it’s part of Pueen’s Stamping Buffet collection).

And the black polish I stamped with is NYC In A Minute 001 Evil.

I’m really happy with this mani. What do you think? Feel free to comment. And thanks for stopping by! I appreciate it. 🙂
