Nail Of The Day – Ciaté Cabaret & Foils

Hi there! Today’s post is a Nail Of The Day post.

For this mani, which I did about 2 weeks ago, I painted my nails with Ciate Cabaret (2 coats).

I’m not the biggest Ciaté fan, but this colour is really lovely. This particular bottle is finished now – well, there’s about 1ml of goopy polish left, but I can’t do anything with it. 🤷‍♀️

For the colourful accents I used some of my leftover rainbow foil.

I really liked this mani. I even filled in the tips and applied top coat daily to make the mani last longer!

Nail Of The Day – NYC In A Minute 001 Evil & Foils

Hi there! I haven’t done Nail Of The Day posts in ages, and my nails are still a bit meh, but today’s post is about a mani from last week.

For this mani I painted my nails with NYC In A Minute 001 Evil (2 coats). This is a decent black polish. It’s almost a one-coater, so it works really well as a stamping polish too.

For the colourful accents I used some leftover rainbow foil. If you’re wondering about how to do foil manis at home, I’ve done a super easy to follow pictorial and there are some tips and tricks too!

What colour are your nails at the moment? Feel free to let me know via the comments, and thanks for reading!

Nail Of The Day – Essence Colour Boost 11 Instant Match & Rainbow Foils

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I did a little while ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Essence Colour Boost 11 Instant Match (1 coat). Essence’s Colour Boost polishes are one-coaters. I bought them (yes, all the colours) because I thought they’d make great stamping polishes, but I also use them when I don’t have the time to wait for multiple coats of polish to dry.

This time I also used rainbow foils to add a pop of colour to the blue nails.

The mani looked great in real life, and I wish I had been able to capture its beauty. But there’s just not enough daylight this time of year…

Nail Of The Day – Essence Colour Boost 04 Instant Love & Rainbow Foils

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I did ages ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Essence Colour Boost 04 Instant Love (1 coat). This polish is part of a “1 Coat & Go” collection which consists of 10 polishes. I bought them all because I thought they’d make great stamping polishes – and I was right!

But Essence discontinued the entire collection quite soon after the launch. My guess is they realised the polishes were simply too good to be sold for £1.80 a piece.

Anyhoo… for the colourful accents I used a small piece of leftover rainbow foil. I liked the mani a lot, and I can’t wait to do more foil manis soon!

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel 60 Seconds 220 Sage All The Rage & Rainbow Foils

Hi there! Happy Monday! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel 60 Seconds 220 Sage All The Rage (2 coats).

I’m not a fan of nothing colours like this one, but I’ve know for a while that these nothing colours are usually great background colours for stamping and other nail art.

So I decided to use some leftover rainbow foil for colourful accents – and this worked out brilliantly.

I liked this mani a lot = and that’s because of the rainbow foils. Yes, the photos isn’t the greatest, but the mani looked very cute in real life!

Nail Of The Day – Revlon Colorstay 290 Midnight & Foils

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I did just last month. It’s not the most spectacular mani, and I’ve noticed that the middle finger looks weird in the photo (like there’s a dent in the nail), but it’s too late to take new photos now…

OK, for this mani I painted my nails with Revlon Colorstay 290 Midnight (1 coat). I like this polish a lot. The colour is gorgeous!

For the colourful effect I used rainbow foils. If you’re wondering how do to foil nails, check out this pictorial. Foil nails are incredibly easy to do!

As I said earlier, this mani was rather unspectacular. I didn’t love it. But it was alright for a few days.
