Nail Of The Day – Revlon Colorstay 260 Bold Sangria & Gold Foils

Hi there! Here’s another short Nail Of The Day post.

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon Colorstay 260 Bold Sangria (2 coats).

This is a wonderful polish. I love everything about it – the colour, the formula, the flat brush. Great stuff, Revlon!

I thought that gold foils would look great with the purple base, so I applied small pieces of foil to my nails. Then I applied one coat of clear polish – and that was already it!

I really like this mani because purple and gold always look great together. I also like that no two nails looked the same.

Nail Of The Day – Feat. Revlon, Ciaté, MUA & Manhattan / A-Z Nail Art Challenge G-Galaxies

Hi there! Today’s Nail Of The Day post is about the Galaxies mani that I did for the A-Z Nail Art Challenge.

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon Colorstay 260 Bold Sangria.

And then I used small pieces of a retired make-up sponge to apply a number of different nail polishes.

I used these colours: MUA White Wash (white), Revlon Colorstay 040 Provence (pale lavender) & Manhattan Buffalo 18 (milky lilac).

And then I just applied one coat of Ciaté Confetti, which is a beautiful silver holo glitter topper.

I think this mani turned out great. I love it! What do you think? Feel free to get in touch via the comments. And thanks for reading! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Halloween Nail Art Ideas / Revlon Colorstay 260 Bold Sangria & Stamping

Hi there! I’ve got another Nail Of The Day post for you today. 🙂

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon Colorstay 260 Bold Sangria. I really like this polish. It’s the most beautiful dark purple colour.

I also used my home-made orange stamping polish and a number of different stamping plates with bat images.

I think this mani turned out OK. In real life it looked much better than it does in the picture. The orange bats looked almost flawless.

How do you like the idea of orange bats on a purple base? Feel free to comment if you want to. And thanks for stopping by!

Nail Of The Day – MUA White Wash & Stamping With Revlon Colorstay 260 Bold Sangria & JQ43 / Nail Art Challenge #20 Water Marble (Cheat)

Hi there! Today’s post is about another nail art challenge that I’ve completed. Well, I haven’t done what I was supposed to do, but since I’m doing the 31 Days Nail Art Challenge for no one but myself, I’m happy to bend the rules. 🙂

Alrighty! For challenge #20 Water Marble I should have done a water marble mani. However, the JQ 43 stamping plate, which I’ve had for ages, features an image that looks like a water marble. So I gave it a try.

And this is the result! Does this mani look like a water marble mani? Remotely. But that’s good enough for me! Challenge completed!

Which products did I use? The white base colour is MUA White Wash. The stamping colour is Revlon Colorstay 260 Bold Sangria. The stamping plate is an unbranded one – it’s just called JQ 43.

Any comments? Feel free to get in touch if you want to. And thanks for reading!

Nail Of The Day – Revlon 260 Bold Sangria & Stamping With Pueen 51

uploadHi there! Today’s post is the last post this week – so it’s the last post this nail week.

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon 260 Bold Sangria (2 coats). I think Bold Sangria is one of the best dark purple polishes out there. Great quality, lovely shade! Thanks, Revlon!

And I used Essence’s white stamping polish and Pueen’s 51 plate (which is part of Pueen’s Stamping Buffet collection) to stamp floral images onto my nails.

I didn’t like this mani because I managed to smudge all the images on my right hand. I think I moisturised my hands too soon after cleaning up around the nails with nail polish remover…

However, in real life the mistakes were hardly visible. Well, in real life no one stares at my nails and no one’s looking for mistakes. 😉 And I did get a few compliments on this mani, so it wasn’t too bad.

Like I said, this is the last nail post this nail week. I haven’t done a weekly recap post today, so if you think you’ve missed a post or if you’d like to see the other manis I’ve written about this week (or ever…), click here and scroll down. I’m back with a “regular” post tomorrow. So in the meantime… Happy Sunday!
