Revlon Custom Eyes 020 Naturally Glamorous

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Revlon Custom Eyes 020 Naturally Glamorous eye shadow compact that I found in the bargain bin – I believe it was £1.99. I liked the neutral colours, and I thought they would suit me. So I gave these eyeshadows a try.

The shades are (from left to right) a matte black-tinted dark brown, a metallic golden topaz shade, a shimmery beige, a metallic teddy brown, and a gold-tinted light brown.

When I did the swatches, I was blown away. These eyeshadows are highly pigmented, buttery and so beautiful! I’ve worn them in all different kinds of combinations already, and I love the looks I can create with this compact.

This little compact was one of the biggest positive surprises of the year so far. Based on my experience, I’d recommend it! Revlon Custom Eyes 020 Naturally Glamorous is discontinued, but you might be able to find it online or in a drugstore bargain bin.

Nail Of The Day – Revlon 040 Fuchsia Fever, Ciaté Showtime & Stamping With Maniology BM-XL217

Hi there! Today’s post is a Nail Of The Day post.

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon 040 Fuchsia Fever (thumbs, index and middle fingers). This is a great polish. I love the colour, and I’m obsessed with the formula and the quick drying time.

For the images I used my Maniology (formerly Bundle Monster) BL-XL217 stamping plate.

The black polish I stamped with is Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto.

On the ring fingers and pinkies I used Ciaté Showtime (3 coats).

I liked the girly look of this mani. However, I didn’t enjoy removing the glitter. It’s normal for glitter top coats and polishes to be a bit more difficult to remove than regular nail polish, but this glitter polish was an absolute nightmare. I think I might have buy peel-off base coat (in case I’ll ever wear this glitter polish again).

Nail Of The Day – Revlon Top Speed 570 Vintage & Essence Glamaxy Top Coat 34 Glamaxy Far Far Away (Photo Fail)

Hi there! Today’s post is about the mani I wore over the New Year’s weekend.

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon Top Speed 570 Vintage (2 coats). I like this nail polish a lot. It’s a gorgeous red – it’s dark with a touch of wine and plum – it’s so beautiful!

The flakie top coat I used is Essence Glamaxy Top Coat 34 Glamaxy Far Far Away (1 coat).

This top coat is stunning. It’s a shame it doesn’t look great in the photo. Unfortunately, there was hardly any natural light, and this top coat doesn’t photgraph well under artificial light.

But the mani looked great in real life. I’ll redo it in the spring to show off the beautiful top coat in all its glory.

Nail Of The Day – Revlon Matte Suede 507 Fire Fox & Stamping With Pict You PY-J028

Hi there! Today’s post is about this mani I did just a few days ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon Matte Suede 507 Fire Fox. I’m not a fan of matte polishes, but I like this bright red shade. And with the help of a regular top coat or clear polish, even the dullest matte polish becomes nice and shiny.

For the images I used the amazing Pict You PY-J028 stamping plate.

The polish I stamped with is Revlon Brilliant Strength 110 Hypnotize.

I liked the look of this mani. And yes, the christmassey look was intentional. 🎅

Nail Of The Day – Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear 440 Pinch Of Punch & Stamping With Maniology Secret Garden BM 718

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I did last week.

For this mani I painted my nails with Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear 440 Pinch Of Punch (2 coats).

This polish is surprisingly nice. When I did the first coat, the coverage was terrible, and I thought I might need to do 4 coats. So I was very happy when my nails looked perfect after I applied the 2nd coat.

For the images I used my Maniology Secret Garden BM 718 stamping plate.

The black polish I stamped with is Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto.

Nail Of The Day – Manhattan Lotus Effect Nail Polish 96S & Stamping With Pict You PY-J034

Hi there! Today’s post is a Nail Of The Day post.

For this mani I painted my nails with Manhattan Lotus Effect Nail Polish 96S (2 coats). This is a turquoise shade. It’s not the most special polish, but a decent one nonetheless.

For the images I used my Pict You PY-034 stamping plate. The black polish I stamped with is Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto.

I liked this mani a lot. I love marble and swirly type of manis, and this one fits right in. I’m also glad I rediscovered this stamping plate. It got lost in my stash, but now that it’s back, it’ll be used again soon!

Nail Of The Day – Barry M Molten Metal Holographic Rocket & Stamping With MoYou London Sailor 07

Hi there! I hope you had a great weekend! Today’s post is a Nail Of The Day post.

For this mani I painted my nails with Barry M Molten Metal Holographic Rocket (2 coats). This is such a beautiful holographic polish. It looks amazing when the light hits it.

For the images I used my MoYou London Sailor 07 stamping plate and Revlon Colourstay 270 Stiletto.

Most of the images looked really nice and clear – apart from the image on the middle finger. Ah well, there’s always something… but it was a minor thing, and I still liked this mani!

Hi there! Today’s post is a Nail Of The Day post.

For this mani I painted my nails with NYC In A Minute 900 Wonder Purple (2 easy coats).

This is (was) one of my favourite nail polishes ever, but it’s finished now. I’m glad I was able to get one more quality mani out of the bottle.

The black polish I stamped with is the wonderful Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto.
