Nail Of The Day – Rimmel Salon Pro 361 Acid House & Barry M Jingle Bells

Hi there! This week’s going to be Nail Week. This means that I’ll be posting about manis only.

I’m starting with this mani which I did before Christmas but somehow forgot to post about. Oops!

For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel Salon Pro 361 Acid House (2 coats).

This is a gorgeous dark green with micro-shimmer. It’s particularly pretty because it’s not brush-strokey at all. Great stuff, Rimmel!

The glitter top coat I used is the wonderful Barry M Jingle Bells. It features gold glitter in various shapes and sizes, as well as red glitter in the shape of winter boots. How cute is this glitter top coat?! 😍

I liked this mani a lot, but I didn’t like any of the photos I took. It was a grey and cloudy day with little natural light, and this photo (taken indoors with plenty of artificial light) was the best of the countless ones I took. In a nutshell, my cuticles look great, but the actual mani doesn’t look very crisp. Ah well…

Nail Of The Day – Astor Fashion Studio Acid Drop & Stamping With Pueen 74

Hi there! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with Astor Fashion Studio 006 Acid Drop (2 coats).

I like this polish! The cucumber shade looks fresh (great for spring and summer manis), and I like the micro-shimmer.

I also think this is a good polish. It dries quickly and it’s perfect in 2 coats – I didn’t expect this because of the light colour, but I’m not complaining. 😉

I stamped with Rimmel Salon Pro 361 Acid House. And the stamping plate I used is Pueen‘s 74 plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Buffet Leisure collection.

I think this mani looks alright. The images on the index and ring fingers didn’t stamp perfectly (it’s the same on my left hand). But all in all, I think this is a nice little mani that’s perfect to welcome spring!

What do you think of green manis? Feel free to comment. And thanks for reading!
