Nail Of The Day – Rimmel Salon Pro 312 Ultra Violet, Rimmel Lycra Pro 431 Stormy Skies, Miss Sporty Sparkle Touch 889 & Stamping With Pueen 99

Hi there! This post is about a mani I did a few weeks ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel Lycra Pro 431 Stormy Skies (1 coat, middle and index fingers, thumbs) and Rimmel Salon Pro 312 Ultra Violet (2 coats, pinkies, ring fingers).

I used Miss Sporty Sparkle Touch 889 to add a touch of glitter to the purple nails.

For the images on the blue(ish) nails I used Pueen‘s 99 plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Make Your Day stamping plate collection). The golden polish I stamped with is the sensational Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure 819 Coat Of Arms.

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel Salon Pro 312 Ultra Violet & Stamping With MoYou London Suki 14

Hi there! I hope you had a good weekend. 🙂

I have a Nail Of The Day post for you today. For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel Salon Pro 312 Ultra Violet (2 coats).

This kind of nail colour (which I like to call milky purple) is my favourite nail colour!

The stamping plate I used it MoYou London‘s Suki 14 plate. I really like the image that I stamped on the pinkies and middle fingers!

The black polish I stamped with is Rimmel 60 Seconds 820 Hot Black To Go.

Whilst this wasn’t the most spectacular mani, I did like the look of it!

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel Salon Pro 312 Ultra Violet & Rimmel Glitter Bomb 020 Midnight Mistletoe

Rimmel Ultra Violet PLUS Rimmel Midnight MistletoeHi there! Today’s NOTD is a bit of an odd one. Well, this is what happened when I couldn’t think up any cute colour/glitter combo and asked Mr Strawberryblonde for help. 🙂

I applied two coats of Rimmel Salon Pro 312 Ultra Violet on top of a strengthening base coat; Ultra Violet is one of my favourites. I love the colour and the formula is great too.

Now here’s how and where it went wrong: Once the second coat of Ultra Violet had dried, I applied one coat of Rimmel Glitter Bomb 020 Midnight Mistletoe, a Christmas glitter topper.

I didn’t like the combo at all, but one of the girls at work complimented me on the ‘cute’ mani. I’m glad my colleague liked the mani, but I won’t use these two polishes together again.
