Nivea Shower Creams – Free Time & Harmony Time

Hi there! Today’s post is about Nivea‘s Free Time and Harmony Time Shower Creams. I’ve had these 2 products in my stash for quite some time, and I’ve finally gotten around to giving them a try.

Nivea Free Time smells wonderfully refreshing. The aloe and star fruit fragrance is gorgeous. I also love the formula because it’s not drying at all. Well done, Nivea!
Nivea Shower 1
Nivea Harmony Time was a nice surprise. I thought it would have a random rose scent, but it smells of sweet almond milk. It’s absolutely lovely! As expected, the shower cream formula is gentle on my dry and moody skin.

I think Nivea did a great job with these shower creams. I’ll continue to use them, and I can definitely see myself repurchasing both shower creams. Nivea Free Time and Harmony Time Shower Creams are available as 250ml each. I paid £1 each (Poundland).

Radox Brazilian Fusion and Eastern Spirit

Hi there! Today’s post is about two Radox shower gels I picked up at a bargain store – Radox Brazilian Fusion with dragonfruit and camu camu berry, and Radox Eastern Spirit with lotus flower and orange blossom.

Radox Brazilian Fusion with dragonfruit and camu camu berry is more of a shower cream than a shower gel. My dry skin loves it! But the fragrance isn’t what I expected. I thought it would smell somewhat tropical or exotic, but it’s more like an old-fashioned white flower fragrance. I do like it, but I don’t love it. And obviously this shower gel isn’t as ‘summery’ as I’d hoped.
Radox Shower 01
Radox Eastern Spirit with lotus flower and orange blossom is just as I remember it. I really like the feminine and exotic floral fragrance. It’s lovely. And just like Brazilian Fusion, Eastern Spirit is more of a shower cream than a shower gel which is very nice!

Whilst I’m not entirely sure about Eastern Spirit (aka Radox Feel Enchanted – which I spotted at my local Sainsbury’s store very recently), I’m pretty sure Brazilian Fusion has been discontinued. But I reckon quite a few bargain stores still have it. I bought both shower gels for £1 each (at my local Poundstretcher store, I believe).

Palmolive Naturals Shower Milk Ultra Moisturization, Pampering Touch and Smooth Delight

Hi there! Since I enjoy so many Palmolive products, I thought I’d tell you about three more favourites of mine: Palmolive Ultra Moisturisation with Olive and Moisturising Milk, Palmolive Pampering Touch with Coconut and Moisturising Milk, and Palmolive Smooth Delight with Macadamia Oil, Cocoa and, of course, Moisturising Milk.
Palmolive shower milk
The olive shower cream is addictive – in a good way. I love the warm, yet green fragrance, and I think this shower gel is perfect for all seasons. It’s green enough to feel refreshing on a warm summer day, but it’s also rich and comforting on a wintry day. Lovely!

The coconut shower cream smells absolutely divine. I think it doesn’t smell like coconut at all – but that’s a good thing in my book. 🙂 I can’t describe the fragrance but I’d say it’s tropical, warm, sensual and fresh – all at the same time. Perfect!

The macadamia shower cream is a new favourite of mine. It smells warm, sweet and nutty – almost like a cake or a dessert. The fragrance is absolutely delicious!

I will definitely buy all of these shower creams again. The fragrances make me happy, and the moisturising formula of Palmolive’s shower creams is soft and gentle to my skin. Palmolive Ultra Moisturisation, Palmolive Pampering Touch, and Palmolive Smooth Delight are usually about £2 each, but there’s always a half price offer somewhere. 🙂

Imperial Leather Guava & Lotus Flower, Blackberry Blossom & Wild Fig, Grapefruit & Pomegranate

Hi there! Some of you know that I’m a serious toiletries hoarder. However, I’m doing my best to use up as much ‘old stock’ as possible. And that’s why today’s post is about Imperial Leather Tempting Shower Creme with Guava and Lotus Flower, Bewitching Shower Creme with Blackberry Blossom and Wild Fig and Revitalising Grapefruit & Pomegranate Shower Cream. Now that’s a lot of bold print, so let’s get started with the actual review.
Imperial Leather Shower
Guava & Lotus Flower is not my favourite because the scent is a tad too marine and too masculine for my taste. It’s not bad, it’s just that the fragrance doesn’t tickle my fancy. However, this shower cream feels surprisingly moisturising and it is very gentle to the skin.

Blackberry Blossom & Wild Fig smells quite strongly of figs. The warm and sweet fragrance is not for everybody (my husband hates it), but I think Imperial Leather managed to create a very authentic fig scent. This shower cream is just as moisturising as the guava & lotus flower one, but it gets an extra star for being pretty. Why is that? This shower cream contains micro shimmer – bewitching indeed!

Grapefruit & Pomegranate is a nice one. 🙂 I love grapefruits and blood oranges, so I had to have this shower gel. The scent is very realistic and I like it. However, I would have loved it if Imperial Leather had left out the pomegranate.

I believe that these three shower creams have been discontinued. The guava & lotus flower and grapefruit & pomegranate shower creams were briefly available in Imperial Leather’s new slim bottles, but I haven’t seen them in a while. The blackberry blossom & wild fig fragrance is now available as Foamburst.

Superdrug Orange & Satsuma Shower Gel, Dragonfruit & Vanilla Shower Cream

Hi! A couple of weeks ago the weather changed from spring-like to rainy, cold and grey again.I wanted a little pick-me-up, just something cheap to cheer me up. So I bought these two body washes: Superdrug Orange & Satsuma Shower Gel and Dragonfruit & Vanilla Shower Cream.

The Orange & Satsuma shower gel is refreshing and energising and its sunny and summery scent is just what I wanted. I can see this one becoming a favourite for the summer months ahead.

I was quite pleased with the Dragonfruit & Vanilla shower cream as well. Its scent reminds me of fruity yoghurt. Yum! It’s also quite gentle on the skin. And I’ll be buying this one again for sure.

Superdrug does a 2 for £1.70 deal at the moment – so I will be trying some of the other scents (lemon, shea butter, lime etc…) too.
