Hi there! Welcome to part 2 of my Best Of Beauty 2019 round-up. This post is about the skin care products I loved the most in 2019, and it’s about everything except face masks since these were covered in yesterday’s pots. Alrighty, onto the skin care favourites!

Boots’ All Bright Hydrating Day Cream with SPF 15 is amazing for very dry skin!

Boots Botanics All Bright Gentle Cleansing Cream & Cleansing Toner

Boots’ All Bright facial cleansing products are fantastic!

Boots No 7 Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Serum, Eye Cream, Protect & Perfect Lip Care

No 7 is Boots’ premium skin care range for a reason. These products are outstanding!

Boots No 7 Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Day Cream, Night Cream

More amazing products from Boots! 🥰

Balance Active Formula Vitamin C Brightening Serum

This is the best vitamin C serum you can buy for under £3!

Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Acid Daily Cleansing Pads

These cleansing pads are sensational. I love them!

Superdrug Deep Action Extreme Skin Brightening Solution
Superdrug B. Vitalised Vitamin Facial Spritz

Superdrug knocked it out of the park with this skin brightening solution! And their vitamin facial spritz is simply awesome!

Poundland #6 Anti-Ageing Eye Cream

Poundland did an amazing job with this £1 eye cream!

The Crème Shop Depuffing & Anti-Inflammatory Overnight Gel Mask With Rose Oil

I enjoyed The Crème Shop’s Overnight Gel Mask very much!

Yves Rocher Nutritive Végétal Velvety Cleansing Milk
Skin Assistant Collagen Morning Glow Serum

Yves Rocher’s cleansing milk is simply wonderful. And Skin Assistant’s serum was a revelation!

These are the best skin care products that I came across in 2019! Have you tried any of these products or would you like to give them a try? If there’s anything you’d recommend, please do let me know via the comments!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you’re back tomorrow when I’ll publish part 3 of my 2019 beauty favourites – tomorrow’s post is about everything not covered so far, and that’s fragrances and beauty stuff for hair, body and lips.

Empties – October 2019

Hi there! It’s a new day and a new month (Hello November!) – so today’s post is about all the products I said goodbye to in October. As always, I used a few single-use face mask, but I didn’t keep the empty sachets. If you’re interested in my latest face mask finds, click here. Now, let’s focus on the bigger bottles and tubs. 🙂

1 Boots Botanics All Bright Hydrating Night Cream – I had to bin this product because it caused me physical harm. 😲

2 Skin Care Chemist Macadamia Beauty Oil – this is a lovely oil. Not too heavy, suitable for warmer weather as well. I’d like to repurchase it, but I’d like to try other oils from this brand first.

3 Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Perfume Roll-On – this is a nice fragrance, and I think this is already the 2nd blood orange roll-on I’ve emptied, but I won’t buy it again.

4 Boots No 7 Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Eye Cream – a lovely eye cream. I won’t pay full price for it (£18), but if it’s part of a reduced price gift set (I’m looking forward to the post-Christmas half price) sale, I’d be happy to have it again.

5 Classics Nail Polish Remover – my go-to nail polish remover. Priced at £1 for 400ml it’s a steal!

6 Body-X Endless Weekend Shower Gel – my husband and I enjoyed this shower gel, so this is a shared empty. I’d like to repurchase it!

7 Treacle Moon One Ginger Morning Shower & Bath Gel – another shower gel my husband and I enjoyed, and yes, this one’s another shared empty. I wouldn’t mind picking it up again next summer.

8 Manhattan Nail Whitener – not bad, but not great. I’d pick it up again for £1, but I wouldn’t spend more than that.

9 Superdrug B. Soft Multi Acid Retexturising Pads – these pads are great, but I won’t buy them again because the ones from Superdrug’s Naturally Radiant range are a tad better.

10 Superdrug Sweet Snuggles Lip Balm – a nice vanilla lip balm. I have a few more of these.

11 Essence Eyeliner Pencil 01 Black – my go-to eyeliner. I have a few more of these.

12 The Body Shop Italian Summer Fig Shower Gel – this is a very nice shower gel. I’d buy it again but TBS discontinued it!

13 Herbal Essences Classics Silk N’ Shine Conditioner – this is the best conditioner EVER. It’s been discontinued but I’ve got plenty of backup!

14 Garnier Skin Active Nourishing Botanical Toner With Honey Flower – this is a below average toner, and I won’t repurchase it.

I thought October would be terrible for empties, but with a bit of focus and dedication I managed to empty 7 products over the last 7 days. Success! 💪 Have you tried any of these products? Or would you like to try them? What have you emptied recently? Feel free to comment, and thanks for reading!

Haul! New Stuff From Thierry Mugler, Cacharel, Bvlgari, Dead Sea Collection, Faith In Nature, etc.

Hi there! I haven’t done a haul post in a while – and I don’t even know why. But today’s post is about some of the stuff I picked up over the past few weeks.

Superdrug Vitamin C Revitalising Jam Face Mask & Superdrug Refreshing Cleansing Pads. These products are £4.99 each, but I picked them up when they were on a Buy 1 Get 2nd Half Price promotion.

Dead Sea Collection Anti Wrinkle Retinol Day & Night Creams. I think these ones were £4.99 each, but I’m not sure. Either way, I found these at Home Bargains.

Dead Sea Collection Anti Wrinkle Facial Serum. Also £4.99, I believe. Yes, Home Bargains. And there’s Bvlgari Omnia Paraiba£24 at Debenhams.

Palmolive Pampering Clay & Palmolive Purifying Clay shower gels for £1 each (Tesco).

Thierry Mugler Alien Fusion limited summer edition for £41 at Boots, and Cacharel Amor Amor for £31.50 at Debenhams.

Faith In Nature Lavender Soap & Faith In Nature Aloe Vera Soap. These were £1.50 each at Boots.

I’m looking forward to using these products. Apart from Amor Amor, all these products are new to me! Have you tried any of these products or would you like to try them? Feel free to comment, and thanks for reading!
