100% Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Fruity Shea Butter & Bamboo Exfoliating Face Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Superdrug Fruity Shea Butter & Bamboo Exfoliating Face Mask which I picked up just a few weeks ago. This face mask promises to give the skin a deep clean and to remove dead skin cells. You’re supposed to apply the mask to cleansed skin, leave it on for 10-15 minutes, then wash it off.

I’ve given this face mask a try, and I think it’s alright. It does exfoliate the skin well, and it has an enjoyable sweet scent. But I’ve had this mask before (Montagne Jeunesse, repackaged several times), and I’m starting to get tired of all the repackaging of old products and formulas.

If you’re interested, Superdrug Fruity Shea Butter & Bamboo Exfoliating Face Mask is available as a 10ml single-use face mask for 99p. This mask is also certified cruelty-free as it carries THE Leaping Bunny logo.

100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Vitamin E Moisture Boost Facial Serum

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Superdrug Vitamin E Moisture Boost Facial Serum which I’ve been using for 4 weeks now.

In addition to vitamin E, this serum contains a blend of natural fruit acids, vitamins A, B, F and H and horse chestnut extracts.

The serum claims to boost the skin’s hydration levels, to care for dry skin, to help stimulate cell renewal, and to shield the skin against environmental damange and premature ageing.

I think this serum is very good! I love the silky and nourishing formula. It’s absorbed almost instantly, and it feels amazing on my skin. It plays well with my eye cream, day and night cream, and with all of my other products, so no complaints here!

I’m also happy with how the serum makes my skin look – so dewy and refreshed! Wow! Definitely a step up from the Valjean Labs serum I finished last month.

Another thing I like is the iconic scent of the Vitamin E skin care range – so warm and tropical! I’m enjoying it so much! This serum is awesome, and I would recommend it!

Superdrug Vitamin E Moisture Boost Facial Serum is available as 50ml for £3.99. Superdrug often runs 3 for 2 promotions – which is when I bought the serum (along with 2 face mists). Also, this serum is 100% vegan and certified cruelty-free – it carries THE Leaping Bunny logo!

100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Vitamin C Detox Skincare Revitalising Jam Face Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Superdrug Vitamin C Detox Skincare Revitalising Jam Face Mask. This face mask contains sugar, orange peel, goji berry and kakadu plum, and it promises to exfoliate, to purify and to brighten the skin.

How does it work? Superdrug recommends you apply a thin layer to your face. Leave the mask on for 5-10 minutes, then splash some water onto your skin and massage the product all over your face in circular motions.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s fun to use! It’s really sticky – like jam indeed. It has a bit of a warming effect which I found unusual but not bad at all. The sugar can be seen and felt – it acts as an exfoliant – not when you apply the mask, but once you massage the product all over your face before you wash it off.

I’m not sure if the mask has an actual brightening effect, but based on my experience, I would recommend it. If you’re interested, Superdrug Vitamin C Detox Skincare Revitalising Jam Face Mask is available as 75ml for £4.99. I bought it alongside another product from the same product range when Superdrug ran a Buy 1 Get 2nd Half Price promotion. Also, this product is vegan and certified cruelty-free. It carries the Leaping Bunny! 😍

100% Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Antioxidant Fruit Sorbet Face Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Superdrug Antioxidant Fruit Sorbet Face Mask with raspberry, cranberry and red grape.

I used to like this mask (initially I didn’t cae for it, but it grew on me after a few uses). I haven’t used it in years though (the reason is my ever growing stash of face masks).

When I saw that Superdrug gave their own-brand face mask collection a make-over, I thought it’s time to repurchase a few of the masks I used to like or love.

This peel-off mask is supposed to left on for 10-20 minutes (until it’s dry). It promises to remove dead skin cells and to leave skin with a radiant glow.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s good. I enjoyed the fruity fragrance, and I’m happy to report that the mask left my skin feeling super soft. I will definitely buy this mask again – hopefully it won’t be another couple of years!

If you’re interested, Superdrug Antioxidant Fruit Sorbet Face Mask with raspberry, cranberry and red grape is available as a ml single-use mask for 99p. I bought 3 of these masks on a 3 for 2 offer.

100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Care Original Moisturising Shower Cream

Hi there! Happy Wednesday! Today’s post is about this Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Care Original Moisturising Shower Cream.

This shower cream promises a rich lather that gently cleanses the skin without drying it out. It also claims to leave skin feeling softer.

I’ve been using this shower gel on and off for 3 weeks now, and I’m happy to report that I’m enjoying it.

The fragrance could be stronger – it’s Superdrug’s iconic Vitamin E fragrance after all. But apart from this, I have no reason to complain.

This shower cream feels amazing on my skin, and I can confirm that it’s not drying at all. Great stuff!

Now I wouldn’t say that this shower cream is actually moisturising, but I do feel comfortable skipping my regular body lotion or cream every once in a while when I use this shower cream.

Based on my experience, I would recommend this shower cream. I know I’ll buy it again, and I’m very interested in trying the other fragrances from this line!

Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Care Original Moisturising Shower Cream is available as 250ml for £2.29. I think I paid £1.20 each (half price offer), but Superdrug also does Buy One Get One Free every now and then on these products. Also – this product is suitable for vegans, and it’s certified cruelty-free as it carries the Leaping Bunny logo!

100% Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Anti-Ageing Moisture Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Superdrug Anti-Ageing Moisture Mask. This face mask contains aloe vera leaf juice, a number of fruit extracts, as well as vitamin E.

This face mask promises to lock in moisture, to boost skin’s hydration levels, and to leave skin looking smoother, firmer and more radiant. This mask is easy to use. Cleanse your face, then apply the mask to your skin. Leave it on for 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s lovely! 😍 This face mask kept its promises – it was deeply hydrating, and it made my face smoother. Whilst the effect was short-lived (this was expected), I was (and still am) impressed with this cheap little mask!

Superdrug Anti-Ageing Moisture Mask is available as a single-use face mask for 99p. More good news – this face mask is certified cruelty-free. It carries the Leaping Bunny logo!

100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Charcoal Peel-Off Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about Superdrug‘s Charcoal Peel-Off Mask.

This face mask, which is aimed at people with normal skin, contains charcoal and witch hazel, and it promises to give pores a deep cleanse.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think that it’s alright. I can feel that it picks up dead skin cells, and that it makes my skin feel soft for a day. However, it didn’t do much else. I think this mask isn’t powerful enough to give pores a deep cleanse.

I don’t think I’ll buy this face mask again. If you’d like to try Superdrug‘s Charcoal Peel-Off Mask, it’s 99p at Superdrug (Superdrug runs 3 for 2 promotions on their face masks quite often).

This face mask is also 100% vegan and certified cruelty-free. It carries the Leaping Bunny logo!

100% Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Detoxifying Dead Sea Mineral Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is Superdrug‘s Detoxifying Dead Sea Mineral Mask.

This face mask is suitable for vegetarians, and it’s certified cruelty-free (it carries the Leaping Bunny logo). Cool!

What does it do? This mask, which is aimed at people with normal to dry skin, promises to cleanse and detoxify skin for a clearer and more vibrant complexion.

Does it work? To some extent it does. I’m happy that this mask cleanses my pores, but it doesn’t give my skin that deep clean feel that it gets from almost every other mask. And I don’t think that it makes my complexion look any different, so I have to say that it doesn’t give me any visible results.

Superdrug‘s Detoxifying Dead Sea Mineral Mask is available for 99p. Superdrug runs 3 for 2 promotions on own-brand face masks almost all the time.

100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Gentle Foaming Facial Wash For Dry Skin

Hi there! Today’s post is about Superdrug’s Gentle Foaming Facial Wash For Dry Skin. I paid £1.69 for the 150ml bottle.

It appears that this product has been discontinued recently. However, some stores may have stock left, so someone else might still benefit from a review.

Alrighty… this product promises to remove make-up and impurities and to leave skin feeling fresh and revitalised. It contains vitamin E as well as aloe vera, rose and camomile extracts.

On the back of the bottle it says… dispense 2 to 3 pumps of product into your hand and massage it all over your wet face. Then rinse with warm water… job done.

I’ve been using this product once or twice a week for a few weeks now, so here’s what I think.

First of all, there’s no need to be wasteful. 1 pump dispenses enough foam for my face and my neck. 👍

I love the formula. The foam feels soft and gentle – which is exactly what you want if you have moody skin.

Having said that, I’m satisfied that the foam cleanses my skin properly.

All in all, this is a nice face wash! It’s certified cruelty-free, and it’s suitable for vegans! If your local SD still has it, just pick it up! 🙂

100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Cucumber Peel-Off Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about Superdrug’s Cucumber Peel-Off Mask.

This face mask with cucumber extract is suitable for all skin types, and it promises a fresh and radiant complexion.

How does it work? This mask is like every other peel-off mask. You apply it to your face, leave it alone until it has dried (which takes about 15 minutes), and then you peel it off – gently! 🙂

What’s the result? I think this mask is really nice. It left my face looking refreshed and feeling soft. I also like the mild and pleasant cucumber fragrance, and I’m happy that this mask is easy (and fun) to peel off.

Superdrug’s Cucumber Peel-Off Mask is available as 75ml for £2.59. I bought 2 tubes (2 for £4 offer). This face mask is certified cruelty-free (it carries the Leaping Bunny logo), and it’s suitable for vegans!
