January Beauty Awards

Hi there! Since it’s the last day of the month, today’s post is about my favourite products in January. I’ve chosen my TOP 3 and the honourable mentions from all the products I reviewed this past month, and here they are…

3rd place – Garnier Ultimate Blends Body Soothing Hydrating Lotion With Delicate Oat
Runner-Up – Boots Sheet Mask With Added Dipeptide

Garnier’s oat body lotion is amazing. My skin’s enjoying it very much!
Boots did a fantastic job with their Dipeptide sheet mask. It’s wow!

WINNER – Superdrug Vitamin C Detox Skin Care Refreshing Cleansing Pads

Superdrug’s vegan and cruelty-free vitamin C cleansing pads are outstanding. They’re cleansing, brightening and safe for use around the eyes! Well done, Superdrug!

Onto the honourable mentions! I love Imperial Leather’s Spa shower creams. Nivea’s Fresh Skin face mask was lovely, and Primark’s Hydrate sheet mask was a very nice surprise!

Have you tried any of these products or would you like to try any of them? Which poducts are your latest beauty heroes? Feel free to get in touch via the comments. And thanks for stopping by! 😘

100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Vitamin C Detox Skin Care Refreshing Cleansing Pads

Hi there! Today’s post is about Superdrug‘s Vitamin C Detox Skin Care Refreshing Cleansing Pads with goji berry and kakadu plum extracts. These pads promise to cleanse skin and to remove impurities, excess oil and makeup – including mascara.

They also claim to leave skin feeling softer, smoother and visibly brighter. I’ve been using these pads on and off for over a month now, and here’s what I think!

I’m enjoying these cleansing pads very much! I use them instead of a toner, and I’m happy to report that they’re effective at removing all sorts of gunk, and that they’re gentle enough to be used around the eyes (which was expected since they claim to remove mascara).

These pads aren’t as powerful as Superdrug’s Glycolic Acid Pads, but these pads are perfect if you have sensitive or delicate skin that doesn’t tolerate AHAs, BHAs and the likes, or if you want an all-in-one pad that you can use around your eyes.

Superdrug‘s Vitamin C Detox Skin Care Refreshing Cleansing Pads (which are vegan and certified cruelty-free) are available for £4.99 (for 60 pads), and most of the time there’s also a Buy 1 Get 1 Half Price offer on Superdrug’s Vitamin C products!
