The Crème Shop Clean Up, Skin! Animated Koala Face Mask

Hi there! It’s been a while since I picked up this pack of 3 The Crème Shop Clean Up, Skin! Animated Koala Face Masks. I’ve finally gotten around to use these masks, and here’s what I think.

These masks are regular sheet masks. The instructions are fairly standard – cleanse your skin, place the mask on your face, leave it on for 15-20 minutes, then massage the leftover essence into your skin.

This mask promises to purify skin and to make pores appear smaller. On the back of the sachet it literally says “Say goodbye to gunk”. This sounds great!

A look further down on the back of the sachet shows that these masks contain bamboo charcoal powder as well as a number of plant extracts (with lemon fruit extract being one of them). I was really happy to read this because I love charcoal and all things citrus in skin care!

To make a long story short – this is an excellent face mask! Whilst the sheet mask itself is on the heavier side, the overall fit was quite good. I enjoyed the essence very much, and I’m happy to confirm that this mask does indeed shrink pores! On top of this, I was thrilled to find that this mask has a brightening effect, and that it made my skin glow! Truly fantastic stuff!

I would love to repurchase these face masks, and I would recommend them to everyone who wants sheet masks which have a toning and brightening effect. The Crème Shop Clean Up, Skin! Animated Koala Face Masks are available in packs of 3. I paid £4 for 3 masks at TK Maxx.

Empties – October 2018

Hi there! Today’s post is about all the products I emptied last month. As always, I used a number of single use face masks. Whilst I don’t keep the empty sachets, you can read about my latest face mask finds here. Onto the big empties!

1 Olay Anti-Wrinkle 2 in 1 Instant Hydration + Radiant Glow – this is a lovely moisturiser. I have a back-up bottle!

2 Essence Black Eyeliner Pencil – my favourite eyeliner pencil! I have several more in my stash and in my rota!

3 Sukin Super Greens Facial Recovery Serum – another great product from Sukin. I can definitely see myself buying this serum again.

4 Superdrug Naturally Radiant Flycolic Tonic – this is one of my new holy grail products!

Nivea Waterlily & Oil Shower Gel – this is a lovely shower gel. My husband used it too, so this is a shared empty. I hope I’ll find it again somewhere.

6 Herbal Essences Moisture Balance Conditioner – the best conditioner ever. It’s been discontinued, but I have an impressive number of back-up bottles (shampoo and conditioner).

7 The Body Shop Atlas Mountain Rose Body Lotion – I enjoyed using this body lotion while it lasted, but I won’t buy it again.

8 The Crème Shop Detoxing & Renewing Overnight Gel Mask With Charcoal – whilst I liked using this product, I don’t think I’ll buy it again. When the seasons changed, I noticed that I would need a more hydrating product for 9 months of the year.

9 Max Factor Pan Stik 25 Fair – this is my holy grail foundation!

10 My Little Pony Strawberry Lip Balm – a nice lip balm. It’s very hydrating, and it has a fruity taste. I have a few more My Little Pony branded lip balms.

11 Superdrug Lip Balm – a nice vanilla-flavoured lip balm. I have a few more of these.

12 Ekél Natural Clean Peeling Gel With Grape – this is a truly awesome product. I have 3 more of these with different fragrances (apple, apricot, rice bran).

13 My Little Pony Shower Gel – a nice shower gel. The melon fragrance is lovely. I might repurchase it at some point.

14 Radox Scent Touch Feel Lively Body Wash – I don’t like the fragrance of this one very much. I managed to use it up but I won’t buy it again.

15 Superdrug Cucumber Peel-Off Mask – this is a nice face mask. I enjoyed using it. I have a back-up!

16 Anna Sui Flight Of Fancy – this is a lovely fragrance. I can definitely see myself picking it up again!

I think I’ve done well again this month. I’m happy I managed to finish a lot of skin care products. What did you empty last month? Feel free to comment. And thanks for reading! 🙂

The Crème Shop Detoxing & Renewing Overnight Gel Mask With Charcoal

Hi there! Today’s post is about The Crème Shop‘s Detoxing & Renewing Overnight Gel Mask with Charcoal. The product promises to detox troubled or sensitive skin so that you can wake up with renewed and purified skin – even after a short night.

How does it work? On the back of the box it says… massage an even layer into your skin – right before bedtime. Focus on dry areas, and leave the product to do its magic overnight. And wake up to hydrated and brighter skin.

I really like the idea of an overnight gel mask. However, it’s just a fancy name for a night cream. 😉 Having said that, I love the gel formula! It’s awesome fun! I’m also satisfied that this product moisturises my skin without greasing it up, and that it helps maintain my skin’s brightness. Another thing I need to mention is the soapy fragrance – it’s clean and pleasant. Nice!

All in all, I think this is a nice and fun product, and I would recommend it to everyone who enjoys a good skin care product at a reasonable price. The Crème Shop‘s Detoxing & Renewing Overnight Gel Mask with Charcoal is available as 50ml for £4.99 (TK Maxx).

The Crème Shop Charcoal Face Mask

HI there! Today’s post is about The Crème Shop‘s Charcoal Face Mask. This face mask with activated charcoal promises to tighten pores and to combat acne by drawing toxins out of the skin. The product also claims to promote a balanced and flawless complexion.

You’re supposed to leave the mask on for 20 – 30 minutes, or until the mask is dry (which is what I do). Don’t wash it off! Just proceed with your normal skin care routine. 🙂

I’ve already used 2 of these masks, and I think they’re brilliant. They make my pores appear smaller and they really have a skin-balancing effect. I’ve also noticed that these masks soothe my skin, so I love to use them when my skin is moody. These masks really work, and I would recommend them to everyone!

The Crème Shop‘s Charcoal Face Masks are available as packs of 5 for £4.99 (TK Maxx).
