Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Organic Vanilla Shower Gel & Silky Lotion

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 vanilla-scented products I’m using at the moment – Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Organic Vanilla Shower Gel & Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Organic Vanilla Silky Lotion.

Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Organic Vanilla Shower Gel is simply lovely. It feels cleansing, yet not drying, and the sweet and warm vanilla fragrance is simply wonderful. I love it!
YR Vanilla
Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Organic Vanilla Silky Lotion is just as amazing as the shower gel. This body lotion is very hydrating, and the dreamy vanilla fragrance lingers quite a bit.

Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Organic Vanilla Shower Gel & Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Organic Vanilla Silky Lotion are available as 50ml (seasonal), 200ml and 400ml.

The Body Shop Frosted Plum, Vanilla Chai & Frosted Berries Shower Gels

Hi there! Today’s post is about 3 shower gels that I picked up during the winter sale in January – The Body Shop Frosted Plum, Vanilla Chai and Frosted Berries.

Let’s start with The Body Shop Frosted Plum! I think this is a pretty basic shower gel. It lathers up well, but it feels drying. And the plum fragrance is rather faint. I will finish this shower gel, but I wouldn’t repurchase it.

The Body Shop Vanilla Chai is very nice. I’d describe the fragrance as a boozy mix of herbal tea and vanilla. My husband likes this shower gel (which is actually more of a shower cream) too!

The Body Shop Frosted Berries is just as drying as the plum shower gel. The berry fragrance is super lovely, but, unfortunately, quite faint.

Based on my experience I would recommend the Vanilla Chai shower gel. I would repurchase this one if TBS brings it back for Christmas and if it’s on sale after Christmas. But I wouldn’t recommend or repurchase the other 2 shower gels.

The Body Shop Frosted Plum, Vanilla Chai and Frosted Berries are available as 250ml. I paid £2.50 each (winter sale).

Treacle Moon That Vanilla Moment Bath And Shower Gel

treacle-moon-that-vanilla-moment-2Hi there! Today’s post is about Treacle Moon’s That Vanilla Moment Bath And Shower Gel. My husband and I call it amazingness in a bottle. 🙂

I’ve been avoiding Treacle Moon products for years. I have nothing against the brand – au contraire! I do think the brand is actually very quirky.

However, I just somehow made the decision to ignore all things Treacle Moon. I guess it was some anti-hoarding impulse that kicked in… 😀

Anyway, now the shower gel is mine, and I’ve given it a try! I think this shower gel is lovely. The vanilla fragrance isn’t a pure vanilla. I think it’s a mix of vanilla and yoghurt with a hint of lemon.

This shower gel smells sweet and refreshing at the same time. And I love the non-drying formula. I’m very happy with this product!

I would recommend this shower gel to everyone! Treacle Moon That Vanilla Moment Bath And Shower Gel is available as 500ml for £3 (Waitrose, Tesco). I paid £2 (save 1/3 promotion).

Possibility Ultra Rich Shower Gel, Shampoo & Bubble Bath – Raspberry Pavlova and Vanilla Crème Brûlée

Hi there! Today’s post is about two shower and bath creams which I found at one of the bargain stores a while ago – Possibility Raspberry Pavlova Ultra Rich Shower Gel, Shampoo & Bubble Bath and Possibility Vanilla Crème Brûlée Ultra Rich Shower Gel, Shampoo & Bubble Bath. Whilst I don’t remember what I paid for these two 510ml bottles, I’m sure it was around £1 each. And now, let’s get to the products!
Possibility Raspberry and Vanilla
Possibility Raspberry Pavlova really smells like a raspberry pavlova. Whilst it’s not my favourite dessert (or fragrance), I have to say it’s quite authentic. If you love raspberries and / or raspberry pavlovas, this is the shower gel you’ve always wanted. Another plus: The formula is very moisturising!

Possibility Vanilla Crème Brûlée is very nice. I love the moisturising formula, and I think the fragrance is wonderfully natural. It smells of sweet and innocent vanilla and cream. It’s lovely! In fact, it’s that lovely that my husband already moved it closer to his shower gels. I think I’ll use it a few more times, and then I’ll let him have it. It’s not like I’m running out of shower gels any time soon! 😉

Possibility is a brand from the UK. Whilst the big 4 supermarket chains and the big 2 drugstore chains don’t stock Possibility products (yet), you can find them in bargain stores!

Creightons Vanilla & Macadamia Cocoon Shower Burst

Creightons Macadamia VanillaHello beauties. This is just a quick post about one of my latest favourites. It’s a shower gel – but it’s a heavenly one.

I found Creightons Vanilla & Macadamia Cocoon Shower Burst a couple of days ago when I paid my local Home Bargains a quick visit. I thought, hmmm, vanilla… macadamia… oh, and it’s made in England… I should give it a sniff.

Now what does it smell like? The scent reminded me of Werther’s Original cream candy. And was I in love right away? Yesss! So I had to try it the same day.

While the shower gel smells slightly different when wet, it still bursts with the sweetness of caramel, cream and vanilla and a hint of roasted macadamia nuts. Yummy!

I like the formula too. The shower gel is gentle, mild and it didn’t do my dry skin any harm at all.

I think Creightons Vanilla & Macadamia Cocoon Shower Burst could become a winter favourite for me. I will definitely buy it again.

Priced at 99p for a 250ml bottle it’s a steal! And I can’t wait to try more products from their line.
