Empties – March 2022

Hi there! Today’s post is about all the stuff I finished in March. Let’s take a look at all the products I said goodbye to. 🙂

1 Jil Sander Simply Elixir Rich Body Cream – a very nice body cream. This one was part of a gift set. I don’t think I’d buy a full-size body lotion, but if I can get my hands on another gift set for a decent price, I’d be happy to have it! By the way, if you’re looking for a lady’s version of Dior Fahrenheit, you might want to check out this fragrance!

2 Sanctuary Spa Hand Cream – just lovely! I have a few more tubes in my stash.

3 Patisserie De Bain Pineapple Paradise Hand Cream – actually a really good hand cream. Repurchase-worthy.

4 Olay Essentials Smoothing Face Scrub – a decent face scrub. I have at least one more tube in my stash.

5 Carex Nourishing Shower Cream – a nice shower cream. Repurchase-worthy!

6 Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Fragrance-Free Non-Greasy Lotion – a really good body lotion for very dry skin. I might buy it again.

7 Ekél Natural Clean Peeling Gel Apricot – what a lovely peeling gel! I have another one (different scent) in my stash

8 Imperial Leather SkinKind Raspberry & Lime Blossom Enriching Body Wash – I liked this shower gel, and I have one more bottle in my stash.

9 Palmolive Naturals Irresistible Softness Black Orchid & Moisturising Milk Shower Milk – a wonderful shower gel. Unfortunately it has been discontinued. I think I have another bottle though!

10 Superdrug Vitamin C Detox Skincare Revitalising Jam Face Mask – this is a decent scrub mask. I would buy it again!

11 Oriflame M by Marcel Marongiu – what a lovely, unique fragrance! Too bad it was a limited edition from eons ago…

12 Pantene Pro-V Miracles Grow Strong Biotin + Bamboo Shampoo & Conditioner – such a nice surprise! I will buy this conditioner (and the matching shampoo) again. My husband is enjoying the leftover shampoo too (once I finish a conditioner, I pass the matching leftover shampoo on to my husband).

13 Boots Extracts Sweet Mango Body Wash – a lovely shower gel. Unfortunately discontinued.

I’m glad I finished a few more shower gels which were in various states of empty. I also used a bunch of single use face masks. I think I did well again in March! I hope April will be good too. I know I’ll finish 2 more products this weekend.

Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Fragrance-Free Non-Greasy Lotion

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Fragrance-Free Non-Greasy Lotion.

This body lotion is usually over £3, so I just had to have it when I saw it for £1 at Poundland!

This body lotion is aimed at people with very dry skin. It promises to heal dry and rough skin within 5 days and to moisturise even the most stubborn dry patches. The lotion also claims to absorb fast and to be gentle on sensitive skin.

I’ve used this body lotion for a few days, and I can already tell that it’s amazing for my very dry and moody skin. The lotion absorbs in no time, it’s definitely not greasy at all, but it makes my skin feel deeply nourished.

I would have preferred a scented product, but I cannot fault this body lotion at all.

Based on my experience, I’d recommend this body lotion to other people with very dry and/or moody skin. Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Fragrance-Free Non-Greasy Lotion is available as 200ml and 400ml. Prices vary quite a bit, and there’s often a Half Price or Buy 1 Get 1 Free offer somewhere!

Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Non-Greasy Lotion

Vaseline Aloe LotionHi there! Today’s post is about this Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Non-Greasy Lotion.

This body lotion promises to heal and soothe dry skin.

I’ve been using it on and off for just over a week now, and I like it a lot!

I agree that this body lotion feels healing and soothing. I have very dry skin, and I’m happy with how this body lotion makes my skin feel.

The formula is more of a gel cream that a lotion. It reminds me of Herbal Essences’ classic conditioner! And I’m also happy with the aloe fragrance. It’s green and refreshing. Nice!

Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Non-Greasy Lotion is available as 200ml. I only paid £1 (Poundland), although the usual drugtore price is about £2.79.

14 Burberry Brit Red – I loved this fragrance! Too bad it was a limited edition…

Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Healing Non-Greasy Lotion

Hi there! Today’s post is about Vaseline’s Intensive Care Essential Healing Non-Greasy Lotion.

I’ve been using this body lotion for a few weeks now (it’s near empty), and I just love it!

The lotion is easy to spread, and it’s absorbed in no time. I love the non-greasy formula. It’s perfect for warmer days when you don’t want to use a heavy body butter.

I’ve previously only used Vaseline’s cocoa body lotion, and I actually regret not giving this one a try sooner.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this body lotion. I will buy it again for sure!

Vaseline’s Intensive Care Essential Healing Non-Greasy Lotion is available as 200ml and 400ml. I paid £1 for the 200ml bottle.
