100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Care Smoothing All Over Body Cream With Acacia Collagen

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Care Smoothing All Over Body Cream With Acacia Collagen. This body cream is aimed at people with mature or dry skin, and it promises to replenish and to hydrate the skin. Sounds great! What else sounds great? This product is certified cruelty-free (it carries the Leaping Bunny logo), and it’s suitable for vegans! 😍 Onto the review!

I’ve been using this body cream for about 4 weeks now, and I love it! The formula is amazing – it’s very hydrating, but it feels so light and the cream is absorbed in no time. It makes my skin feel amazing, and it’s perfect for warmer summer days! The fragrance is outstanding too. It’s sweet, floral, powdery and dreamy – it reminds me a bit of Superdrug’s limited edition moonstone extract body cream from 2019.

All in all, this is a great body cream! Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Care Smoothing All Over Body Cream With Acacia Collagen is available as 300ml for £4.99. I bought it (and another body cream) when Superdrug ran a Buy 1 Get 2nd Half Price promotion.

100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Care All Over Body Cream With Moonstone Extract

Hi there! Today’s post is about Superdrug‘s Vitamin E All Over Body Cream With Moonstone Extract. This is a limited charity edition (just like this one), and 15% of the price of the product will go to Marie Curie. This is awesome!

About the product itself… this is a body moisturiser that’s aimed at people with normal to dry skin. It contains a number of vitamins – E, A, B5, F and H, as well as coconut oil, horse chestnut extract, and moonstone extract.

I’ve been using this moisturiser for about 2 weeks now, and I’m blown away! The formula is something between Superdrug’s light Vitamin E moisturiser and a body butter. It has the best of both worlds – proper hydration, no stickiness. This makes it very suitable for all seasons, even for warm-to-hot summer days. 😍

The fragrance is very lovely too. I can’t describe it properly, but it’s a mix of pearls, powder and a hint of poppies. It’s gorgeous!

I’m very happy with this moisturiser, and I’d recommend it! Superdrug‘s Vitamin E All Over Body Cream With Moonstone Extract is suitable for vegans and certified cruelty-free (it carries the Leaping Bunny logo). It’s available as 465ml for £3.49. Superdrug runs Buy 1 Get 2nd Half Price promotions on their Vitamin E stuff most of the time – and that’s why I picked up 2 tubs for £5.24. 😊

100% Vegan – Original Source Skin Quench Pineapple & Moringa Oil Body Lotion

Hi there! Today’s post is about Original Source‘s Skin Quench Pineapple & Moringa Oil Body Lotion.

This body lotion contains natural oils, and the fragrance is 100% natural.

What’s the product like? Well, I don’t like it at all. And here’s why:

I have to say that the body lotion hydrates my skin nicely. However, the fragrance is terrible. The body lotion smells like a mix of overly ripe pineapple and furniture polish. Fortunately the fragrance doesn’t linger!

I remember the shower gels from the Skin Quench line – they didn’t smell great either! It’s not surprisig the Skin Quench line didn’t survive.

I won’t continue to use this body lotion on my body, but I’m sure it’ll be perfectly OK as a foot lotion.

Original Source‘s Skin Quench Pineapple & Moringa Oil Body Lotion is approved by the Vegan Society, and it is available as 200ml for £1.79 (Savers).

100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Care All Over Body Cream With Dragon Fruit

Hi there! A few week’s ago I picked up Superdrug’s Vitamin E Skin Care All Over Body Cream With Dragon Fruit. I’ve tried a few different products from this collection – and I liked all of them. So how could I not give this one a try? 😉

This body cream is aimed at people with normal to dry skin. It promises to hydrate the skin and to defend it from environmental damage. This body cream contains a number of vitamins – E, A, B5, F and H – and coconut oil!

I’ve been using this body cream for a few days now, and I think it’s awesome! It’s easily absorbed, and it’s 100% non-sticky which makes it the perfect body cream for workday mornings (or whenever you’re in a hurry). I also believe that this body cream would be perfect for those warm summer days when you just can’t deal with heavy moisturisers. What else? I love the gorgeous fragrance – it’s warm, exotic and feminine. Yes, feminine. Not girly.

Superdrug’s Vitamin E Skin Care All Over Body Cream With Dragon Fruit is available as 475ml (the tub is huge!) for £2.99. 15% of the price of the product will go to Marie Curie – awesome stuff! This product is also 100% vegan and cruelty-free (it carries the Leaping Bunny logo).

100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Wash, Body Butter & Perfume

Hi there! Today’s post is about Pacifica’s Blood Orange Body Wash, Body Butter & Perfume. These products were part of a gift set which I picked up for next to nothing (clearance). I’ve now tried these products, so let me tell you if they’re any good.

Let’s start with the body wash! I really liked this one. It lathered up nicely and it cleansed my skin well without being too harsh. I also liked the boozy blood orange fragrance.

The body butter is… well… not a body butter, but more of a lotion. The product’s also nowhere near as moisturising as it claims to be. However, the main issue is the “fragrance”! This body butter doesn’t smell as bad as Pacifica’s Indian Coconut Nectar body butter, but it still smells unclean (a mix of night sweats and candied oranges). We (my husband and I) use this body butter as a foot lotion!

I’ve already reviewed the perfume – and you can read the full review here. But to summarise my thoughts… this perfume isn’t a summer fragrance. It smells like a mix of oranges, strawberries, marmalade and a hint of carrot. I think it’s an autumn fragrance that would go well with pumpkin spice scented body products!

I don’t think I’ll be buying any of these products again. I do like the perfume, but I don’t love it. The body wash is nice, but it’s not nicer than the shower gels I can find in supermarkets or drugstores (or bargain stores).

100% Awesome & 100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Care All Over Body Cream

Hi there! Today’s post is about Superdrug’s Vitamin E Skin Care All Over Body Cream for normal to dry skin. This cream contains all sorts of good ingredients, like vitamins E, A, B, F and H, as well as calcium and coconut oil. And it promises to defend the skin against environmental damage. If you read on, I’ll let you know if this cream is any good. 🙂

What can I say? This cream is fantastic. The fragrance is to die for. I’d describe it as warm, tropical and ‘high end’. This cream smells just gorgeous! I also love the formula because this cream isn’t sticky at all, and it doesn’t feel like product on my skin. This is just what I want on warm summer days!

I could spend hours raving about this product, but I won’t! All I’m going to say is… this body cream is one of my all-time favourites. If you’ve never tried it, you’ve been missing out!

Superdrug’s Vitamin E Skin Care All Over Body Cream is available as 475ml for £2.99 which is fantastic value! This product carries the Leaping Bunny logo – it’s cruelty-free and suitable for vegans!

100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Vitamin C Boost Mango & Papaya Body Butter

Hi there! Today’s post is about Superdrug’s Vitamin C Boost Mango & Papaya Body Butter. I’ve already gone through a tub of the matching body scrub, so I thought I should finally give the body butter a try!

I’ve been using this body butter on and off for almost 3 weeks now, and I must say that I really like it. This body butter contains pro-vitamin B5, vitamins C and E, and natural extracts, and it makes my skin feel soft and nourished. Great stuff!
superdrug-mango-papaya-body-butter
I also like the authentic mango & papaya fragrance. It’s quite strong when you open the tub, but it’s perfectly fine once it hits the skin. I would definitely recommend this body butter. And I’m pretty sure it will be one of my favourite moisturisers this summer!

Superdrug’s Vitamin C Boost Mango & Papaya Body Butter is available as 200ml for £3.99. I paid £1.99 (half price offer). This body butter is suitable for vegans and it’s certified cruelty-free – it carries the Leaping Bunny logo.

100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Pacifica Indian Coconut Nectar Body Wash, Body Butter & Perfume

Hi there! You might know that I’m not the biggest fan of the fragrance and the flavour of coconuts. So I wouldn’t have chosen these coconut-scented products for myself. However, these products were part of a humongous gift box (no, not a set – it was a huge box) which was incredibly cheap – so I just had to have it. 🙂 Now let’s look at Pacifica Indian Coconut Nectar Body Wash, Body Butter & Perfume.

The Body Wash is quite nice. It smells like coconut and vanilla, but it doesn’t have this sickly sweet scent which many coconut-themed products have. The body wash lathers up nicely and it feels good on my skin – it’s not drying at all. Well done, Pacifica!
Pacifica Indian Coconut Nectar 2
The Body Butter is a weird product. First of all, it’s not a butter but more like a body lotion. And it’s brown. It doesn’t stain. But for a moment I really thought they might have accidentally filled this tube with a self tan lotion. 😀 I think this product is very moisturising, but the fragrance is totally off. I looked up reviews elsewhere, and about half the reviewers noticed the weird scent too. Most of these guys (or rather gals) found the scent plasticky, and someone likened it to furniture polish (not that far off). I’d describe the scent as that of a wet gym towel. Unfortunately the scent is also quite long-lasting – and no, it doesn’t get better.

The Rollerball Perfume is excellent. When I roll on the fragrance, it’s quite strong and harsh at first. But that’s just for a few seconds. And it develops into a really beautiful summer vanilla fragrance. It’s tropical, exotic, sweet, warm and creamy. Yes, the coconut is definitely noticeable but it doesn’t smell cheap. And (fortunately) the vanilla note is stronger than the coconut note. The fragrance stays close to the skin, but it’s really long-lasting – twelve hours plus!

Based on my experience with these products, I’d recommend the fragrance and the shower gel. In regards to the body lotion, if you can sample it in-store, you should do it!

Pacifica Indian Coconut Nectar is available as body wash, body butter, rollerball perfume, spray perfume, solid perfume, soap, candle, reed diffuser, body oil, hand cream and wipes. There’s something for everyone! 🙂

Vegan & Cruelty-Free Gift Idea – Superdrug Naturals Body Butter Collection – Lotus Flower & Cherry Blossom, Cocoa Butter & Vanilla, Cherry & Macadamia

Hi there! A few days ago one of my work mates told me she was struggling to find a present for her cousin’s birthday. She said she doesn’t want to spend a lot of money because the two of them aren’t that close. But it’s not like they don’t like each other, so she doesn’t want to give her cousin a rubbish birthday present – or none at all.

I had an idea right away. 🙂 And I know many people struggle to find a cheap but nice present every once in a while. So I thought I’d share my gift idea with you! I suggested my work mate get a small wicker basket (or something similar) and fill it with a few nice products, like Superdrug’s Naturals body butters. My work mate loved the idea. She told me she bought these body butters and she found a little gift basket in the post-Easter clearance sale at a local store. Job done!
Superdrug Body Butters
Now, what’s so special about this kind of present? Well, nothing really. But I think the idea of getting a beauty hamper (well, almost) as a birthday present is quite nice. And products like body butters are always useful because every woman moisturises her skin (at least once in a while).

The reason I suggested these body butters is because they’re cheap (£3.99 each, but they’re on special – BOGOF or half price – almost all the time). And these body butters are really good! They contain vitamin E and pro-vitamin B5 and the formula is great (soft, easy to apply, non-sticky). The body butters carry the Leaping Bunny logo, so the products are cruelty-free and suitable for vegans! Oh, and the fragrances are lovely too!
Superdrug Lotus Flower Cherry Blossom
Superdrug Lotus Flower & Cherry Blossom Body Butter smells heavenly. It bursts with freshness and sweetness – the perfect combination of lotus and cherry blossoms. Beautiful!
Superdrug Cocoa Vanilla
Superdrug Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Body Butter smells lovely and sweet, but it’s no surprise since it contains cocoa butter and vanilla. The scent leans towards vanilla, but I don’t mind because it reminds me of vanilla milk.
Superdrug Cherry Macadamia
Superdrug Cherry & Macadamia Body Butter is absolutely gorgeous. Its scent is sweet and quite strong, but it’s very natural and yummy. I think this body butter smells like cherry yoghurt on my skin!

So, next time you have to get a female relative, friend or co-worker a cheap but nice gift, why not just buy a basket and fill it with lovely products?! I hope you found this post helpful. Feel free to share your ideas for a cheap and cheerful gift in the comments. 🙂

Superdrug Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Body Lotion

Superdrug Cocoa Vanilla BL111Hi there! It’s been six months since I bought my first tub of Superdrug’s Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Body Butter, so I’ve now given Superdrug’s Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Body Lotion a try.

The scent is the same – this body lotion smells lovely and sweet, but it’s no surprise since it contains cocoa butter and vanilla. The scent leans towards vanilla, but I don’t mind because it reminds me of vanilla milk.

But this body lotion doesn’t only smell divine, it’s also fantastic at moisturising. This body lotion is wonderful and it makes my skin feel soft and silky all day long. I’ll definitely buy it again!

Superdrug Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Body Lotion is available as 200 ml for £2.99 – but now there’s a BOGOF offer. Just like the other Superdrug beauty products, this lotion carries the Leaping Bunny logo. It’s cruelty-free and suitable for vegans.
