Hi there! Since it’s face mask week, today’s post is a face mask review. I tried this Polish’d Vitamin C Face Mask just last week, and here’s what I think!
This face mask contains vitamin C from grapefruits, and it promises to even out skin tone and to rejuvenate dull and tired skin. The instructions sound fairly standard – cleanse your face before you use the mask, leave it on for 20 minutes and massage the leftover essence into your skin.
I think this mask is good but not great. What’s good? A quick look at the back of the sachet shows vitamin C is the 2nd ingredient listed, and vitamin E ist the 3rd. This is impressive! And I’m happy to confirm that this mask makes my skin look and feel refreshed, brightened and exfoliated. Really good stuff!
However, I need to point out that the essence is more of a jelly than a liquid. It’s quite sticky. And it doesn’t help that this mask is one of those ultra-fine sheet masks which are wrapped around a mask-shaped piece of plastic. It’s quite wasteful because the jelly sticks to the plastic, and it’s incredibly messy to handle. I’ll use the masks I have left, but I won’t repurchase them.
Polish’d Vitamin C Face Masks are available in packs of 5 sheet masks for £4.99 (TK Maxx).
