I Love… Chocolates & Oranges Refreshing Body Spritzer, I Love… Gingerbread Refreshing Body Spritzer

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 I Love… body mists that I picked up a few months ago – I Love… Chocolates & Oranges Refreshing Body Spritzer and I Love… Gingerbread Refreshing Body Spritzer. I forgot that I had these body mists, but I remembered that I bought them when I saw they were still on sale (Primark) the other day. To make a long story short… I went looking for these two body mists in my stash – and I found them! And now that I’ve tested them, let me tell you more.

I Love… Chocolates & Oranges isn’t great at all. It smells cheap and synthetic – it’s borderline unpleasant. But since I hated the matching shower gel, it’s not surprising that I didn’t like the body mist.

I Love… Gingerbread smells like gingerbread! Whilst I’ve never liked gingerbread, I have to say this body mist smells exactly like the baked treats. If you like gingerbread, and if you’d like to smell like it, give this body mist a try!

Like I said, these 2 I Love… Refreshing Body Spritzers are available at Primark. My local store isn’t the biggest Primark store, but they have lots of different I Love… products (shower gels, body sprays, etc – different fragrances) for £1 each!

NSPA Orient

Hi there! Today’s post is about NSPA’s Orient fragrance. I’ve been on the hunt (!) for NSPA’s fragrance collection for almost a year. And just a few days ago – when I least expected it – I found exactly one bottle of NSPA’s Orient at my local Asda. Of course, it went straight in my basket. 🙂

Now let’s look at the fragrance. NSPA’s web site says it contains the following fragrant notes: orchids, amber, silk, lily, vanilla, musk and mandarin oil. So is it any good? If you read on, you’ll find out.
NSPA Orient
I think Orient is a beautiful, elegant and grown-up floriental fragrance. It reminds me of all those classic violet and vanilla perfumes. But Orient is more elegant and modern because – instead of violets – it features sensual aromas of orchids on a warm bed of vanilla, amber and musk. Orient is a very enjoyable interpretation of a classic floriental fragrance. Well done, NSPA!

NSPA Orient is available as 50 ml Eau de Toilette. I got my Orient fragrance for £4, but I think the actual RRP is £8. Either way, this one’s a real bargain!

Boots Extracts Festive Spiced Apple Body Wash, Body Butter, Body Scrub

Hi there! On Boxing Day I picked up quite a few half price gift sets. And now I’ve finally tried Boots’ Christmas-themed offerings. So today we’re looking at Boots Extracts Festive Spiced Apple Body Wash, Body Scrub and Body Butter.
Boots Extracts Spicy Apple
Boots Extracts Festive Spiced Apple Body Wash lathers up nicely. The body wash isn’t too drying and the apple scent is intense and really festive. Nice one!

Boots Extracts Festive Spiced Apple Body Scrub is not that great. Whilst the scent is lovely, the scrub doesn’t contain many scrubby bits. It does make my skin feel much softer, but this scrub is too gentle for my taste.

Boots Extracts Festive Spiced Apple Body Butter is just as fantastic as all the other Extracts body butters I’ve tried. It’s not too thick and not too thin, and I found it super easy to massage it into my skin. This body butter is very moisturising, but it’s not sticky at all. And it smells wonderfully natural of apples with a touch of cinnamon. 10 stars!

These three products were part of a large “For All Seasons” themed set containing products from four different Boots Extracts products lines. The total for these three travel size products (75ml Body Wash and Scrub, 50ml Body Butter) works out as £2.50.
