Yves Rocher Oui A L’Amour L’Eau De Parfum

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Yves Rocher Oui A L’Amour L’Eau De Parfum which I started to use earlier this month. This fragrance has been in my stash for ages. I never even tried it because the girly pink box made me think of overly sweet fragrances aimed at teenagers. And, equally, it also reminded me of some rather old-fashioned floral fragrances without much finesse. Obviously, you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but hey ho…

Alrighty! This fragrance contains the following notes: angelica, rose, cedar. That’s a rather short list! But let’s see if this fragrance is any good…

I think Oui A L’Amour is a lovely fragrance. It smells like vanilla-kissed roses with a whiff of citrus. It’s really nice! This fragrance has a fresh and modern feel about it. I’m glad that it doesn’t smell overly sweet, and that it’s not a loud and unrefined mix of all sorts of different flowers.

One thing I have to deduct an imaginary point for is the staying power of this fragrance. It lasts for 2-3 hours the most, and it doesn’t even linger on clothes or scarves. Since I got this fragrance as a free gift with purchase, I don’t mind spraying it rather liberally. But if you were to pay full price, I can imagine that the lack of staying power would be disappointing.

Yves Rocher Un Matin Au Jardin Cerisier En Fleurs Eau De Toilette

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Yves Rocher Un Matin Au Jardin Cerisier En Fleurs Eau De Toilette which I received as a free gift with a previous Yves Rocher order. Yes, a full size fragrance as a free gift… I really miss Yves Rocher in the UK. 😭

Alrighty, this fragrance contains the following notes: Green notes and mandarin (top notes), cherry blossom and almond blossom (heart notes), and musk and patchouli (base notes).

I’ve been wearing this fragrance for a few days now, and I like it a lot! This is a rather light fragrance that doesn’t last for more than 2-3 hours and that stays close to the skin. I’m generally a rather liberal sprayer of perfume, so with this one I can spray away to my heart’s content!

The fragrance itself is beautiful – it smells like cherry blossoms with a hint of lemon and strawberry, kissed by almond blossoms. The overall feel of this fragrance is floral, airy and transparent, youthful, definitely fresh and light, and absolutely perfect for spring and summer. ☀️

Based on my experience, I’d recommend this fragrance. Yves Rocher Un Matin Au Jardin Cerisier En Fleurs Eau De Toilette is available as 100ml. Mine was a free gift with purchase.

Empties – April 2022

Hi there! Today’s post is about all the products I finished in April. I used a bunch of single-use face masks – but I didn’t keep the empty sachets (I never do). But here are the big bottles and tubes.

1 Yves Rocher Monoï Lagoon Moisturizing Perfumed Body Mist – a very nice tropical body mist. I have at least 1 more bottle in my stash.

2 Anna Sui La Vie De Bohème Body Lotion – not my favourite Anna Sui fragrance. The body lotion was nice to use, but I wouldn’t repurchase it (or the matching fragrance).

3 Superdrug Layering Lab Blossom Body Mist – the best cheap Mugler Alien dupe you can find. I have a few more bottles, and I’d always repurchase this body mist.

4 Boots No 7 Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Serum – one of the best serums ever. A definite repurchase.

5 Agent Provocateur Fatale Intense Eau De Parfum – a really nice fragrance, similar to Mugler’s Angel. I don’t think I’d buy it again though. I have a bunch of other Angel dupes to try and use (and use up).

6 MakeUp Gallery Time To Shine Completely Clear 1 – Poundland’s own brand clear polish. Not the best clear polish, but definitely good enough as a base or top coat.

7 Palmolive Aroma Moments So Sweet Shower Gel With Rooibos Tea, Rose And Almond – one of Palmolive’s best shower gels ever! My husband likes this one too. Unfortunately discontinued, but I have a few more bottles in my stash!

8 Sainsbury’s The Collection Sleep Relax Bath Soak – a very nice bath gel, and a definite repurchase!

9 Imperial Leather Indulgence Rich Moisturising Body Wash Beautiful – a lovely shower gel. Unfortunately discontinued, otherwise I’d buy it again.

10 Yves Rocher Jardins Du Monde Energising Shower Gel With Grapefruit – a decent shower gel. Not my favourite type of grapefruit scent, but I would probably still repurchase this shower gel.

11 Rightguard Shower + Oils With Argan, Marula & Almond Oil – what a beautiful shower gel! My husband used it a few times too, and he also liked it a lot! Unfortunately, this one appears to have been discontinued.

12 Gliss Ultimate Volume Conditioner – just lovely! Too bad Gliss discontinued the Ultimate Volume product line, otherwise I’d buy this conditioner (and the matching shampoo) again.

April was a decent month for empties. I’m glad I managed to finish 3 fragrances and 5 shower and bath products. I hope May will be good too. I already finished 2 products today.

Yves Rocher Jardins Du Monde Energising Shower Gel With Grapefruit

Hi there! Today’s short post is about this Yves Rocher Jardins Du Monde Energising Shower Gel With Grapefruit. I love all things grapefruit, so I didn’t hesitate when I found this shower gel.

How is it? This shower gel is really good. I like the formula; it feels cleansing, but it’s also gentle. The grapefruit fragrance is sunny and juicy. Personally, I would have preferred a slightly more tangy fragrance, but that’s just my preference.

All in all, this is a decent shower gel. Yves Rocher Jardins Du Monde Energising Shower Gel With Grapefruit is available as 200ml. I don’t remember what I paid but this was a sale item!

Yves Rocher Jardins Du Monde Well-Being Shower Gel With Lavandin

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Yves Rocher Jardins Du Monde Well-Being Shower Gel With Lavandin from the Provence Region. I bought this shower gel before Yves Rocher shut down its operations in the UK. I really miss Yves Rocher’s special offers and free gifts! 😢

Onto the product now! This shower gel has a beautiful formula, and it produces the most luxurious lather. Unfortunately, the lavender scent is too strong for my taste, so I can’t enjoy the shower gel as much as I’d love to. I will use it up, but I wouldn’t repurchase it.

Having said this, if you love strong lavender scents in products, this shower gel is definitely worth a try! Yves Rocher Jardins Du Monde Well-Being Shower Gel With Lavandin is available as 200ml. I’m unsure what I paid but this was a sale item!

Yves Rocher Riche Crème Day / Night Care Intense Regenerating Care

Hi there! Today’s post is about Yves Rocher Riche Crème Day / Night Care Intense Regenerating Care. This face cream contains 30 precious oils, rose oil among them, and it promises to smooth out wrinkles and to make skin feel soft and silky. This face cream is aimed at mature skin types, but I had a free sample, so why would I not use it?

I’ve used this face cream as a night cream, and I liked it a lot. I loved the texture – it felt rich and light at the same time, and it felt great on my skin. The next day I woke up to rested looking skin that felt perfectly soft and silky! My review is based on a single use of this face cream, but this little sample made me curious about the product!

Battle Of The Peachy Shower Gels – Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Yellow Peach Shower Gel vs. NSPA Deliciously Soft And Sweet Peach Shower & Bath Gel

Hi there! Today’s post is about two peachy shower gels – Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Yellow Peach Shower Gel and NSPA Deliciously Soft And Sweet Peach Shower & Bath Gel.

Let’s start with this Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Yellow Peach Shower Gel which was a free gift with purchase. Unfortunately, I didn’t like this shower gel at all. It smelled terribly cheap and chemical. This one ended up in the hand wash dispenser in the guest bathroom.

NSPA Deliciously Soft And Sweet Peach Shower & Bath Gel is alright but nothing special. This shower gel smells more of peach skin than the actual fruit. I’ll keep using it for a few more days, but I’m sure that this shower gel will end up as hand wash too.

Whilst NSPA’s shower gel is much better than Yves Rocher’s attempt at a peach shower gel, I don’t care for either product.

Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Yellow Peach Shower Gel is available as 400ml, and NSPA Deliciously Soft And Sweet Peach Shower & Bath Gel is available as 500ml.

Yves Rocher Collection Été

Hi there! Today’s post is about a fragrance I’ve been using on and off since April or May – Yves Rocher Collection Été. This limited edition fragrance contains the following notes: bergamot, mandarin, lemon, lemon blossom and woody notes.

I think YR Collection Été is a very beautiful summer fragrance. It bursts with citrus freshness, but it also has a sunny feel to it. It smells like a relaxing holiday. 😍 If I were to assign a colour to this fragrance, it would be pastel yellow.

I’m enjoying this fragrance quite a bit, and I can definitely see myself finishing it this summer! Yves Rocher Collection Été is a limited edition fragrance. It’s available as 75ml.

Yves Rocher Monoï Lagoon Moisturizing Perfumed Body Mist

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Yves Rocher Monoï Lagoon Moisturizing Perfumed Body Mist.

This body mist contains a number of moisturising ingredients, such as glycerin, castor oil and aloe leaf juice. It also contains flower extracts of exotic Tahitian gardenias!

I’ve been using this body mist on and off for a little while, and I love it! It has the most wonderful gardenia fragrance one could imagine. It’s warm, creamy, but it also feels transparent. This body mist is lovely as a spring and summer fragrance!

This body mist is also lightly hydrating. I like to spray it down my back – and it makes my skin super soft!

If you’re interested, Yves Rocher Monoï Lagoon Moisturizing Perfumed Body Mist is available as 125ml. I paid £10.99 for a pack of 3 bottles (special offer before Yves Rocher closed its UK online shop).
