100% Cruelty-Free – Boots A Little Something Hand Cream Duo

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Boots A Little Something Hand Cream Duo. It contains 2 hand creams – Winter Pears and Peach Pie. This is a cute little set, usually priced at £5. I picked it up for £2.50 – it was half price on Boxing Day.

I’ve also noticed that this little hand cream duo is certified cruelty-free. It carries THE Leaping Bunny logo on the back. Great stuff! And according to Boots, the formula is vegan too. 😍

Let’s start with Boots A Little Something Winter Pears Hand Cream. This is a nice hand cream with a fluid-like formula that sinks right into the skin. The hand cream is very hydrating, and you don’t need to use much product at all which means that the small 30ml will last for a while. The scent is lovely – it doesn’t really smell of pears or vanilla. I’d say the scent is similar to Mugler Angel and its clones. No, it’s not the same, but if you love this type of fragrance, this hand cream is for you.

Boots A Little Something Peach Pie Hand Cream is my favourite hand cream ever. I am very happy with this beautiful fragrance. It smells like those beautiful peach-centred fragrances from the 90s. If you love Trésor and similar fragrances, this hand cream is for you. No, it doesn’t smell exactly like Trésor, but it’s similar enough. Also, this hand cream has the same great formula as the Winter Pears hand cream. A wonderful product! 😍

Based on my experience, I would recommend this lovely hand cream duo. Great formula, great fragrances – what more could you possibly ask for? This hand cream duo could be a great little treat for you, or a stocking filler or a small gift. Boots A Little Something Hand Cream Duo is available as 2 x 30ml. I cannot wait for this year’s winter editions and Christmas gift sets. I will make sure to stock up on those lovely A Little Something products! 😍

Boots A Little Something Body Butter Trio

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Boots A Little Something Body Butter Trio which I picked up for half price on Boxing Day. A Little Something is a Boots own brand that pops up before Christmas each year. There’s usually hand creams, body butters and other toiletries, available in giftable sets – perfect as a side gift for someone you love, or as a little gift for a colleague, secret santa, or for yourself.

So let’s explore whether this trio is worth being picked up again in 6 months from now when the pre-Christmas offerings will be everywhere again. 😀

This body butter trio contains 3 x 50ml mini body butters. The scents are Berry Fizz with notes of red berries and cassis, Winter Pears with notes of pear and vanilla, and Peach Pie with notes of peach and caramel.

Boots A Little Something Berry Fizz Body Butter is my least favourite of the trio. It doesn’t really smell of berries, it’s more of a floral scent, with a prominent rose note. It’s well done, but not really my cup of tea.  The scent of this body butter is quite strong. If you love fragrances such as Chloe or Stella, this would be a good body butter to go with the fragrance, especially if you’re on a budget.

Boots A Little Something Winter Pears Body Butter is really nice. However, I think the scent is more of a patchouli–vanilla-with-fruit type of fragrance. If you love fragrances such as Angel, Chopard Wish and other similar fragrances, this strongly-scented body butter would be worth a try. Of course, the body butter doesn’t smell exactly like Angel or its clones, but it has a similar aura, albeit less heavy on the patchouli, with a more innocent sweetness and with an overall lighter feel. I really like this body body, and I use it whenever I feel like using my Angel / Angel limited edition samples.

Boots A Little Something Peach Pie Body Butter is the star of the show – in my opinion. This body butter has a heavenly peach and vanilla scent, with a touch of raspberry, I think. It is WOW! It smells like those beautiful peachy fragrances from the 90s – I guess Trésor is probably the one that is most popular and also still around. I love this body butter so much, and I will buy the matching shower gel and body lotion once the Christmas gift sets are on sale again in 6 months. And now that I know how amazing this scent is, I won’t wait until Boxing Day. It’ll be like… I see Peach Pie products at Boots -> I buy them!

I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this Boots A Little Something Body Butter Trio. On top of the lovely fragrances, these body butters have a lovely formula. Very rich, but not greasy or tacky. They just feel great on the skin.

If you’re interested, Boots A Little Something Body Butter Trio is available as a set with 3 x 50ml body butters. I don’t remember the price, I just grabbed it when I saw the half price sticker, but I doubt it was more expensive than a store-bought sandwich.

100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Flutter Hand Cream

Hi there! Today’s short post is about Superdrug‘s Flutter Hand Cream. It’s been a while since I bought this hand cream, but the Flutter brand always makes an appearance around Christmas and Valentine’s Day, and this year’s Christmas collection looks pretty much like last year’s! 😉 Now… onto the review!

I think this is a lovely hand cream. Whilst it’s more of a summer hand cream than a winter hand cream, I do enjoy the light formula because it’s absorbed almost instantly. This hand cream makes my hands feel super soft, and the subtle floral fragrance is very nice! I’d describe the fragrance as yellow and happy. 🙂

Superdrug‘s Flutter Hand Cream is available as 60ml for £1. In addition, this hand cream is suitable for vegans, and it’s certifed cruelty-free (it carries the Leaping Bunny logo). I think Superdrug’s Flutter hand cream would make a great stocking filler!

The Ultimate £1 Stocking Filler – Leafy & Lovely Floral Hand Lotion

Hi there! Today’s post is about Superdrug’s Leafy & Lovely Floral Hand Lotion – which I bought around Valentine’s Day. But since this hand lotion is still available (and it’s £1 only) I thought I should do a quick review.

First of all, I love the fancy packaging. The design is really cute, and the hand cream tube reminds me of considerably more expensive hand creams from The Body Shop, L’Occitane or Roger & Gallet. So I think this hand cream is a budget luxury product!
Superdrug Leafy Lovely Hand Cream 2
I also like the fragrance – it’s floral and green – like spring! By the way, the fragrance is the exact same fragrance that Superdrug used in last year’s Summer Meadow hand lotion. 🙂

Another thing that’s great is that this hand cream isn’t sticky. It’s absorbed quickly, but it makes my hands feel silky-soft. Very nice! So if you’re looking for a budget luxury hand cream (for yourself or as a stocking filler or as a gift…), this is what you want! Superdrug’s Leafy & Lovely Floral Hand Lotion is available as 60ml for £1 which is excellent value.

Have you tried this hand lotion, or would you like to try it? Feel free to let me know in the comments. And thanks for stopping by!

The Perfect Stocking Fillers For £1 – Superdrug Sweet Snuggles Lip Balms and Hands & Nails Sets

Hi there! Today’s post is about Superdrug’s Sweet Snuggles Lip Balm Set and Superdrug’s Sweet Snuggles Hand & Nail Set. I bought these two sets last year – for £1 each. And since Superdrug is now selling two almost identical sets (the design is a little different – but everything else is the same), I thought I’d tell you if they’re any good.
SD Sweet Snuggles Hand Nail Set2
Superdrug’s Sweet Snuggles Lip Balm Set consists of 3 lip balms. They’re vanilla-flavoured and they’re very nourishing. I also love the cute design – very fitting for the colder season! This year Superdrug is selling essentially the same lip balm set (as I said before, they chose a new design, but the name and the product are basically still the same) – and it’s available for £1. Considering the good quality of these lip balms, the set is a total steal!

Superdrug’s Sweet Snuggles Hand & Nail Set consists of a small 30ml hand lotion and a small emery board (= the perfect size for every cosmetic bag). I think the hand lotion is very nice. It’s wonderfully moisturising, but it’s not sticky at all. And it makes my hands feel so soft! I also like the delicious and sweet vanilla scent (it reminds me of Boots’ vanilla body butter). The emery board is nothing special – it does its job – like every other emery board. At the moment Superdrug does a near identical set (the emery board is the same, but this year’s hand lotion features a penguin image) wich is £1 only.

I would definitely recommend these little sets. They’re cute, they’re great stocking fillers, and the products are actually useful! I haven’t seen the new sets in store yet (online only), so I’m not sure about whether or not they carry the Leaping Bunny logo. My guess is that they do because last year’s sets were BUAV-approved, and they did carry the Leaping Bunny logo – and Superdrug’s own brand products are generally certified cruelty-free.

Cruelty-Free Last Minute Stocking Fillers For £1 – Superdrug Sweet Snuggles Lip Balms and Hands & Nails Sets

Hi there! I hope no one has to buy any emergency Christmas presents. But if you have to, and if you’re near a Superdrug store anyway, check out these Sweet Snuggles Lip Balms and Hands & Nails sets.
SD Sweet Snuggles Hand Nail Set
I think these sets are super cute – almost kawaii. The three lip balms feature images of a reindeer, a bunny and a fox. The hand cream also features a cute bunny image, and the nail file looks wintry as well.

The products are BUAV-approved, and they carry the Leaping Bunny logo. This means the products are cruelty-free! The best thing is these sets are £1 each!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
