Skin Treats Hyaluronic Acid Hydrogel Collagen Face Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Skin Treats Hyaluronic Acid Hydrogel Collagen Face Mask which I picked up from my local B&M store for £1. This face mask promises to energise dull and fatigued skin for a renewed appearance.

This is a gel mask. You’re supposed to leave it on for 20 minutes, then massage the leftover essence into your skin. Then follow with your regular skin care.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s OK. The gel mask itself is pretty useless. It doesn’t hold any essence, and I don’t think it has any effect on the skin. So instead of wasting my time with the gel mask, I popped a fresh, compressed sheet mask into the sachet. And once it had soaked up the essence, I was able to enjoy a proper sheet mask.

In regards to the essence, I agree that it feels hydrating. However, it also has a strong coconut fragrance (Why?!) which I didn’t care for at all. Because of this, I won’t repurchase this mask.

If you’re interested, Skin Treats Hyaluronic Acid Hydrogel Collagen Face Mask is available as a 60g single use mask for £1 at B&M Bargains.

Skin Treats Clay Purifying Face Mask With Avocado

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Skin Treats Purifying Face Mask With Avocado.

This face mask promises to give skin a deep cleanse. At the same time it claims to nourish skin with avocado oil. The promised result is refreshed and rejuvenated skin. Sounds good!

You’re supposed to apply this mask to cleansed skin and to leave it on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse – job done!

I’ve given this mask a try, and I don’t think it does much. I loved the bright colour of the mask (think neon version of The Incredible Hulk), but I don’t think that the mask gave my skin a deep cleanse.

I won’t buy this mask again. If you’re interested, Skin Treats Purifying Face Mask With Avocado is available as 25ml for 89p (I believe that’s what I paid at Home Bargains).

Skin Treats Clay Nourishing Face Mask With Shea Butter

Hi there! I’ve got another face mask review for you today – but it’s Face Mask week, so this is hardly a surprise…

Alrighty – I found this Skin Treats Clay Nourishing Face Mask With Shea Butter at my local Home Bargains store. I believe it was 89p.

When I saw the mask I reached out and put it in my shopping basket immediately, because I read Olay instead of Clay. 🤣

So… this mask promises to purify, to revitalise and to nourish skin. You’re supposed to apply the mask to cleansed skin, and to leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Then simply rinse it off = job done.

Since the sachet contained enough product for 3 uses, I’ve given this mask 3 tries. And all I can say is that I think it’s pretty useless. The mask just didn’t do anything for my skin at all.

Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend the mask. However, if you’d like to give it a try, you can find it at Home Bargain (and other discount stores, I assume). If you’d like to try other masks from this brand, I recommend their Pineapple sheet mask and their original Unicorn sheet mask which is exclusive to B&M Bargains.

Skin Treats Koala Super Soothing Printed Sheet Mask, Skin Treats No Prob Llama Hydrating Sheet Mask

Hi there! This week’s going to be face mask week, and the first post is about two super cute face masks – Skin Treats Koala Super Soothing Printed Sheet Mask and Skin Treats No Prob Llama Hydrating Sheet Mask.

These masks are supposed to be used on cleansed skin – simply leave them on for 15-20 minutes and massage the leftover essence from the sachet into your skin.

I’ve given these 2 masks a try, and I think they’re OK. Whilst I agree that the masks are hydrating, they’re a bit sticky, and they smell strongly of coconuts. I don’t like the taste or smell of coconuts, so I didn’t enjoy the masks as much as I would have liked to. Yes, this applies to both masks because they’re the exact same thing (apart from the design).

On a more positive note, the masks are super cute and fun to use. Personally, I preferred the koala mask. The eyelashes and the big nose were impossibly cute. The llama mask was great too, but I would have preferred it without the glasses.

I won’t repurchase these masks (because of their strong coconut fragrance), but if you’re interested, Skin Treats Koala Super Soothing Printed Sheet Mask and Skin Treats No Prob Llama Hydrating Sheet Mask are available as 20ml single-use sheet masks. I paid £1 each (B&M Bargains, Savers).

Skin Treats Let’s Be Mermaids Repair & Revitalise Sheet Mask, Skin Treats Time To Be A Unicorn Radiate & Rejuvenate Sheet Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 face masks that I found at my local Home Bargains store – Skin Treats Let’s Be Mermaids Repair & Revitalise Sheet Mask and Skin Treats Time To Be A Unicorn Radiate & Rejuvenate Sheet Mask. These masks are easy to use – just cleanse your skin, place the mask on your face for 15 minutes, then massage the remaining essence into your skin… I’ve given these 2 masks a try, and here’s what I think.

Skin Treats Let’s Be Mermaids Repair & Revitalise Sheet Mask feels deeply moisturising. However, the essence is very sticky, and the strong coconut fragrance isn’t my cup of tea at all. And since I dislike coconut flavours and scents, I won’t repurchase the mask. But if you have dry skin, you might want to give this mask a try.

I also tried Skin Treats Time To Be A Unicorn Radiate & Rejuvenate Sheet Mask. I thought it would be the same mask as the “original” unicorn mask. However, a look at the ingredients for the 2 unicorn masks revealed that the masks aren’t the same.

When I put the unicorn mask on my face, the first thing I noticed was a strong coconut smell. I found the mask just as moisturising as the mermaid mask, and I thought it was equally sticky… I went to check the ingredients for the two masks, and to make a long story short – Skin Treats Let’s Be Mermaids Repair & Revitalise Sheet Mask and Skin Treats Time To Be A Unicorn Radiate & Rejuvenate Sheet Mask are the exact same product (not counting the design).

I won’t be repurchasing these masks, but I’m glad I gave them a try! Skin Treats Let’s Be Mermaids Repair & Revitalise Sheet Mask and Skin Treats Time To Be A Unicorn Radiate & Rejuvenate Sheet Mask are available as 20ml single use sheet masks for £1 each.

Skin Treats Pomegranate Rejuvenating Sheet Mask

Hi there! Today I’m reviewing this Skin Treats Pomegranate Rejuvenating Sheet Mask. This mask claims to be rich in smoothing and uplifting nutrients, and it claims to revitalise skin.

Using the mask is easy – cleanse your face, place the mask on your face, leave it on for 15 – 20 minutes, then massage the leftover essence into your skin.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s nothing special. It’s mildly refreshing, and it’s not overly sticky, but that’s already it. I won’t repurchase this mask.

Skin Treats Pomegranate Rejuvenating Sheet Mask is available as a single use face mask for £1. I bought mine at B&M Bargains.

Skin Treats Pineapple Toning Sheet Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Skin Treats Pineapple Toning Sheet Mask. This face mask contains vitamins and minerals, and it promises to soothe and tone skin for a youthful and refreshed look with a healthy glow.

This is a regular sheet mask that’s supposed to be used after you’ve cleansed your face. Just leave it on for 15-20 minutes, then massage the remaining essence into your skin.

Since Skin Treats’ Blueberry sheet mask left me underwhelmed, I didn’t expect much from this mask. However, I’m happy that I gave this mask a try because it’s actually very good! The sheet mask itself is of much better quality (comparable to The Crème Shop’s sheet masks) which was a nice surprise.

I also think the essence is really good. It felt refreshing and toning, and the subtle pineapple fragrance was very enjoyable too. I have already repurchased this mask, and if you come across it, I’d recommend you give it a try too!

Skin Treats Pineapple Toning Sheet Mask is available as a single use face mask for £1. I bought mine at B&M Bargains.

Skin Treats Blueberry Detox Sheet Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Skin Treats Blueberry Detox Sheet Mask. This sheet mask contains 10+ botanical and fruit extracts, and it promises to cleanse and purify the skin.

This mask works like the majority of sheet masks – cleanse your face, apply the sheet mask to your face, leave it on for about 15 minutes (I leave sheet masks on until they’re dry), massage the leftover essence into the skin – and you’re good to go!

I’ve given this mask a try, but I don’t think I’ll buy it again. The mask itself is one of those terrible low quality masks which will have lost their shape by the time you’ve unwrapped them. By the time I had placed it on my face, the mask looked like it had been in a fight.

I found the essence to be refreshing, and I’m happy to report that it didn’t feel sticky at all. However, the mask didn’t make any difference to my skin. Based on my experience, I’m not convinced of its cleansing or purifying powers…

If you’d like to give Skin Treats Blueberry Detox Sheet Mask a try, it’s 99p at Savers and B&M Bargains.

Skin Treats Glitter Face Pink Hydrogel Glitter Mask

Hi there! Today I’m reviewing this Skin Treats Glitter Face Pink Hydrogel Glitter Mask which I picked up for £1 at my local B&M Bargains store. This mask promises to hydrate skin deeply. It contains chondrus crispus (a species of seaweed which is bursting with minerals and vitamins and is said to protect against UV rays) as the 3rd ingredient. Wow! It also contains vitamin E which is known to be beneficial to skin.

The instructions on the back state that you should cleanse your face, place the mask on your face and leave it on for 20-25 minutes before discarding it. I’ve never used a hydrogel mask before, so I didn’t know what to expect.

I was also a little baffled by another instruction which says that the mask must be used within 3 hours of opening. Yes, I do understand the concept of no added preservatives, but I mention this because with normal 20g or 20ml sheet masks you usually have enough leftover essence for a second sheet mask. Now if you look at the bottom of the sachet in the photo below, you’ll see that it contains 60g of product. This is A LOT! 😲

I’ve wanted to try the mask for a while, but I was put off because it contains a huge amount of essence, and “Glitter Face” implies that the mask might be messy. But I’ve now used the mask, and here’s what I think.

When I opened the sachet and looked inside, I found a huge amount of clear liquid and a pinkish jelly mask with silver holographic glitter stars attached to it. Those glitter stars looked exactly like the glitter stars you can find in all sorts of different Christmas-themed nail polishes or top coats. The jelly mask itself was awful. The width was OK, but the length was a complete joke. It didn’t even cover half my forehead, and the proportions were completely messed up. Due to the awkward fit, the mask didn’t lie flat on my face. It kept slipping all the time, so I had to pull it up time and time again which caused the mask to tear. By the time I removed the mask, it was more like bits and pieces. Disappointing.

I didn’t think the jelly mask was effective, but there was plenty of essence left, so I popped a compressed sheet mask into the sachet. The compressed mask expanded quickly, and I was able to enjoy an actual sheet mask. Well, 2 actually, thanks to huge amount of essence! 😆

Based on my experience, I’m happy to report that the essence felt deeply hydrating (without being greasy or sticky) and firming (!). I was seriously impressed, and I even skipped my night cream that day! My skin felt plumped up and I could still feel the hydration boost when I woke up the next morning. So whilst the jelly mask itself is pretty useless, the essence is really powerful!

Skin Treats Unicorn Hydrating Sheet Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about a sheet mask that’s exclusive to B&M Bargains – Skin Treats Unicorn Hydrating Sheet Mask. My local B&M store stocks a number of different new sheet masks for £1 each, and I picked up quite a few!

This face masks promises to hydrate skin. It works like pretty much any other regular sheet mask out there. Once you’ve cleansed your face, place the sheet mask on your face, leave it on for about 15 minutes (I always leave sheet masks on until they’re dry), then take it off and massage the remaining essence into your skin.

This face mask contains a few ingredients that (I think) I’ve never heard of before, so I looked them up! Hydrolised sclerotium gum is a moisturising and soothing agent that protects the skin. Corn gluten amino acids have moisturising, smoothing (!) and relaxing properties. And when I looked into mozuku extract, I found out that mozuku is a type of edible seaweed which is also sold as a health supplement.

Onto the mask – isn’t it cute? I think this is the cutest sheet mask ever. It fits my face quite well, and it looks sensationally cute on! Those eyebrows, those nostrils, that horn – squeeee!!! 🦄😍

And what about the actual mask? I think this face mask is pretty awesome. The essence isn’t too runny, and most of it is actually in the mask and won’t get left behind in the sachet. I found this mask to be deeply hydrating and smoothing. Yes, my skin looked smoother than usual. The essence is a little sticky, but it’s not too noticeable unless you keep touching your face.

I would recommend Skin Treats Unicorn Hydrating Sheet Mask to anyone who likes sheet masks which are not just cute but also effective. I’ve already bought 5 more of these sheet masks on my last trip to B&M.
