Spascriptions Brightening Spa Treatment Mask With Vitamin C & Glycolic Acid

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Spascriptions Brightening Spa Treatment Mask with vitamin C and glycolic acid. This mask promises to brighten and to revitalise the skin.

You’re supposed use this mask after you’ve cleansed your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes, then rinse. On the back of the pack it also says that the mask should not be left on for longer as it might cause an allergic reaction. This sounds scary! So I looked at all the ingredients first. I was satisfied that there’s nothing in the essence that I don’t use regularly, so I was happy to give this mask a try.

I think this is a very good mask! Whilst the mask was on my face, I could feel that it did something. But it didn’t feel unpleasant, weird or scary at any point. When I took it off, I noticed that my skin looked indeed brighter. It was exciting to see! 😍 I have 4 more of these masks, and I’m looking forward to using these over the next few weeks or months.

Spascriptions Brightening Spa Treatment Mask is available as a pack of 5 masks. I paid £4.99 at TK Maxx – a total steal!

Spascriptions Anti-Aging Spa Treatment Mask With Grapefruit & Collagen

Hi there! Today’s post is about a face mask (well, a set of 5 masks) that I picked up a few weeks ago – Spascriptions Anti-Aging Spa Treatment Mask With Grapefruit & Collagen. This mask promises to improve the overall health and the appearance of the skin, and it claims to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and crow’s feet. On top of that, this mask promises to lift, firm and tone the skin, to fade age spots, and to increase skin luminosity.

How does it work? Cleanse your face before you use the mask, leave it on for 15 minutes, remove the mask, rinse off any residue – and that’s it. However, there’s also a word of warning on the back of the sachet. It’s made clear that you should not leave the mask on for longer than 15 minutes, and that you need to rinse your face immediately afterwards as otherwise you risk an allergic reaction. Scary!

Well, I used the mask anyway ( I started to read what’s on the back of the sachet after I’d put the mask on my face). So let me tell you about my experience!

First of all, I was hoping the mask would smell of grapefruits – but it doesn’t. The mask (well, the serum) has a standard cosmetical smell. It’s nice enough, but it’s nothing special.

When I put on the mask, I noticed that it felt cooling. And I really enjoyed the cooling sensation because it was pleasant and relaxing. This is what every single sheet mask should feel like!

Now… when I read the warning on the back of the sachet, I set a timer. When the 15 minutes were up, I didn’t do anything. I thought the mask felt awesome on my face, so it would be fine to leave it on for longer. However, about a minute later I noticed a slight tingling sensation. It didn’t feel scary, but I took off the mask and washed my face – just to be sure.

Then I looked in the mirror – and I saw instant results. Wow! Whilst I’m not obsessing over my fine lines, I do keep an eye on what’s happening with my face. And because of this I could tell that this mask works. The fine lines on my forehead were almost gone – my forehead looked pretty much like 3 years ago (that’s when my lines started to form). And the lines around my nose were significantly reduced – there was a huge difference to how visible these lines were under my make-up.

Whilst the effect was only temporary (it lasted for a day and a half), I’m quite impressed that this mask delivered real results. Because of this I’ll make sure to keep the other 4 masks for when I want to look fresher and younger. The occasion could be anything really – it could be a weekend away with my husband, or it could be a job interview…

In summary, I would recommend this face mask to everyone! Spascriptions Anti-Aging Spa Treatment Masks With Grapefruit & Collagen are available as sets of 5 masks for £4.99 (TK Maxx) which is a total bargain. And if you consider that 1 sachet contains enough serum for 2 to 3 uses, you can have a proper rejuvenating facial treatment at home for 33p!

So keep in mind that you can buy plain, compressed sheet masks which you can just pop into the sachets. The compressed masks will soak up the serum, so you have another sheet mask ready within a few hours, and you can be sure that you don’t waste any of the precious serum.

Have you tried this face mask? Or would you like to try it? Feel free to get in touch. And thanks for reading! 🙂
