nails-mask-2
Thursday’s post was a nail post. I did this mani for my very own 31 Days Nail Art Challenge. Click here if you’d like to know which products I used and which song inspired me to do this mani.

On Friday I reviewed Montagne Jeunesse’s Glacial Clay Spa mask. I’ve never used fabric masks before, but this one was really good, and now I want to try more fabric masks. If you’d like to read the review, click here.

This is it for this week. Thanks for reading. And enjoy the rest of the weekend! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Models Own Asscher Blue, Rimmel 60 Seconds 311 Caramel Cupcake, NYC Expert Last 154 Midnight Confetti / Nail Art Challenge #22 Inspired By A Song

upload-1Hi there! Today’s post is the next chapter of the 31 Days Nail Art Challenge which I’m doing as a lifetime challenge.

This mani is challenge #22 Inspired By A Song. And – you may have guessed it already – that song is The Last Unicorn. 🙂

For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel 60 Seconds 311 Caramel Cupcake (accent nail =  ring finger on the right hand) and Models Own Asscher Blue (the remaining 9 nails).

Asscher Blue is a poor quality polish. It dries extremely slow – and I had to apply four coats to get decent coverage. The Rimmel polish is fantastic – perfect brush, perfect formula, fully opaque in one easy coat.

The glitter polish I used to enhance the unicorn magic is NYC Expert Last 154 Midnight Confetti. This is a fantastic glitter polish – it looks great and despite being glittery, this polish feels perfectly smooth on my nails.

The unicorn on my ring finger is a decal – but you probably guessed that already. I only did an accent nail on my right hand. That’s because the song is about the last unicorn and not the last unicorns. So yes, all the nails on my left hand are blue and glittery.

How do you like this mani? I like it and I think it turned out better than I had expected. Feel free to let me know what you think. And thanks for stopping by!
