A-Z Nail Art Challenge

Hi there! I’ve just completed the 31 Days Nail Art Challenge. Whilst I feel quite proud of myself, I’ve already looked up new nail art challenges. I found all sorts of different challenges, and some of them are rather demanding. So I opted for a challenge that I think I should be able to complete – the A-Z Nail Art Challenge!

The beauty of this challenge is that you can make up your own challenge. All you have to do is take 2 minutes out of your life to think up different challenges – one for every letter in the alphabet. Here’s what I’ve come up with:

Animals
Blue
Coral
Diva
Exotic
Fuzzy Topper
Galaxies
Holo
Inspired By A Colour
Joyful
Kitties
Love
Movie
Night Time
Out Of Space
Purple
Quick & Easy
Red
Summer
TV
Underwater
Vibrant
Whatever I Want
X-Plain To Me Why You’re Doing Red Nails Again…
Yellow
Zebra
ENCORE – Recreate A Favourite πŸ™‚

I’ll be completing the A-Z Nail Art Challenge over the next few months. I don’t know how long it’ll take, but the one thing I know is that I won’t be doing the manis in alphabetical order. Oh, and I might change the individual challenges if I have a better idea. I already changed “Green” to “Galaxies”! πŸ™‚

I won’tbe recycling any photos of manis I’ve already done. I’ll be doing new manis, but I might recycle my own ideas. πŸ™‚ In case you’re wondering about the photos in this post… well, they’re here because I didn’t want to do a text-only post. And since I already had these photos in my media library, I thought I might as well just recycle them for this post. But again, the manis I’ll be doing for the A-Z Nail Art Challenge will be new manis.

What do you think of this Nail Art Challenge? Is this something you can see yourself doing? Feel free to get in touch via the comments. And thanks for stopping by! πŸ™‚

Nail Of The Day – Manhattan Buffalo 12 & Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear 235 Supernova / Nail Art Challenge #18 My Husband’s Polish Picks

Hi there! I’ve got a nail of the day post for you today. I let my husband choose the base colour and the glitter top coat, and this is the result!

For this mani I painted my nails with Manhattan Buffalo 12 (2 coats). And I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear 235 Supernova to add a touch of glitter. This mani is also challenge #18 My Husband’s Polish Picks of the 31 Days Nail Art Challenge.

OK, challenge #18 should have been ‘half moons’ but I couldn’t bring myself to attempt ‘proper’ half moon nails. I’ve looked up countless half moon manis over the past few months, but there wasn’t a single mani that I found at least semi-likeable.

Sure, there were lots of manis that were extremely well done. However, I really don’t like the look of half moon nails, so I’ve just replaced this challenge. πŸ™‚

By the way, I really liked my husband’s polish picks. The base colour is really pretty, and the glitter is one of my all-time favourites – but my husband knows that, that’s why he chose this glitter topper. Feel free to comment if you want to. And thanks for reading!

Nail Of The Day – Galaxy Nails / Nail Art Challenge #31 Recreate A Favourite – Galaxies

Hi there! Today’s post is about the galaxy mani I did the other day. For this super easy mani I painted my nails with Revlon 999 Blackest Black (2 coats).

Then I used small pieces of a make-up sponge to apply different colour polishes to my nails.

I used 4 different Essence Colour Boost nail colours: Instant Friendship (pale nude pink), Instant Feeling (dusty lavender), Instant Summer (yellow), and Instant Match (blue).

I liked how my nails looked at this point. However, I knew I wanted star dust too! So I applied 1 coat of the one and only Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear 235 Supernova.

This mani is 1 of the 3 encores I’m doing for the 31 Days Nail Art Challenge. This would be challenge #31 Recreate A Favourite II.

How do you like this mani? I have to say that I love it. I can’t stop staring at my nails! πŸ˜€ Feel free to let me know if you like this mani. And thanks for reading!

Nail Of The Day – Astor Lacque Deluxe 875 Electric Blue & Essence Glamaxy Top Coat 34 Glamaxy Far, Far Away / Nail Art Challenge #31 Recreate A Favourite – Blue Nails

Hi there! Today’s Nail Of The Day post is about a simple mani I did recently.

For this mani I painted my nails with Astor Lacque Deluxe 875 Electric Blue (2 coats). I love this polish. The formula is a dream and the colour is amazing.

The cute flakie topper is Essence Glamaxy Top Coat 34 Glamaxy Far, Far Away. I bought this topper recently, and I’m glad I did!

I really liked this mani. It was a very simple mani, but it was really pretty.

With this mani I’ve also completed challenge #31 of the 31 Days Nail Art Challenge. Awesome! However, I might redo two more challenges – galaxy nails and glitter nails! πŸ™‚

How do you like this mani? Do you love flakie top coats? Feel free to get in touch via the comments. Thanks for stopping by!

Nail Of The Day – Revlon Colorstay 100 Buttercup & Stamping With Bundle Monster BM-S162 / Nail Art Challenge #27 Inspired By Artwork

Hi there! Today’s post is about a recent mani I did for the 31 Days Nail Art Challenge. With this mani I’ve completed challenge #27 Inspired By Artwork!

The artwork in question is the black cats print on the pale yellow scarf that one of my co-workers has been wearing for quite some time.

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon Colorstay 100 Buttercup (2 coats). I don’t love this colour, but it came in handy for this mani!

The stamping plate I used is Bundle Monster’s BM-S162 plate (which is part of Bundle Monster’s Fuzzy and Ferocious collection).

The black stamping polish (not a real stamping polish) is Rimmel 60 Seconds 820 Hot Black To Go.

I didn’t like this mani at all. I rushed it, and it shows. I wore this mani for one day only. However, I’m glad I’ve completed the dreaded ‘artwork challenge’. Yay! πŸ™‚
