Claire’s Vanilla Cookie Flavoured Lip Balm, Claire’s Trifle Flavoured Lip Balm

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 lip balms I found at Claire’s – Claire’s Vanilla Cookie Flavoured Lip Balm and Claire’s Trifle Flavoured Lip Balm. I started to use these lip balms about a week before Christmas. And here’s what I think.

Claire’s Vanilla Cookie Flavoured Lip Balm is a pinkish-tinted lip balm. The pale pink tint is visible, and it doesn’t look flattering. The flavour is a bit random – definitely sweet, but nothing that could pass for vanilla, cookie or vanilla cookie. The lip balm is super soft and creamy, and it won’t stay on if you eat or drink.

Claire’s Trifle Flavoured Lip Balm is a purple-tinted, soft lip balm. The tint doesn’t show on the lips which is nice. The flavour reminds me of candy violets – I like it! This lip balm is also on the softer side, but fortunately not overly creamy, so it will stay on while you drink (not while you eat thought).

Lip balm 1 is a bit of a disappointment, but lip balm 2 is actually quite nice. In any event, I paid £1 per lip balm, so I can’t complain…

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel 60 Seconds 625 Sir Yes Sir, Essie Rock At The Top & Stamping With Nicole Diary 076

Hi there! Welcome to Nail Week. I’ll be posting about manis only until Sunday. Without further ado, here’s the first mani.

Alrighty! For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel 60 Seconds 625 Sir Yes Sir (2 coats, pinkies, ring fingers).

The pretty top coat is Essie Rock At The Top (1 coat).

The light blue base on my thumbs, index and middle fingers is a nameless mini nail polish from Claire’s Accessories (3 coats – 2 would have been fine too).

For the images I used my Nicole Diary 076 stamping plate.

I double-stamped using a grey polish (NYC In A Minute 019 A Perfect Day) and a black polish (some old Rimmel polish).

Claire’s Candy Cane Lip Balm, Claire’s Christmas Pudding Lip Balm, Manhattan Colour Loop Lipgloss 52S Soft Nude

Hi there! Today’s post is about a number of products. Since the reviews are rather short, I thought I’d do one post for all of them. And here they are…

Product number 1 is Claire’s Candy Cane Lip Balm which I picked up when it was on sale. I believe it was £1. I’ve given this lip balm a try, and I don’t like it at all. It has a slight red tint. Whilst this isn’t a deal-breaker, the boring red tea flavour is! I can’t bring myself to use it. I’ve binned it.

Claire’s Christmas Pudding Lip Balm is alright. It has a light brown tint, and it actually tastes like Christmas pudding. It’s not my favourite lip balm, but it’s definitely a decent one! I believe I paid £1 for it.

And here’s my favourite of the bunch – Manhattan Colour Loop Lipgloss 52S Soft Nude. I’ve already gone through one of these amazing lipglosses (yes, the same shade), and I just had to repurchase it! I also bought 2 other colours, but this one’s perfect for me. I love the sheer tint, and the flavour is sweet and lovely. I paid £1 for this lipgloss (Poundland).

Have you tried these products? Would you like to try them? Feel free to comment, and thanks for stopping by!

Nail Of The Day – Manhattan M&Buffalo 18, Claire’s Green Splatter & Stamping With MoYou London Tropical 14 / 31 Day Nail Art Challenge #4 Green Nails

Hi there! This is another mani I did not too long ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Manhattan M&Buffalo 18 (2 coats). This is a lovely polish.

The glitter top coat I used on my pinkies and ring fingers is Claire’s Green Splatter. I think this top coat looks amazing! 😍

For the images on my thumbs, index and ring fingers I used MoYou London‘s Tropical 14 stamping plate and MoYou London‘s Little Pickle stamping polish.

This is not my favourite mani, but it was nice to wear it for a few days.

Claire’s Popcorn Popcorn Flavoured Lip Balm

Hi there! Today’s post is about a lip balm that I bought a little while ago for £1Claire’s Popcorn Popcorn Flavoured Lip Balm. I know I say this all the time, so here it goes again… I have too many lip balms, and I didn’t really need this one, but it looked too cute to resist! 🙂

How’s the lip balm? It’s brilliant! It hydrates my lips perfectly, and it really tastes and smells like popcorn. The flavour is 100% spot on! I’m keeping this lip balm in my make-up bag or on my desk, and several co-workers have commented on how cute it is. I should have bought 10 of these lip balms to give away to a few friends and co-workers, so that they could experience this freakinshly fantastic popcorn flavour too!

100% Kawaii – Claire’s Meringue Flavoured Lip Balm

Hi there! Today’s short post is about a lip balm I picked up for £1 – it’s Claire’s Meringue Flavoured Lip Balm. I didn’t really need another lip balm, but I couldn’t resist the insanely cute packaging. I mean, look at it! Now let me tell you if this lip balm is any good…

This lip balm is bright pink in colour. But fortunately it only leaves a smidgen of colour on my lips. I think this lip balm is convenient to use because it’s one of those super-soft lip balms. Very nice! However, the flavour isn’t a meringue flavour, but a random sweet and fruity flavour.

I like this lip balm! It’s really good, I enjoy using it, and those cute meringue faces never fail to put a smile on my face. I have a few more cute Claire’s lip balms, and I’ll try to review them asap. 🙂
