Sanctuary Spa Foaming Bath Soak, Sanctuary Spa Ultra Rich Wet Skin Moisture Miracle

Hi there! Today’s post is about Sanctuary Spa Foaming Bath Soak and Sanctuary Spa Ultra Rich Wet Skin Moisture Miracle. These are travel sizes which were part of a gift set I bought for myself.

Alrighty, let’s start with Sanctuary Spa Foaming Bath Soak. The 75ml bottle is sufficient for 1 bath. I took a cool bath the other day, and I enjoyed it very much. I loved the foam and the bubbles, the gorgeous Sanctuary Spa fragrance, and I’m happy that the product didn’t dry out my skin. I would definitely buy the full size (on a 3 for 2 special, of course).

Sanctuary Spa Ultra Rich Wet Skin Moisture Miracle is meant to be used as an in-shower moisturiser. Take your shower as usual, then turn off the water, then apply the product all over your body while the skin is still wet. Then towel your skin dry as usual.

I think this product is really good. I’ve used it about 9 or 10 times now, and I’d say there’s enough product left in the 50ml tube for another 5 uses. It’s not as nourishing as an actual body lotion or body butter, but if you don’t have much time, this stuff is really helpful. Also, the lovely Sanctuary Spa fragrance is an added bonus.

Sanctuary Spa Foaming Bath Soak is available as 500ml for £12. Sanctuary Spa Ultra Rich Wet Skin Moisture Miracle is available as 200ml for £10. Boots often runs promotions on the Sanctuary Spa line. It’s 25% on most Sanctuary Spa products right now. Also, on the back of the bottles, it says that the Sanctuary Spa products are now vegan-friendly.

Sanctuary Spa Salt Scrub

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Sanctuary Spa Salt Scrub. This is a single-use scrub, and it was part of one of the Sanctuary Spa Christmas gift sets I bought for half price on Boxing Day. This salt scrub contains Dead Sea salts and a blend of jojoba, coconut and almond oils. It promises to exfoliate and nourish skin in one go.

There are 2 ways to use this scrub. If you use it in the shower, rub the scrub into wet skin. But you can also use it in the bath. In this case, rub it over dry skin, then carefully (!) step into the bath and let the warm water melt away the salts!

I’ve given this scrub a try, and I think it’s excellent. It’s a typical salt scrub – it’s a very effective exfoliant, but it also nourishes the skin. I enjoyed it very much! The fragrance is the typical Sanctuary Spa fragrance. So whilst this scrub contains coconut oil, I’m happy to report that it doesn’t smell of coconut at all.

What else? Of course, this type of products leaves the shower or bath slippery, so please be super careful and get your partner, child, house-mate, etc to clean the shower or bath tub. 😁 Hey, this is a spa treatment. You’re not supposed to clean your own bathroom right after!

If you’re interested, Sanctuary Spa Salt Scrub is available as 650g for £14.

HAUL! New Products From Boots, No 7, Sanctuary Spa, Marks & Spencer, Fragonard, Olay, Westlab, Radox, Dead Sea & More

Hi there! Today’s post is about most of the stuff I bought since the post-Christmas sale started. I’m saying most of the stuff because I always forget a lot… OK, let’s take a look at the goodies!

Boots Skincare Treats The Discovery Collection – this was £10 on Boxing Day. I bought 3 of these. The 2 moisturisers are worth £25 alone! The set would have been great value for full price = £20, but it was the most amazing bargain for half price on Boxing Day!

I bought more face masks – but what else is new? Some half price Disney masks, some £1 masks from B&M Bargains.

The Sanctuary Spa Celebration Hamper – this was £20 on Boxing Day and it had the following goodies:

These look amazing!

And these too!

I bought a few more products from Boots’ discontinued Live + Be range. The cheapest item was £1, the most expensive item was £1.75.

A few more Live + Be products.

I also bought fragrances from M&S. The first 2 were £9.50, the third was £12.50. All of them are repurchases.

I bought a number of different Westlab bath salts, the one above was £2.99 at Boots.

I also bought more Radox bath salts. The one above was £2.25 at Sainsburys.

2 more Radox shower gels – these were about £1.30 (or so) each at Superdrug.

Fragonard Belle De Nuit fragrance – £20 at M&S, the Olay Face Wash was £2.09 at Boots, the the Botanics Face Scrub was 33p (£2.33 plus 200 Advantage points for buying a Botanics product).

I also rescued 2 Dead Sea Natural Mineral Soaps from the clearance bin.

And this is it! Quite a bit, eh? Well, what can I say. I’ll always be a bargain hunter! Thanks for stopping by today! 😊

Sanctuary Spa Mandelular Sensuous Body Scrub

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Sanctuary Spa Mandelular Sensuous Body Scrub. I found this body scrub in my stash, and I thought it looked promising, so I decided that I should (finally) give it a try. And that’s what I did!

I think Sanctuary Spa Mandelular Sensuous Body Scrub is simply amazing. I’m enjoying the classic Sanctuary Spa fragrance, and I love the runny-yet-gooey texture of the scrub. What else? The scrub is easy to use, and it exfoliates my skin without being harsh. Another big plus is that the scrub doesn’t leave a sticky residue behind. This is an outstanding product!

Sanctuary Spa Mandelular Sensuous Body Scrub is available as 500ml. I’ve also seen a moisturiser from this collection, and I’m keen to give that product a try too!

Empties – January 2020

Hi there! The first month of 2020 is already over (What? How?), and I’ve got quite a few empties to report. Yes, I used a few single use face masks. No, I still don’t keep the empty sachets. But if you’d like to know if the masks I used recently are any good, click here. Now, onto the big empties!

1 Gliss Hair Repair Magnificent Strength Conditioner – this is a great product, and I’ll buy it (+ the matching shampoo) again!

2 Rightguard Shower + Elixir Black Orchid Shower Cream – this is a great shower cream! I already bought a backup! This is a shared empty because my husband enjoyed this shower cream too!

3 Treacle Moon Her Mango Thoughts Shower Gel – a nice enough shower gel, but I won’t repurchase it. The 500ml bottle was plenty!

4 Radox Cherry Blast Shower Gel – this is a nice shower gel. I might buy it again if I find it for cheap.

5 Classics Nail Polish Remover – my go-to nail polish remover. It’s £1 at Poundland!

6 Yves Rocher Nutritive Végétal Velvety Cleansing Milk – this is a lovely product that I’d like to repurchase!

7 Balance Active Formula Instant Effect Wrinkle Filler – this stuff doesn’t fill lines or wrinkles at all, but it’s a decent moisturiser. I won’t buy it again though. There’s better stuff out there.

8 My Little Pony Bath Bubbles (travel size)- this one was nice. I might purchase another MLP toiletries set!

9 + 10 99p Stores Wood & Forest Body Lotion AND The Red Forest Body Lotion (travel size) – I bought these ages ago, and because of this, I used these body lotions as foot moisturisers. These are shared empties because my husband used these too!

11 Yves Rocher Baies Des Merveilles / Marvellous Berries Bath & Shower Gel – a lovely shower gel that I’d buy it again if it hadn’t been a limited edition.

12 Yves Rocher Baies Des Merveilles / Marvellous Berries Perfumed Body Lotion – same thing here – I wish this hadn’t been a limited edition…

13 Boots Botanics All Bright Cleansing Toner – a great toner! I’ll repurchase it for sure!

14 Sanctuary Spa Classic Eau De Toilette – I love this fragrance! I’ve got several bottles from years of picking up half price gift sets on Boxing Day! 😁

15 Rightguard Shower Oils Pink Jasmine Shower Gel – a nice shower gel that I might buy again.

16 Superdrug B. Comforted Camomile Facial Spritz – this is a decent facial mist, but I dislike the fragrance, so I won’t buy it again.

17 Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Care All Over Body Cream With Moonstone Extract – an amazing moisturiser. Too bad it was a limited edition. This is the 2nd (and unfortunately the last) tub I had. If Superdrug ever decides to bring this product back, I’ll stock up!

18 Boots Botanics Luxurious Coconut Body Wash (travel size) – a nice enough shower gel. I have more minis from this range!

Wow, I emptied quite a lot in January! But to be fair, I had to get on top of all the half-full bottles and tubs before the move. And I have high hopes for February as well, so I’ll keep going! 💪 Which products have you said goodbye to recently? Please feel free to comment! And thanks for stopping by!

Sanctuary Spa Intensive Heel Balm

Hi there! Today’s post is about the foot cream I’ve been using since early January – Sanctuary Spa Intensive Heel Balm.

This product promises “pampering moisture and concentrated nourishment” to make rough and dry heels feel super soft.

How’s the product? I think it’s awesome! It’s rich, but not greasy, and a little goes a long way. And it really helps with cracked heels!

OK, my feet are actually fine because I apply lotion or cream every day, but my husband’s feet… you don’t want to know! 😀

But guess what – this heel balm took care of my husband’s cracked heels – in 4 days. Is this awesome or what? I’m impressed!

The Sanctuary Spa Heel Balm is available as 75ml for £7.50. It’s not cheap. However, if you’re looking for a product that will take care of dry feet and cracked heels, you should give it a try!

Sanctuary Spa Cleanse 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask

Hi there! I’ve got another face mask review for you today. 🙂 The Sanctuary Spa Cleanse 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask is a self-heating mask. It contains charcoal and essentials oils which promise to cleanse and purify the skin.

When I applied the mask, it felt warm. However, the warming effect lasted for just a few seconds. I left the mask on for about an hour before I washed it off with a foaming cleanser and a sponge.

I didn’t think that my skin felt particularly soft or that my pores looked different. But the mask did a great job around my nose! All in all, I am happy that the mask gave the skin around my nose a deep cleanse. However, the mask didn’t do much else, so I don’t think that I’d repurchase it.

The Sanctuary Spa Cleanse 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask is available as 15ml (sachet) for £2.99 and 100ml (tube) for £10.

Boxing Day Haul – Lots Of New Stuff

Hi there! Today’s post is about all the stuff I bought on Boxing Day + 1 present I received. I won’t be doing a big intro today. So let me just show you the stuff. 🙂

I got this The Body Shop gift set as a present. It contained 3 Almond Milk & Honey products + 1 body puff.

I bought this Boots No 7 Youthful Skincare Collection set. It was £10.

It contained 6 products – facial oil, serum, day & night creams, exfoliator, micellar water.

I only paid £5 for this Boots Extracts Sweet Mango set. Awesome value! The set contained 200ml body wash, 200ml body lotion, 70ml body spray, 50ml sugar scrub.

I bought a Sanctuary Spa toiletries set. It was £12.50.

The set contained 4 full-size products: hand cream, body wash, bath soak, body butter.

I also bought this year’s Boots Extracts limited edition toiletries collection – for £7.

This year’s limited edition is called Tangy Passion Fruit. The big tin contained 200ml body wash, 200ml body lotion, 200ml sugar scrub, and 75ml hand cream.

I also bought this year’s Boots Extracts “4 seasons” set. It was £10. I didn’t take a picture of the packaging because it was kind of bulky. Anyhoo… the set contained 4 body washes…

… 4 body lotions…

… 2 body butters, and 2 sugar scrubs. Awesome stuff!

This is everything I bought on Boxing Day. I managed to restrain myself – I only bought the bare necessities.

Have you been sale shopping? What did you buy? Feel free to get in touch. And thanks for reading!

Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Cloudberry & Lychee Blossom Body Mist, Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Chilli Mango & Tonka Bean Body Mist

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 body sprays I picked up a few months ago – Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Cloudberry & Lychee Blossom Body Mist and Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Chilli Mango & Tonka Bean Body Mist.

Being By Sanctuary Spa is a relatively new body care collection – there are shower gels, body scrubs, body butters, body mists, cosmetics bags… and so on. I would have liked to try the body butters, but they’re £10 each – and I think that’s just too expensive for a run-of-the-mill moisturiser. But when the body mists were on special, I bought 2! So let me tell you if these body mists are any good. 🙂

Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Cloudberry & Lychee Blossom Body Mist smells of lychee, berries and water lilies. It smells cheap. It’s the definition of a cheap body mist. I tried to get rid of it, but – surprise, surprise – none of my colleagues wanted it. I’ll pass it on to my teenage relative.

Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Chilli Mango & Tonka Bean Body Mist is alright, and I think I’ll finish it. This body mist smells of mangoes and fruit punch. There’s nothing even remotely spicy about it. It’s a random fruity body spray. If you’re looking for a lovely mango fragrance, you must try Boots Extracts Sweet Mango Body Spray.

By the way, the Chilli Mango & Tonka Bean Body Mist wasn’t my first choice. I actually picked up the Salted Caramel & Macadamia Nut Body Mist from the same collection because the matching body butter smelled delicious. However, I returned the caramel & macadamia body mist the next day because it smelled of burned bread. It was disgusting.

I don’t think I’ll be picking up any other Being By Sanctuary Spa products. The entire line seems to be way too expensive for what it is. If you’re interested… Being By Sanctuary Spa Body Mists are available as 100ml for £5 each. I picked them up when they were on special (I believe it was a Save 1/3 offer).

Major Haul! Awesome New Products / Beauty Stuff I Bought In September And October

Hi there! I forgot to do a haul post last month, so today I’m showing you what I bought in September and October. 🙂

I bought a set of 5 SpaScriptions face masks – the set was £4.99. I also bought a set of 5 panda face masks – this set was £4.99 as well. TK Maxx

I bought a Superfacialist Rose Hydrate Mask (£4), a large 1kg Kallos Multivitamin hair mask (£7.99), and a Superfacialist Rose Hydrate Creamy Cleanser (£4). TK Maxx

I picked up 3 Superdrug items – a Salted Caramel Shower & Bath Soak (£1.47), a Glycolic Tonic (=toner) and another Glycolic Overnight Peel to replace the one I finished. The last 2 products were £5.99 each, but there was a buy 1 get 1 free offer, so I paid £5.99 in total for the 2 Naturally Radiant products.

I got a few more masks – I couldn’t resist those Hunny Bee grapefruit masks (£4.99 for a set of 5 masks), and I bought another SpaScriptions mask set (£4.99 for a set of 5 masks). TK Maxx

I found an Argan & Marula shampoo and conditioner combo (99p each) and a My Little Pony shower gel (99p). Home Bargains

I got another Superfacialist Rose Hydrate product – I bought the Day Cream (£6.99), and I picked up 2 Sanctuary Spa Being fragrances (£3.75 each). And I spent £6.99 on my Superfacialist Vitamin C + Brighten night cream. TK Maxx, Boots

The Zatik Passionfruit Cacao Lotion was £5, the Scinic Vita Ade Eye Cream was £6, and the Scinic Sparkling Pore Toner was £6 as well. TK Maxx

I bought a big It’s True Moisture Cream (£9.99), a Smack Beauty Firming Night Cream (£3), and another Hunny Bee mask set (£4.99 for 5 masks). TK Maxx

I got my hands on a Skin Care Chemist Macadamia Beauty Oil (£3), and I bought a Sukin Chia Seed Oil+ Foaming Facial Cleanser set. The set was £7.99 which is excellent value because the chia seed oil is usually £14.95 on its own! TK Maxx

And I bought 2 big jars of compressed sheet masks. These were £4.99 each. The bamboo jar contained 22 masks, the assorted jar contained 23 masks. TK Maxx

This is everything I bought in September and October. It’s quite a lot, I think. 🙂 Have you tried any of these products? Or would you like to try any of them? Feel free to comment. And thanks for reading!
