Café De Bain Softening Shower Gel – Sweet Vanilla Madeleine, Raspberry & Rose Crème Tarte

Hi there! Today’s post is about Café De Bain Sweet Vanilla Madeleine and Raspberry & Rose Crème Tarte shower crèmes which I picked up a little while ago (Superdrug).

Let’s start with Café De Bain Sweet Vanilla Madeleine! This shower cream smells like Werther’s Originals Butter Candies. 100% delicious! I also like that this shower cream is not drying at all. This one’s really nice!
Cafe De Bain Shower
Café De Bain Raspberry & Rose Crème Tarte shower cream is just as gentle on the skin. This shower cream smells sweet and fruity, but it’s not sugary-sweet. I’d describe the scent as a mix of milk and red fruits with a hint of coconut.

Café De Bain Sweet Vanilla Madeleine and Raspberry & Rose Crème Tarte shower crèmes are available as 250ml for £2.99 each. I paid £1.49 each (half price offer). 🙂

Radox Passion Fruit Splash & Mango Mayhem

Hi there! Whilst I love chocolate, vanilla and caramel scented shower and bath products this time of year, I hate the cold. So I often use fresh and fruity shower gels as a pick-me-up and to remind me of my favourite season = summer!

At the moment I’m using two fruity shower gels which I picked up at Poundworld – for £1 each. Now meet Radox Passion Fruit Splash and Radox Mango Mayhem.
Radox Shower
Radox Passion Fruit Splash (a.k.a. Radox Feel Bubbly) with passion fruit and tangerine oil is sunshine in a bottle. The tangerine oil adds a crisp and tangy note, so this shower gel isn’t as sweet as I expected it to be. However, it’s very summery and exotic. I really like it!

Radox Mango Mayhem (a.k.a. Radox Feel Fabulous) with tropical mango and grapefruit oil is a fantastic shower gel. It’s summer in a bottle. The fragrance is sunny and juicy – it’s gorgeous! This is one of the nicest mango shower gels I’ve ever had. It’s almost as good as Boots Extracts’ mango shower gel. But this one is much cheaper! Well done, Radox!

If you’d like to try these shower gels, you should swing by your local bargain stores! 🙂 Thanks for reading!

Suitable For Vegans – Original Source Shower Plum & Blackcurrant, Raspberry & Cocoa and Wild Cherry & Nettle

Hi there! I haven’t reviewed any Original Source products in a while. But now’s the time to look at a few fruity shower gels. Meet Original Source Plum & Blackcurrant, Raspberry And Cocoa, and Wild Cherry And Nettle. These shower gels are suitable for vegans – they’re approved by The Vegan Society.
Original Source Shower
Original Source Plum & Blackcurrant is surprisingly refreshing. I thought the plum fragrance would make this shower gel a bit too sweet for summer – but I was wrong. The fragrance actually reminds me of blackcurrant cough lozenges – in a good way. It smells like blackcurrant juice and green currant buds. So yes, this one is definitely suitable for warm summer days.

Original Source Raspberry And Cocoa isn’t my favourite. This fragrant combination smells a bit weird. It’s not bad, but it’s not what I expected – and I can’t smell any raspberries or cocoa. I don’t really care for this shower gel (and neither does my husband), so this one might end up in the hand wash dispenser.

Original Source Wild Cherry And Nettle is another nice surprise. And it’s another shower gel that reminds me of cough lozenges – cherry-flavoured ones, of course. The fragrance isn’t as strong as the plum & blackcurrant fragrance, but it’s definitely yummy!

The RRP for 250ml Original Source shower gels is usually around £2 – but you can find these shower gels for £1 (Poundland and the likes) or less (special offer).

Thank you for stopping by. I really appreciate it. 🙂

100% Extra Free! Imperial Leather Relaxing Shower Cream, Revitalising Shower Gel

Hi there! I’m always bargain hunting so it’s no surprise that I’m a regular at Poundworld, Poundland, Home Bargains, etc. Just a few weeks ago I found these 500 ml Imperial Leather shower gels for £1. I haven’t had these before, so I had to have them now.

Now meet Imperial Leather Relaxing Shower Cream with lavender and nightblooming jasmin and Imperial Leather Revitalising Shower Gel with uplifting summer fruits!
Imperial Leather Shower
I really love the Relaxing Shower Cream. It ‘s hydrating and it feels great on the skin. I also like the scent. I find most lavender scented products to smell a bit harsh, but this shower cream has a pleasant floral fragrance. Well done, Imperial Leather!

The Revitalising Shower Gel smells fruity and summery – nice! However, I think this is one is one of the most drying shower gels I’ve used in the past couple of months. I think it would be OK if you don’t have dry skin, but if you do have dry skin, you won’t be able to skip the moisturiser after the shower.

If you too can’t resist anything that says 100% Extra Free, you should pop by your local Poundland to see if they stock these huge 500 ml Imperial Leather shower products. I’ll definitely go back soon to check if they’ve got any other fragrances. 🙂

Superdrug Orange & Satsuma Shower Gel, Dragonfruit & Vanilla Shower Cream

Hi there! A couple of weeks ago the weather changed from spring-like to rainy, cold and grey again. I wanted a little pick-me-up, just something cheap to cheer me up. So I bought these two body washes – Superdrug Orange & Satsuma Shower Gel and Dragonfruit & Vanilla Shower Cream.

Superdrug Orange & Satsuma Shower Gel is refreshing and energising and its sunny and summery scent is just what I wanted. I can see this one becoming a favourite for the summer months ahead.

I was quite pleased with Superdrug Dragonfruit & Vanilla Shower Cream as well. Its scent reminds me of fruity yoghurt. Yum! It’s also quite gentle on the skin. And I’ll be buying this one again for sure.

Superdrug does a 2 for £1.70 deal at the moment – so I will be trying some of the other scents (lemon, shea butter, lime etc…) too.
