Soap & Glory Clean On Me, Soap & Glory The Scrub Of Your Life

Hi there! Today’s post is about Soap & Glory Clean On Me and Soap & Glory The Scrub Of Your Life. These products were part of a big Soap & Glory gift set which I picked up for half price (Boxing Day sale).

Soap & Glory Clean On Me is an OK shower gel. The creamy formula is nice, and if you like the girly Soap & Glory fragrance, this product is probably right up your alley. However, the pump is very annoying. I didn’t count, but I think it took about 20 pumps for half a handful of shower gel.

Soap & Glory The Scrub Of Your Life is a really good body scrub. I like how effective it is! What a nice surprise! I’m not the biggest fan of the pink scent, but this is a great product in every other way. My favourite Soap & Glory product so far!

If you’re interested, Soap & Glory Clean On Me is available as 500ml for £6.50. Soap & Glory The Scrub Of Your Life is available as 200ml for £7.

Sanctuary Spa Foaming Bath Soak, Sanctuary Spa Ultra Rich Wet Skin Moisture Miracle

Hi there! Today’s post is about Sanctuary Spa Foaming Bath Soak and Sanctuary Spa Ultra Rich Wet Skin Moisture Miracle. These are travel sizes which were part of a gift set I bought for myself.

Alrighty, let’s start with Sanctuary Spa Foaming Bath Soak. The 75ml bottle is sufficient for 1 bath. I took a cool bath the other day, and I enjoyed it very much. I loved the foam and the bubbles, the gorgeous Sanctuary Spa fragrance, and I’m happy that the product didn’t dry out my skin. I would definitely buy the full size (on a 3 for 2 special, of course).

Sanctuary Spa Ultra Rich Wet Skin Moisture Miracle is meant to be used as an in-shower moisturiser. Take your shower as usual, then turn off the water, then apply the product all over your body while the skin is still wet. Then towel your skin dry as usual.

I think this product is really good. I’ve used it about 9 or 10 times now, and I’d say there’s enough product left in the 50ml tube for another 5 uses. It’s not as nourishing as an actual body lotion or body butter, but if you don’t have much time, this stuff is really helpful. Also, the lovely Sanctuary Spa fragrance is an added bonus.

Sanctuary Spa Foaming Bath Soak is available as 500ml for £12. Sanctuary Spa Ultra Rich Wet Skin Moisture Miracle is available as 200ml for £10. Boots often runs promotions on the Sanctuary Spa line. It’s 25% on most Sanctuary Spa products right now. Also, on the back of the bottles, it says that the Sanctuary Spa products are now vegan-friendly.

Imperial Leather Tropical Rainforest & Exotic Papaya Shower Gel, Imperial Leather Cotton Clouds & White Cashmere Shower Cream

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 shower gels I’m using at the moment – Imperial Leather Tropical Rainforest & Exotic Papaya Shower Gel and Imperial Leather Cotton Clouds & White Cashmere Shower Cream.

Let’s start with Imperial Leather Tropical Rainforest & Exotic Papaya Shower Gel which is simply amazing! I love everything about this shower gel – the formula, the lather, how gentle it is… and, of course, the fragrance! I can’t describe the fragrance in many words, but I can describe it in 1 word = paradise!

Onto Imperial Leather Cotton Clouds & White Cashmere Shower Cream which is really nice too. The scent of this shower gel is best described as a mix of sugarfree marshmallows and, indeed, cotton. I prefer the wonderful Tropical Rainforest scent, but Cotton Clouds is very good too!

Imperial Leather Tropical Rainforest & Exotic Papaya Shower Gel and Imperial Leather Cotton Clouds & White Cashmere Shower Cream are available as 250ml. I paid £1 each. I’ve also seen bigger bottles, but I’m not sure of the exact size (I assume those are 400ml or 500ml).

NSPA Fruit Extracts Luscious And Juicy Red Cherry Shower & Bath Gel

Hi there! Today’s post is about this NSPA Fruit Extracts Luscious And Juicy Red Cherry Shower & Bath Gel.

I’ve been using the matching body butter for a few weeks now, so I thought I should dig up the shower gel too.

Now that I’ve used this shower gel for a few times, I’m happy to report that I like it. It lathers up nicely, it smells of sweet cherries, and it’s not too harsh on the skin.

I haven’t used it as a bath gel, but I think it would be nice and bubbly.

I can see that the simple, linear fragrance might get old (it’s a 500ml bottle after all), but for now I am enjoying it.

NSPA Fruit Extracts Luscious And Juicy Red Cherry Shower & Bath Gel is available as 500ml for £3. I’m pretty sure I bought it when it was on special (probably half price).

Sanctuary Spa Salt Scrub

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Sanctuary Spa Salt Scrub. This is a single-use scrub, and it was part of one of the Sanctuary Spa Christmas gift sets I bought for half price on Boxing Day. This salt scrub contains Dead Sea salts and a blend of jojoba, coconut and almond oils. It promises to exfoliate and nourish skin in one go.

There are 2 ways to use this scrub. If you use it in the shower, rub the scrub into wet skin. But you can also use it in the bath. In this case, rub it over dry skin, then carefully (!) step into the bath and let the warm water melt away the salts!

I’ve given this scrub a try, and I think it’s excellent. It’s a typical salt scrub – it’s a very effective exfoliant, but it also nourishes the skin. I enjoyed it very much! The fragrance is the typical Sanctuary Spa fragrance. So whilst this scrub contains coconut oil, I’m happy to report that it doesn’t smell of coconut at all.

What else? Of course, this type of products leaves the shower or bath slippery, so please be super careful and get your partner, child, house-mate, etc to clean the shower or bath tub. 😁 Hey, this is a spa treatment. You’re not supposed to clean your own bathroom right after!

If you’re interested, Sanctuary Spa Salt Scrub is available as 650g for £14.

Nivea Indulgent Moisture Cashmere Shower Cream With Cashmere Extract And Orchid Scent, Nivea Love Adventure Caring Shower Gel With Aloe Vera

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 Nivea shower gels which I picked up before the November lockdown – Nivea Indulgent Moisture Cashmere Shower Cream With Cashmere Extract And Orchid Scent and Nivea Love Adventure Caring Shower Gel With Aloe Vera.

Nivea Indulgent Moisture Cashmere Shower Cream With Cashmere Extract And Orchid Scent has a nice non-drying formula. But I don’t care for the fragrance. It doesn’t smell very natural. I’d describe the fragrance as a mix of flowers and plastic. I think this one might end up as a hand soap…

Nivea Love Adventure Caring Shower Gel With Aloe Vera is refreshing, no doubt. I do like the fragrance, although I think it’s rather masculine. My husband is enjoying this shower gel too. I think he’ll probably use it more often than I will.

If you’re interested, Nivea Indulgent Moisture Cashmere Shower Cream With Cashmere Extract And Orchid Scent and Nivea Love Adventure Caring Shower Gel With Aloe Vera are available as 250ml each. I paid £1 each.

Treacle Moon The Raspberry Kiss

Hi there! Today I’m reviewing this Treacle Moon The Raspberry Kiss Shower & Bath Gel.

I’ve had several products from this brand – some I loved, some I liked, and some I didn’t care for.

But I generally like raspberry in body products and fragrances, so I was more than happy to pick up this shower gel.

I’ve now given this shower gel a try, and I think it’s good but not great. I’m happy to report that the formula is gentle on dry skin.

But the fragrance is not worth raving about. It’s a nice and fruity scent. It’s not sickly-sweet. It’s actually on the fresher side, so definitely suitable for grown-ups, but I doubt this is anyone’s favourite shower gel. I’m happy to continue using it, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

Treacle Moon‘s The Raspberry Kiss Shower & Bath Gel is available as 500ml for £3 (Treacle Moon web site, Tesco, Waitrose). I paid £1.50 (special offer).

Radox “Perky Peach” Peach & Berry Scent Shower Gel, Radox “Mint To Be” Lime & Peppermint Scent Shower Gel

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 shower gels which I started to use in February – Radox “Perky Peach” Peach & Berry Scent Shower Gel and Radox “Mint To Be” Lime & Peppermint Scent Shower Gel. These are big 400ml bottles, and they were on special – for £1.30 each (give or take a few pence). So I bought them! But are they any good?

Radox “Perky Peach” Peach & Berry Scent Shower Gel is very nice! This shower gel makes my skin feel super clean, but it’s not drying! Great stuff! The scent is lovely too – it’s peachy, fruity, sunny and happy. This shower gel is perfect to start the day with. My husband gave this shower gel a try, and he likes it too!

Radox “Mint To Be” Lime & Peppermint Scent Shower Gel was an accidental purchase. When I decided to buy it, I didn’t realise it was meant to be minty. I just saw the limes, and I thought it would be fresh and citrusy. So when I got home and inspected the bottle more closely, I was disappointed. But when I tried the shower gel, I actually liked it! The formula is great, it doesn’t tingle (Phew!), and the fragrance is a refreshing mix of lime and mint. This shower gel is definitely unisex – my husband is enjoying this one very much too!

Based on my experience, I’d recommend these shower gels. If you’re interested, Radox “Perky Peach” Peach & Berry Scent Shower Gel and Radox “Mint To Be” Lime & Peppermint Scent Shower Gel are available as 400ml. The normal price is around £2.49, but these were about half price when I bought them, and I’ve also seen them on a BOGOF deal since.

Westlab Pink Gin Epsom & Himalayan Bathing Salts With Juniperberry, Pomegranate & Lime

Hi there! Today’s post is about these Westlab Pink Gin Epsom & Himalayan Bathing Salts With Juniperberry, Pomegranate & Lime which I found for half price at my local Tesco. You’re supposed to use 2-3 handfuls of these bath salts for a cleansing and revitalising bath.

I tried these bath salts recently, and I love them! I don’t drink alcohol, so I have no idea what pink gin is supposed to taste or smell like, but these bath salts have a strong and crisp pink lime fragrance which smells like summer. Delicious! These bath salts are a bit drying – not worse than a normal shower gel though, so I mix them with a good handful of Westlab’s Himalayan bath salts which are amazing for the skin.

Based on my experience, I’d recommend these bath salts. Unfortunately, they’re a limited edition, but I’ll pick up another pack soon. If you’re interested, Westlab Pink Gin Epsom & Himalayan Bathing Salts With Juniperberry, Pomegranate & Lime are available as 1kg for £5.99. I paid £2.99.

Westlab Mindful Epsom & Himalayan Salts With Frankincense & Bergamot

Hi there! Today’s post is about these Westlab Mindful Epsom & Himalayan Salts With Frankincense & Bergamot. These bath salts promise to “restore calm and serenity amidst modern life”. You’re supposed to use 2-3 handfuls of these salts for a nice, relaxing bath.

I think these bath salts are good, but they’re not my favourites. I like the mix of epsom and Himalayan salts, and I’m happy that these bath salts have their own scent. However, the scent is quite strong, and it will linger in the bathroom for hours. I’m fine with the scent, but not everyone loves incense and bergamot. I also found these bath salts to be a bit drying.

In order to be able to enjoy these bath salts more, I’ll now mix these (half and half) with my regular Westlab Himalayan Salts which make my skin feel amazing. If you’re interested, Westlab Mindful Epsom & Himalayan Salts With Frankincense & Bergamot are available as 1kg for about £6. I paid £2.99 (half price offer at Boots).
