L’Oréal Elvive Hydra Hyaluronic Moisture Boosting Shampoo & Moisture Locking Conditioner

Hi there! Today’s post is about the hair care combo I’m using at the moment – L’Oréal Elvive Hydra Hyaluronic Moisture Boosting Shampoo & Moisture Locking Conditioner. These products are aimed at people with dehydrated hair. My hair isn’t dehydrated, and I wash my hair every morning, so I can’t comment on the “up to 72h moisture” claim. But I can comment on how these products work for me.

Let’s start with the shampoo! I think it’s really nice. It’s a creamy white shampoo, but the formula feels a bit lighter when I compare it with other L’Oréal shampoos. I think it cleanses my hair gently, and I also like the fresh and floral scent.

Onto to the conditioner which is just as lovely. I’m impressed with how quickly and easily this conditioner detangles my hair. It’s really good! I also like how soft and silky it makes my hair feel without weighing it down.

I’m very happy with these hair products. Based on my experience, I’d recommend them, and I will buy them again, no doubt. If you’re interested, L’Oréal Elvive Hydra Hyaluronic Moisture Boosting Shampoo & Moisture Locking Conditioner are available as 400ml each for about £6. I paid £2.99 each (half price offer). I just checked the prices on Boots’ and Superdrug’s websites, and Boots is actually running a half price promotion, and Superdrug has a 2 for £6 deal (no idea when these offers expire though).

L’Oréal Elvive Full Restore 5 Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi there! Today’s post is about a hair care combo I’m using at the moment – L’Oréal Elvive Full Restore 5 Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner. These products promise to reinforce and to revitalise weak and damaged hair.

L’Oréal Elvive Full Restore 5 Repairing Shampoo is a creamy white shampoo. It’s gentle, and I’m satisfied that it cleanses my hair properly. It has a pleasant fragrance (a typical L’Oréal fragrance), and I have no complaints really. I think this is a good shampoo.

L’Oréal Elvive Full Restore 5 Repairing Conditioner detangles my hair reasonably well. In terms of detangling, I’ve had better conditioners but I think this one’s still nice. I’m not sure if it “reinforces” my hair, but I’m happy to report that it doesn’t flatten my hair.

All in all, I think L’Oréal did a good job with these products. They’re serving me well. If you’re interested, L’Oréal Elvive Full Restore 5 Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner are available as 400ml each for about £4.99 each. I bought these for half price (special offer, Tesco).

L’Oréal Elvive Fibrology Air Volumising Thickening Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi there! Today’s post is about L’Oréal‘s Elvive Fibrology Air Volumising Thickening Shampoo & Conditioner. These products are aimed at people with fine and flat hair, and they promise visibly thicker looking hair. I’ve been using these products on and off since mid June, so here’s what I think.

L’Oréal Elvive Fibrology Air Volumising Thickening Shampoo is really nice. It’s clarifying, it feels great on my head, and it smells wonderfully fresh and pure. This is a great shampoo!

L’Oréal Elvive Fibrology Air Volumising Thickening Shampoo is not a great product. I call it “the mop maker” because it’s anti-conditioning. It turns my hair into a knotty mess and it makes my hair feel dry and mop-like (but not thicker). The only thing that helps is using a small amount of Herbal Essences conditioner right after this conditioner is rinsed out. By the way, the conditioner doesn’t smell great. I’d say it smells like the bathroom cleaner version of the shampoo…

Based on my experience, I would recommend the shampoo, but I wouldn’t recommend the conditioner. However, if you’re interested, L’Oréal‘s Elvive Fibrology Air Volumising Thickening Shampoo & Conditioner are available as 400ml each for £4.99 each. I bought these products when they were half price at one of the drugstores. 😉

Reducing My Oldies Stash – L’Oréal Elvive Full Restore 5 Extreme Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi there! I’ve got a hair care post for you today! A little while ago I found L’Oréal’s Elvive Full Restore 5 Extreme Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner at my local Tesco.  I had never seen this hair care combo before, so I just bought it. And now I’ve finally gotten around to try these products, so let me tell you if they’re any good. 🙂

L’Oréal’s Elvive Full Restore 5 Extreme Repairing Shampoo for very damaged and dry hair is very nice. It feels gentle, and I do believe that it has hair repairing powers. This shampoo feels great on my head, and it makes my hair feel super soft.

L’Oréal’s Elvive Full Restore 5 Extreme Repairing Conditioner is just as nice. This conditioner is one of the best L’Oréal conditioners. It detangles my hair with ease, and I swear I can feel that this conditioner repairs my hair. It’s really good! Well done, L’Oréal!

L’Oréal’s Elvive Full Restore 5 Extreme Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner are available as 400ml each for about £4.50 each at Tesco’s (I’ve never seen them anywhere else). I bought these 2 hair care products on a BOGOF deal. 🙂

L’Oréal Elvive Colour Protect Caring Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi there! As I’m using different shampoos and conditioners all the time, I sometimes forget old favourites – like L’Oréal’s Elvive Colour Protect Shampoo and Conditioner. However, I’ve now bought these two products again – and I remembered why I always loved them so much.

The shampoo is great. It smells pleasant and it cleanses my hair and my scalp nicely. The conditioner is one of the best I’ve ever used – second only to Herbal Essences’ Classics conditioners. What I love about the conditioner is that it detangles my hair nicely and that it doesn’t weigh my hair down – just the way I like it. 🙂

I also noticed that these two products really help maintain the intensity of my hair colour after I’ve dyed my hair. Normally the colour bleeds quite a bit for a few washes after I’ve dyed my hair – but these two products made a huge difference! Well done, L’Oréal!

I would definitely recommend L’Oréal’s Elvive Colour Protect Shampoo and Conditioner to anyone with coloured hair. If you want to hold on to your hair colour for as long as possible, you really should try these two products!

The shampoo and the conditioner are available as 250ml for £2.99 and 400ml for £3.99. This is really good value. However, there’s usually at least one supermarket or drugstore chain that runs a half price or BOGOF promotion on the big bottles. So keep your eyes peeled for the best offer! 🙂

L’Oréal Elvive Triple Resist Reinforcing Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi there! I just started to use L’Oréal’s Triple Resist Reinforcing Shampoo & Conditioner again. I haven’t had these ones in ages – because whenever there’s a half price or BOGOF offer, one of the two products is always out of stock. But I was lucky the other day – so I bought a few L’Oréal shampoos and conditioners for half price.
L'Oreal Triple Resist
Now let’s get to these products. The reinforcing shampoo is one of my favourites. It cleanses my scalp and my hair without irritating my skin. I love the shampoo and I’ll buy it again. The conditioner is quite good too. I remember it being thinner and easier to use. But it’s still a very decent product that conditions and detangles my hair well.

I think this shampoo and conditioner combo really helps with certain hair loss issues. It won’t sort out hair loss caused by medical conditions or hormones and the likes. But whenever I use these two products, I notice a huge difference in how much hair I’m losing – from day one. I don’t know how L’Oréal did it, but they’ve done a great job with these products.

I would definitely recommend this shampoo/conditioner combo – regardless of whether your hair needs strengthening or not. L’Oréal’s Triple Resist Reinforcing Shampoo & Conditioner are available as 250ml for £2.99 each, and 400ml for £3.99 each.

L’Oréal Elvive Fibrology Thickening Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi there! I think I’ve used most Elvive shampoos and conditioners over the past years, but I couldn’t remember if I ever had these ones. As they were on special (Half price – what else?), I bought them.

At first let me say that I found the L’Oréal Fibrology Thickening Shampoo to be a huge surprise. In terms of quality it’s like most L’Oréal shampoos – it’s quite good and it smells nice – but it’s quite unique because once it touches wet hair, it feels like it’s expanding… like builder’s foam! 😀

However, this is also a bit of an issue for me because I’ve got long and curly hair. Due to the way the shampoo expands, it’s not so great for thick or curly hair. My hair is a bit of a knotty mess once the shampoo is rinsed out – no matter how careful I am.
loreal-fibrology
The L’Oréal Fibrology Thickening Conditioner
isn’t good enough to deal with the knotty mess because it’s quite thick, so I have to double-condition or use a different conditioner after using the Fibrology shampoo. This also defeats the purpose of this shampoo and conditioner combo. However, when I use the conditioner after a regular shampoo – which doesn’t expand like crazy on my head – it’s absolutely fine.

Would I buy these products again? Maybe. But I definitely wouldn’t use them together again. Saying this, I can see that these two products would work really well together on hair that is not long, thick and curly, so if you’ve got fine or straight hair, you might love these products. L’Oréal Fibrology Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner are available as 250 ml for £2.99 each and 400 ml for £3.99 each.

L’Oréal Elvive Nutri Gloss Luminiser Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi there! Today’s post is about the fairly new L’Oréal Elvive Nutri Gloss Luminiser shampoo and conditioner. These two products promise to make dull hair extra shiny.

I find L’Oréal quite good for hair care in general, but I’m a bit on the fence about the Luminiser products. In terms of shine, I don’t think that this shampoo and conditioner combo is better than other random hair care products.
L'Oreal Nutri Gloss Luminiser
I also found that the Luminizer products make my hair go greasy rather quickly, so I wouldn’t recommend them if you’ve got oily hair.

Saying this, I think that the Luminiser shampoo and conditioner make my hair incredibly soft and silky. Because of this I would recommend these products to people with dry hair. Another plus is the fresh and clean fragrance – it’s pleasant and subtle.

L’Oréal Elvive Nutri Gloss Luminiser shampoo and conditioner are available as 250ml for about £3 each and 400ml for about £4 each. But there’s always a half price or buy one get one free offer somewhere. 😉

L’Oréal Elvive Damage Care Repair Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi there! I just rediscovered an old favourite shampoo and conditioner combo: L’Oréal Elvive Damage Care. I’m not sure why I haven’t bought these products in ages, but the last time there was a half price offer on L’Oréal products, I had to have them.

The shampoo is powerful, yet gentle, and it feels great on my head every time I use it. I can’t comment on its hair repairing qualities since my hair is neither damaged nor brittle, but my hair feels incredibly soft and healthy. I’m certainly not complaining. 🙂 Another plus is the lovely scent- it’s feminine, fresh and fruity.
L'Oreal Damage Care 2
The conditioner is one of the better ones in terms of detangling hair. I never need much product, so it’s quite efficient. My hair is very long and curly, but I think I’ ll get 30 washes out of one 400ml bottle. Not bad at all!

While there are shampoo and conditioner combos which I love more than this one, I know I’ll definitely return to these two soon.

L’Oréal Elvive Damage Care shampoo and conditioner are available as 250ml for £3 and 400ml for £4 each.  But there’s always a half price or buy one get one free offer somewhere.
