100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse Turmeric & Matcha Glow Clay

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Montagne Jeunesse Turmeric & Matcha Glow Clay face mask.

According to Montagne Jeunesse, this face mask is “the perfect blend to help cleanse and purify” the skin. This sounded promising, so I gave this mask a try.

This is a regular clay mask. Cleanse your skin first, then apply the mask to your face. Let it dry for about 15 minutes, then rinse it off – and that’s already it.

The first thing I noticed about this mask was its pleasant scent – a fresh, botanical fragrance that, I think, fits the theme well.

I was very happy with the mask’s cleansing powers – the mask made my face look clear and refreshed.

I really enjoyed this mask, and I would like to buy it again. It’s definitely one of the nicest masks I’ve had over the past few months, and I would recommend it.

Montagne Jeunesse Turmeric & Matcha Glow Clay face mask is available as a 15g single-use face mask for 90p (Primark). On another note, this face mask is certified cruelty-free. It carries THE Leaping Bunny logo! 😍

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse 7th Heaven Argan Oil Mud

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Montagne Jeunesse 7th Heaven Argan Oil Mud mask. This face mask promises to cleanse skin deeply and to improve skin texture.

Before you use the mask, make sure that you cleanse your skin. Then simply apply the mask, leave it on until dry (about 15-20 minutes), then wash it off.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s actually quite good. I found the mask cleansing, and I noticed that it made my skin feel very soft. However, I found the strong argan oil scent hard to bear, and because of this, I won’t be buying this face mask again.

If you want a cleansing mask and don’t mind a strong argan oil fragrance, I’d recommend this mask!

Montagne Jeunesse 7th Heaven Argan Oil Mud mask is available as a single-use 15g face mask for £1. This face mask is also certified cruelty-free as it carries the Leaping Bunny logo.

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse Simply The Zest

Hi there! Today’s post is about Montagne Jeunesse Simply The Zest. This clay mask with lavender and lemon promises to calm, detox and pamper skin.

You’re supposed to apply the mask to cleansed skin, leave it on for 15-20 minutes (until it’s dry), then rinse it off.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s quite good. I found this mask to be cleansing but also a little drying. Having said this, my husband (who has oily skin) loved the short-lived post-mask dryness.

Montagne Jeunesse Simply The Zest face mask is available as a 15g single-use face mask (although 15g is enough for 2 people) for 90p at Primark. This face mask is certified cruelty-free – it carries the Leaping Bunny logo!

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse Face Food Blackcurrant & Blueberry Peel-Off Masque AND Lime & Lemon Purifying Masque

Hi there! Today’s post is about this face mask duo that I found at my local Savers drugstore – Montagne Jeunesse Face Food Blackcurrant & Blueberry Peel-Off Masque AND Lime & Lemon Purifying Masque. I think this face mask duo was 69p! A total steal! I’ve now given these masks a try, and here’s what I think…

Montagne Jeunesse Face Food Blackcurrant & Blueberry Peel-Off Masque promises to peel away impurities and dead skin cells with the help of antioxidant-rich blackcurrant and blueberry. I think this is a good face mask. It did make my skin softer, so I have no doubt that it removed dead skin cells.

Montagne Jeunesse Face Food Lime & Lemon Purifying Masque is a clay mask which promises to gives skin a deep and refreshing cleanse. Whilst I didn’t care for the bathroom cleanser fragrance, the mask did what it promised to do. It’s definitely worth a try if you have problem skin.

Montagne Jeunesse Face Food Blackcurrant & Blueberry Peel-Off Masque AND Lime & Lemon Purifying Masque is available as a face mask duo. I’ve also seen (and purchased) other varieties, so if you’re interested in trying out new face masks, you should swing by your local Savers drugstore.

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse 7th Heaven Dead Sea Mud Pac

Hi there! Today’s post is about Montagne Jeunesse’s 7th Heaven Dead Sea Mud Pac with Dead Sea salt, sea kelp and lavender.

This face mask promises to draw out impurities and to open blocked pores for clear and soft skin.

I’ve tried this mask for the first time now, and I think I’m somehow familiar with it.

The mint green colour of the mask reminded me of 2 mud masks I reviewed (and liked) not too long ago. And the marine fragrance reminded me of 2 peel-off masks which I reviewed (and didn’t like) a little while ago.

However, this mask was still new to me. So… is this mask any good? Well, I didn’t love the marine fragrance (it’s too much ‘pond’ and ‘algae’), but I think this mask gave my skin a deep cleanse.

I also thought that this mask made my pores look smaller, so all in all I think this is a reasonable face mask that I would recommend to those who want an effective mud mask and who wouldn’t mind the strong marine fragrance. 🙂

Montagne Jeunesse’s 7th Heaven Dead Sea Mud Pac is available as a 20g sachet for £1 or as a 175g tube for about £6. This product is certified cruelty-free. It carries the Leaping Bunny logo!

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse Relaxing Spa Mud Mask

Hi there! Today’s super quick post is about Montagne Jeunesse’s Relaxing Spa Mud Mask.

I bought this mask some time this summer, and I’ve finally gotten around to try it. So let me tell you if it’s any good.

First of all, this mask is like every other mud mask. You apply it, you leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes, and then you wash it off.

When I applied the mask, I noticed that it’s not as thick as other masks from the same brand. And I prefer thicker masks.

Why? Well, based on my experience using all sorts of masks, I think that the thicker masks are just more effective. And guess what – this mask wasn’t as great as I had hoped.

Whilst this mask made no difference to my skin at all, I thought the subtle and inoffensive floral fragrance was pleasant. Saying this, a pleasant fragrance doesn’t make up for an ineffective product.

In any event, Montagne Jeunesse’s Relaxing Spa Mud Mask is 100% cruelty-free. It carries the Leaping Bunny logo! This face mask is exclusive to Primark where I bought it for 90p.

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse Super Fruit Mud Face Mask

Montagne Jeunesse Super Fruit MudHi there! Today I’m reviewing Montagne Jeunesse’s Super Fruit Mud.

This face mask promises a nourishing skin cleansing experience.

I enjoyed using this mask. The formula is a bit runnier than most Montagne Jeunesse masks, but it was super easy to empty the sachet.

The mask is light grey in colour, and as it dries on the face it turns into a bright white. Ghost alert! 😀

I don’t think this mask was very nourishing, but it cleansed my pores properly, and it didn’t trouble my skin at all.

If you haven’t tried this face mask yet, I would recommend you give it a try. I will buy this face mask again, no doubt.

Montagne Jeunesse’s Super Fruit Mud is certified cruelty-free. It carries the Leaping Bunny logo. The mask is available for £1. I got mine from Home Bargains.

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse Buttercream Dream Mud Face Mask

upload-1Hi there! Just a few days ago I picked up a few Montagne Jeunesse face masks at Primark. And I tried one of these masks today.

So let me tell you more about this Montagne Jeunesse Buttercream Dream Mud face mask which claims to leave skin feeling refreshed, cleansed and smooth.

When I applied the mask, I noticed that it contained exfoliating beads. And we’re not talking about those nasty ground walnut shells or crushed apricot stones. This mask contains face-friendly exfoliating beads – and they really made my skin feel clean and smooth!

I think this mask is excellent. It even reminds me of my former favourite face mask (it was my favourite before Superdrug ruined it by adding walnut shell powder, a.k.a. juglans regia shell powder).

Now onto the fragrance! Whilst this mask is supposed to be “vanilla & honey” scented, I don’t think it smells particularly sweet or yummy. But the random (and non-descript) sweetish fragrance isn’t annoying, so I’m not complaining.

I would certainly recommend this face mask! It’s 90p at Primark – so it’s rather cheap. In addition, Montagne Jeunesse’s Buttercream Dream Mud face mask is certified cruelty-free. It carries the Leaping Bunny logo and it’s approved by the Vegetarian Society.

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse Glacial Clay Spa

Montagne Jeunesse Glacial Clay SpaHi there! I’ve never used a fabric or sheet mask – even though I’ve wanted to try one for ages.

But now I’ve finally given Montagne Jeunesse’s Glacial Clay Spa a try.

This face mask is a clay-infused fabric mask that’s supposed to be left on the skin for 15 to 20 minutes.

It contains clay, cloudberry juice (?) and red grape extracts – 3 ingredients which promise clean and clear skin.

I found this fabric mask surprisingly easy to use. The mask stayed put and it didn’t give me any trouble at all.

And I really liked its cool feel and its fresh, green fragrance. Very ‘home spa’. Awesome stuff!

After about 20 minutes I took the mask off, and I used it to give my face a good (yet gentle) scrub. The result was clean and clear skin – absolutely brilliant!

I would definitely recommend this fabric mask. It reallt works. I’ll be buying this mask again, and now I want to try Montagne Jeunesse’s other fabric masks too.

If you’re interested, Montagne Jeunesse’s Glacial Clay Spa is available for about £1 (I bought mine at Home Bargains on a 3 for £2 deal). In addition, this mask is suitable for vegetarians and it’s 100% cruelty-free.

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse Amore Rose Ultra Deep Cleansing Masque

Hi there! My quest to reduce my skin care stash led me to Montagne Jeunesse’s Amore Rose Ultra Deep Cleansing Masque. I got this mask as part of a mask duo (Mud Pac + Amore Rose for £1 at Poundland) not too long ago. And now I’ve finally tried it. So let me tell you more. 🙂

Amore Rose is a typical clay mask. You apply it, you let it dry (it takes about 15 to 20 minutes), and then you just wash it off with water. No surprises here. But keep reading!
Montagne Jeunesse Rose Amore
First of all, this face mask smells amazing. You can literally smell the roses whilst the mask dries on your face. Very fancy! And this mask made my skin feel and look much clearer and fresher than usual. I love it! And I’m glad I’ve got a few more Amore Rose masks in my stash. 🙂

Another thing that’s great is that this mask is BUAV-approved (it carries the Leaping Bunny logo), so it’s 100% cruelty-free! So in summary, there’s nothing that could stop me from recommending this face mask. 🙂 Have you tried this face mask? Which face masks would you recommend? Feel free to get in touch. And thanks for stopping by!
