100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse 7th Heaven Dead Sea Mud Pac

Hi there! Today’s post is about Montagne Jeunesse’s 7th Heaven Dead Sea Mud Pac with Dead Sea salt, sea kelp and lavender.

This face mask promises to draw out impurities and to open blocked pores for clear and soft skin.

I’ve tried this mask for the first time now, and I think I’m somehow familiar with it.

The mint green colour of the mask reminded me of 2 mud masks I reviewed (and liked) not too long ago. And the marine fragrance reminded me of 2 peel-off masks which I reviewed (and didn’t like) a little while ago.

However, this mask was still new to me. So… is this mask any good? Well, I didn’t love the marine fragrance (it’s too much ‘pond’ and ‘algae’), but I think this mask gave my skin a deep cleanse.

I also thought that this mask made my pores look smaller, so all in all I think this is a reasonable face mask that I would recommend to those who want an effective mud mask and who wouldn’t mind the strong marine fragrance. 🙂

Montagne Jeunesse’s 7th Heaven Dead Sea Mud Pac is available as a 20g sachet for £1 or as a 175g tube for about £6. This product is certified cruelty-free. It carries the Leaping Bunny logo!

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse Blueberry Blast Mud Masque & Gorgeous Grape Mud

Hi there! If you’re a fan of Montagne Jeunesse, you know that the company does new masks all the time. However, it’s likely that you also know that many of those ‘new’ masks aren’t really new. Montagne Jeunesse recycles old formulas, or they give masks new names.

So when I picked up Montagne Jeunesse’s Blueberry Blast Mud Masque and Gorgeous Grape Mud, I had a hunch that these two masks would be identical. So I compared the ingredients on the back of the sachets. Guess what – the lists of ingredients really were identical! But wait, there’s more!

When I tried those masks, I also found that they were copies of Montagne Jeunesse’s Berrylicious Mud Masque. I’m certainly not complaining because the Berrylicious mask became an instant favourite. So I’m glad to see it was repackaged twice and not discontinued!

So what’s this mask like? This mask is a clay mask. You need to leave it on for about 15 minutes before you rinse it off with water. And once you’ve done that, you’re being rewarded with clearer skin. In a nutshell, this mask really works – and it smells fantastic. Awesome stuff! From now on I’ll make sure to pick up any ‘new’ purplish Montagne Jeunesse mask that I can find!

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse Relaxing Spa Mud Mask

Hi there! Today’s super quick post is about Montagne Jeunesse’s Relaxing Spa Mud Mask.

I bought this mask some time this summer, and I’ve finally gotten around to try it. So let me tell you if it’s any good.

First of all, this mask is like every other mud mask. You apply it, you leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes, and then you wash it off.

When I applied the mask, I noticed that it’s not as thick as other masks from the same brand. And I prefer thicker masks.

Why? Well, based on my experience using all sorts of masks, I think that the thicker masks are just more effective. And guess what – this mask wasn’t as great as I had hoped.

Whilst this mask made no difference to my skin at all, I thought the subtle and inoffensive floral fragrance was pleasant. Saying this, a pleasant fragrance doesn’t make up for an ineffective product.

In any event, Montagne Jeunesse’s Relaxing Spa Mud Mask is 100% cruelty-free. It carries the Leaping Bunny logo! This face mask is exclusive to Primark where I bought it for 90p.

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse Super Fruit Mud Face Mask

Montagne Jeunesse Super Fruit MudHi there! Today I’m reviewing Montagne Jeunesse’s Super Fruit Mud.

This face mask promises a nourishing skin cleansing experience.

I enjoyed using this mask. The formula is a bit runnier than most Montagne Jeunesse masks, but it was super easy to empty the sachet.

The mask is light grey in colour, and as it dries on the face it turns into a bright white. Ghost alert! 😀

I don’t think this mask was very nourishing, but it cleansed my pores properly, and it didn’t trouble my skin at all.

If you haven’t tried this face mask yet, I would recommend you give it a try. I will buy this face mask again, no doubt.

Montagne Jeunesse’s Super Fruit Mud is certified cruelty-free. It carries the Leaping Bunny logo. The mask is available for £1. I got mine from Home Bargains.

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse Buttercream Dream Mud Face Mask

upload-1Hi there! Just a few days ago I picked up a few Montagne Jeunesse face masks at Primark. And I tried one of these masks today.

So let me tell you more about this Montagne Jeunesse Buttercream Dream Mud face mask which claims to leave skin feeling refreshed, cleansed and smooth.

When I applied the mask, I noticed that it contained exfoliating beads. And we’re not talking about those nasty ground walnut shells or crushed apricot stones. This mask contains face-friendly exfoliating beads – and they really made my skin feel clean and smooth!

I think this mask is excellent. It even reminds me of my former favourite face mask (it was my favourite before Superdrug ruined it by adding walnut shell powder, a.k.a. juglans regia shell powder).

Now onto the fragrance! Whilst this mask is supposed to be “vanilla & honey” scented, I don’t think it smells particularly sweet or yummy. But the random (and non-descript) sweetish fragrance isn’t annoying, so I’m not complaining.

I would certainly recommend this face mask! It’s 90p at Primark – so it’s rather cheap. In addition, Montagne Jeunesse’s Buttercream Dream Mud face mask is certified cruelty-free. It carries the Leaping Bunny logo and it’s approved by the Vegetarian Society.

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse Amore Rose Ultra Deep Cleansing Masque

Hi there! My quest to reduce my skin care stash led me to Montagne Jeunesse’s Amore Rose Ultra Deep Cleansing Masque. I got this mask as part of a mask duo (Mud Pac + Amore Rose for £1 at Poundland) not too long ago. And now I’ve finally tried it. So let me tell you more. 🙂

Amore Rose is a typical clay mask. You apply it, you let it dry (it takes about 15 to 20 minutes), and then you just wash it off with water. No surprises here. But keep reading!
Montagne Jeunesse Rose Amore
First of all, this face mask smells amazing. You can literally smell the roses whilst the mask dries on your face. Very fancy! And this mask made my skin feel and look much clearer and fresher than usual. I love it! And I’m glad I’ve got a few more Amore Rose masks in my stash. 🙂

Another thing that’s great is that this mask is BUAV-approved (it carries the Leaping Bunny logo), so it’s 100% cruelty-free! So in summary, there’s nothing that could stop me from recommending this face mask. 🙂 Have you tried this face mask? Which face masks would you recommend? Feel free to get in touch. And thanks for stopping by!

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse Ultra Deep Pore Cleansing Mud Pac

Hi there! Just a few weeks ago I told you that I found several Montagne Jeunesse face mask duos at my local Poundland. I’ve already tried the fantastic Lemon Zest Peel Off Mask. And now I’ve tried another one – Montagne Jeunesse Ultra Deep Pore Cleansing Mud Pac.

This face mask is a typical mud mask. I applied it to my face and let it dry for 20 minutes. And then I just washed it off with water. I was really happy with the result. And if you read on, you’ll find out why. 🙂
Montagne Jeunesse Mud Pac
First of all, this mask made my face feel refreshed and clean. The ‘ultra deep pore cleansing’ claim isn’t just a marketing strategy – this mask really works! Now, two days later, my skin still feels clean and clear.

I think Montagne Jeunesse’s Mud Pac is a fantastic face mask. It’s available as part of a mask duo (the other one’s ‘Amore Rose Ultra Deep Cleansing Mask‘) for £1 (Poundland) – so this mud pac face mask is actually 50p only! And another big plus is that this face mask is approved by BUAV (it carries the Leaping Bunny logo) and by the Vegetarian Society – so it’s cruelty-free and suitable for vegetarians.
