Nail Of The Day – Fearne Lola Lavender & Stamping With Pueen 73

Hi there! I have another Nail Of The Day post for you today. This mani is from last summer, but I hated the photos I took (it was too sunny), so I never bothered to crop and resize them – until now. 🙂

For this mani I painted my nails with Fearne Lola Lavender (2 coats). This is a gorgeous colour. I love it!

I decided to double-stamp. I used my Pueen 73 plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Stamping Buffet collection) and two colour polishes – Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto (black) and Revlon Brilliant Strength 110 Hypnotize (gold).

In theory, this should have been an awesome mani, but it was just about OK.

Nail Of The Day – Color Club Blossoming, Rimmel 60 Seconds 820 Hot Black To Go, NYC 019 Perfect Day & Stamping With Pueen 73 / A-Z Nail Art Challenge W – Whatever I Want

Hi there! Today’s mani is another one I did for the A-Z Nail Art Challenge. This challenge is called “W – Whatever I Want”. It’s my ‘joker’ challenge. 🙂

Onto the mani! I used these nail (art) products:
Color Club Blossoming (base colour pinkies, index fingers, thumbs),
Rimmel 60 Seconds 820 Hot Black To Go (base colour ring fingers, black stamping colour),
NYC In A Minute 019 A Perfect Day (base colour middle fingers),
Sally Hansen Salon Manicure 310 Gilty Pleasure (golden stamping colour),
Pueen 73 stamping plate (from Pueen’s Stamping Buffet collection).

I think this mani looks awesome. I love it! And I’m actually proud of it because I had no idea what to do with my nails, so I just grabbed a few random nail polishes and I started to paint my nails… and all of a sudden my nails looked great. 😀

How do you like this mani? Feel free to let me know via the comments. And thanks for stopping by!

Nail Of The Day – Revlon 902 Craving Coral & Stamping With Pueen 73

Hi there! I think it’s time for another Nail Of The Day post. So here it is!

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon 902 Craving Coral. I don’t love the colour, but I bought the polish (years ago), so I have to use it every now and then. And that’s what I’m doing! 🙂

I used Essence’s White Stampy Polish to stamp a remotely floral (?) image onto my nails. Said image is featured on Pueen’s 73 plate (which is part of Pueen’s Stamping Buffet collection).

I didn’t love this mani. The images are far from perfect. This was 100% my fault because I was in a hurry. But in real life the mani didn’t look too bad. 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Manhattan Lotus Effect 67N & Stamping With Pueen 73 / Nail Art Challenge #6 Violet Nails

uploadHi there! Today’s post is about another mani that counts towards the 31 Days Nail Art Challenge. The mani I’ve done is my attempt at challenge #6 Violet Nails.

I painted my nails with Manhattan Lotus Effect 67N. I like the purple colour. It’s not too dark, not too light, not too flashy… it’s just a great purple!

I didn’t want to do a glitter mani, and I didn’t feel like using nail stickers or decals. So I ended up stamping! Again! 😀

So… I used Pueen’s 73 plate (from Pueen‘s Stamping Buffet collection) and Essence‘s fantastic white Stampy Polish to stamp floral images onto my nails.

This mani turned out alright, I think. Sure, it’s not perfect. But keep in mind that, in real life, no one looks at my nails with a magnifying glass – so in real life the imperfections are hardly visible.

Any thoughts? Feel free to comment if you want to. And thanks for reading! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel Lycra Pro 330 Red Obsession & Stamping With Pueen 73

062016 Rimmel Red Obsession Revlon Hypnotize Pueen 73Hi there! I’ve got another mani for you today. If you think it looks a little christmassey, I agree. I didn’t aim for a christmassey look, but I guess that’s what you get when you combine red and gold. 🙂

I painted my nails with Rimmel Lycra Pro 330 Red Obsession (two coats). The red turned out darker than expected, so I didn’t want to stamp with black polish.

I was going through my ‘regular polishes that stamp well’ stash and I picked Revlon Brilliant Strength 110 Hypnotize (which I picked up at Poundworld!).

I chose Pueen’s 73 plate (from Pueen’s Stamping Buffet) and then I started to stamp. 🙂

If I ignore the christmassey feel of the mani, I’m happy with how it turned out. The red Rimmel polish looks lovely and the Revlon polish stamps perfectly. Well done, Revlon. More polishes like this one, please!

Feel free to let me know what you think. And thanks for reading!

Nail Of The Day – Astor Fashion Studio 201 & Stamping with Pueen 73

Astor 201 PLUS Pueen 73Hi there! I tried another new Astor nail polish the other day. I couldn’t warm up to the colour at all, so I decided to do what I did the last time I didn’t like my mani – I spruced it up with a floral pattern.

But let’s start from the beginning. I’m wearing two coats of Astor Fashion Studio 201, a dusty pink which doesn’t suit my skin tone at all. It was 50p only, so it wasn’t much of a financial loss. 🙂

This time I chose another floral stamping plate, Pueen 73 from Pueen’s Stamping Buffet collection. In case you’re wondering, the black polish is Revlon Colorstay.

I’m really enjoying stamping again. I’ve got a lot of stamping plates, so be prepared for more nail posts in the future. 🙂
