Nail Of The Day – Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 702 Marshmallow Heaven & Ciaté Snow Globe (Nail Fail)

Hi there! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 702 Marshmallow Heaven (2 coat). This is a great polish. I just love the colour and the formula.

The top coat I used is Ciaté Snow Globe. I had high expectations for this top coat, but it turned out to be a disappointment. It’s on the goopy side, there aren’t many flakies in this top coat, and those few that make it onto the nails are VERY stand-offish, so they get caught in everything.

I didn’t care for this mani at all… Onto the next one!

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 702 Marshmallow Heaven & Stamping With MoYou London Illusion 09

Hi there! Here’s a short Nail Of The Day post. 🙂

For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 702 Marshmallow Heaven (2 easy coats).

I love this colour. Milky purple shades like this one are my favourite nail colours!

I wanted to use my new MoYou London Illusion 09 stamping plate again. And that’s exactly what I did. 🙂

The black polish I stamped with is Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto.

This is another mani I liked the look of. It’s not the most creative mani. But I think  that, thanks to the images, it still looks pretty cool.

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 702 Marshmallow Heaven & Essence Glamaxy Far Far Away

Hi there! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 702 Marshmallow Heaven (2 easy coats).

I love these milky purple shades. Of all the nail colours (and finishes) out there, “milky purple” is my favourite nail colour.

I also used one one of my favourite top coats, Essence Glamaxy Far Far Away (1 coat). This is a gorgeous rainbow flakie top coat. It doesn’t photograph well, but you can catch a glimpse of its incredible colour-shifting beauty in this photo.

I really liked this mani. It was a simple mani, it was super easy to do, but it was very eye-catching!

Do you like purple nails? Do you glitter flakie top coats? Feel free to get in touch via the comments. And thanks for stopping by! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 702 Marshmallow Heaven, Astor Perfect Stay Velvet Effect 610 Sensual Candle & Stamping With Pueen 81

Hi there! I have a Nail Of The Day post for you today!

For this mani I painted my nails with Astor Perfect Stay Smooth Velvet Effect 610 Sensual Candle (2 coats, pinkies, index fingers, thumbs) and Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 702 Marshmallow Heaven (2 coats, ring and middle fingers).

The Astor polish is truly unique. It doesn’t really feel like velvet, but it feels sensationally smooth.

I used Pueen‘s 81 plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Buffet Leisure collection). I tend to ignore stamping plates with funny shapes, but I’m glad I gave this one a try. I like the image! Oh, and I stamped with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri 370 Uptempo Plum. 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Halloween Nail Art Ideas / Revlon Brilliant Strength 190 Entice, Essence Colour Boost 05 Instant Summer, Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 702 Marshmallow Heaven & Water Decals

Hi there! 2 weeks ago I told you that I’d be doing a couple of Halloween Nail Art Ideas posts this month. So today I’m showing you another Halloween-themed mani that I did recently. 🙂

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon Brilliant Strength 190 Entice. This is a great quality polish. Great formula, great brush (flat, wide). Good job, Revlon!

I used a small piece of a cosmetic sponge to apply yellow (Essence Colour Boost 05 Instant Summer) and purple (Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 702 Marshmallow Heaven) splashes of colour.

But the best things about this mani are the water decals (which I bought last year).

I think this mani looks really cute! It’s clearly Halloween-themed, but it’s not orange, it’s not gory, there aren’t any pumpkins or witches… I think this kind of mani would be perfect for everyone who wants to do a Halloween-themed mani that doesn’t look too standard, but that’s still easy to do.

How do you like this mani? Feel free to let me know. And thanks for reading!

Beauty Haul! 20+ New Products – Olay, Ekél, Scinic, Daily Defense, Sukin, Balance, Rimmel, Primark, Sinful Colors, Orly & Max Factor

Hi there! Today’s post is about the beauty, skin care & toiletries I bought in August. Well, this is most of what I bought. There were a few purchases in between, but these were 1 or 2 items only each time, and I already stashed those products away…

Anyway, before I tell you what I bought, I’d like to remind you that I’m still doing 3 out / 1 in which means that I can buy 1 item (make-up, skin care, shower stuff, etc.) for every 3 items that I finish. I’m committed to the 3 out / 1 in policy. However, this time I had to ‘borrow’ from future empties. The offers were just too good! OK, now onto the goodies!

Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting UV Cream – finally, it is mine! This is an import from the US. Olay doesn’t sell this moisturiser in the UK. I’ve read great things about it, and I didn’t have to think twice when I found it for £12.99.

Ekél Natural Clean Peeling Gel Apple & Rice Bran – I bought the Grape version of this Peeling Gel a few weeks ago – and I fell in love with it. So I bought the apple and rice bran versions as well. They were £4.99 each.

Scinic Aqua All In One Ampoule – I’m only 50% sure of what this product is supposed to do. Yeah, I know what ‘all in one’ means, but still… anyway, the reason I bought this was because it just looked so cool. I’ll try to review this one asap. I paid £9.99.

Sukin Facial Recovery Serum – I bought this serum because it was £4.99 only. It’s usually just under £14, so this one was a total bargain.

Balance Active Formula Instant Effect Wrinkle Filler & Dragon’s Blood Eye Lift Balm – I’ve never heard of this brand, but the wrinkle filler was £2.99, and the eye lift serum was £1.99. I can’t wait to test these products!

Daily Defense Argan Oil 3-Minute Leave-In Treatment – So far I’ve been impressed with Daily Defense’s hair products. And that’s why I bought this deep conditioner. It was £1.99 only!

More Daily Defense! I bought the Daily Defense Macadamia Oil Shampoo & Conditioner combo and a massive 946ml Argan Oil Body Wash (which will probably take me a year to finish). These 3 products were 99p each!

I also bought 2 more Max Factor Pan Stiks. The shade 12 True Beige is the perfect shade for me, but I only use it as my winter foundation because it’s not easy to find anymore. The Pan Stiks were 2 for £5.99. I also bought 2 clear Orly polishes for 99p each. And I bought another Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 702 Marshmallow nail polish for 75p. I already have one bottle of this polish, but love these bubblegum purple nail colours so much!

I went to Primark and Poundland again. I picked up 2 cheap white polishes (Primark own brand, 60p each), and 5 Sinful Colors nail polishes (Poundland, £1 each).

This is (most of) the stuff I bought in August. I didn’t need any of these products, but I was lured in again… Have you tried any of these products? If so, how did / do you like them? Or would you like to try any of these products? Feel free to comment. And thanks for stopping by! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish & Stamping With Pueen 76 / Nail Art Challenge #15 Delicate Print

Rimmel Marshmallow Heaven Pueen 76Hi there! I’m continuing my lifetime 31 Days Nail Art Challenge. Today’s nail of the day is my attempt at a Delicate Print mani which is #15 on the list.

For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 702 Marshmallow Heaven.

I love this shade (one of my favourites), and I love the formula of this polish (it’s fun to paint with). But what I don’t love is that Rimmel’s I ♥ Lasting Finish (I♥LF) polishes don’t last very long.

I don’t mind painting my nails every 2 to 3 days (I get bored of manis quickly), but I’m not happy when my polish starts to chip on day 1 which happens all the time with Rimmel’s I♥LF polishes.

Anyway, back to the mani! The actual delicate print image is from Pueen’s 76 plate (which is part of Pueen’s Buffet Leisure collection). The black polish I stamped with is the wonderful Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto.

Feel free to let me know what you think. And thanks for stopping by! 🙂
