Nail Of The Day – Beauty UK White & Stamping With Harunouta L079

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani from last week.

For this mani I painted my nails with Beauty UK White – one the best white polishes I’ve ever used. Two coats are enough for perfect coverage. I finished this nail polish now, and I’m sad that I can’t replace it.

For the images I used my Harunouta  L079 stamping plate.

The red polish I stamped with is Rimmel Lycra Pro 327 Heart On Fire.

I really like how this mani turned out. I think this would be a great Halloween look. However, I think I’ll do my “usual” mani (bats and blood on a white background) for Halloween.

Nail Of The Day – Beauty UK 73 Blue Moon & Stamping With Nicole Diary 076

Hi there! I’ve got a short Nail Of The Day post for you.

For this many I painted my nails with Beauty UK 73 Blue Moon (2 coats). This is an amazing polish. The colour is pretty and the formula is easy to work with and quick-drying. 😻

For the images I used my Nicole Diary 076 stamping plate. And I double-stamped. I used a black Rimmel polish as well as Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure 819 Coat Of Arms (gold).

I liked this mani a lot. I know I’ve done similar manis before, but I can’t get enough of this stamping plate, so I’ll do similar manis in the future.

Nail Of The Day – Beauty UK 76 Jade & Stamping With Pict You Stamping Plates

Hi there! I have a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with Beauty UK 76 Jade (2 coats). This is a great polish in every way. I wish Beauty UK products were still available at Superdrug – I miss their nail polish sets!

Back to this mani… I used 2 of my new stamping plates – Pict You PY-J028 and Pict You PY-J034.

As you can see, I double-stamped. I used a random black Rimmel nail polish (it already got lost in my stash, so I can’t tell you which one it was) and Revlon Nail Art Expressionist 330 Silhouette.

Nail Of The Day – Primark PS Nail Polish Marshmallow & Stamping With MoYou London Festive 53

Hi there! I hope everyone had a good weekend! This week is going to be Nail Week. Yes, that means I’ll post about manis only. And today’s post is about a mani I did a few weeks ago. I’ve done a very similar mani for Halloween 2017, so you could say I’m recycling my own ideas. 😀

For this mani I painted my nails with Primark PS Nail Polish Marshmallow (2 coats). This is a great white polish. I’m glad I stocked up because I haven’t seen this polish in quite some time.

I used an unnamed tomato red Beauty UK polish and a small piece of a make-up sponge to apply the “blood”. For the bat images I used MoYou London‘s Festive 53 plate (big bats), an unbranded stamping plate (small bats) and my home-made “stamping” polish.

I likd this mani. But I think I should have chosen a more vibrant red polish for the blood effect.

Nail Of The Day – Beauty UK Purple & Foils

Hi there! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with a purple Beauty UK polish (2 coats) that came in a nail polish gift set. I think this purple polish is fantastic (formula, brush, application, opacity, drying time) – but it’s too bad it doesn’t have a name!

Initially I wanted to stamp. However, I decided to do a foil mani.

I used a random gold foil and some leftover fuchsia foil to make my mani stand out – and it worked!

I got lots of compliments – one of my co-workers said she loved the drama in this mani! Pretty cool, eh? 🙂

Yes, I was really happy with this mani! How do you like it? Feel free to comment. And thanks for stopping by!

Nail Of The Day – Beauty UK Cafe Culture & Stamping With Pueen 63

Hi there! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with Beauty UK Café Culture (2 coats). This polish is much older than I care to admit. However, it’s still in great condition!

Since I don’t like this kind of nail colour, I knew I had to stamp. 🙂

So I chose Pueen‘s 63 plate (which is part of Pueen’s Stamping Buffet collection), and I stamped with Rimmel 60 Seconds 820 Hot Black To Go.

This mani looked much better than I expected – and I got lots of compliments from my co-workers which was great.

How do you like this mani? Feel free to comment. And thanks for stopping by!

Nail Of The Day – Underwater Mani – Featuring Rimmel, Essence, Astor, Beauty UK & Sugar Bubbles

Sugar BubblesHi there! I loved my last underwater mani so much that I did another one.

This time I thought I’d use my newest glitter polish – which reminded me very much of mermaids – and my Sugar Bubbles SB 031 stamping plate.

I used these polishes:
Rimmel 60 Seconds 844 Out Of The Blue (base colour, pinky).
Beauty UK White (base colour, ring and middle fingers).
Astor Lacque Deluxe 880 Forest Green (base colour, index finger and thumb).
Essence Nail Art Stampy Polish in White (stamped image on pinky, index finger, thumb).
Rimmel Love Glitter 034 A Crush On You (glitter topper ring and middle fingers).

So here it is – my underwater mani! I think it turned out great. What do you think?

Nail Of The Day – Christmas Nails

122015 Christmas 333Hi there! I’ve done a few christmassy manis this month, but so far this is my favourite mani.

I was quite impressed with Beauty UK’s White nail polish – which is fully opaque in two coats. So I used it for this mani as well.

The cute topper I used is Barry M’s Christmas Tree – a limited edition from last year. This topper is packed with green micro, bar and hex glitter, red glitter flakes, golden holo hex glitter and silver holo stars.

As the glitter felt very rough, I applied a thick layer of top coat. Result? Problem solved!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Christmas Nails

Christmas maniHi there! Christmas is just a few days away, so I’ve done another festive mani the other day. I really liked Astor’s Lacque Deluxe 880 Forest Green when I used it for my last christmas mani.

This time I teamed up the pretty green polish with Beauty UK’s White (2 coats) and a no-name iridescent white shimmer polish (1 one coat) which did a great job a few weeks ago.

I found this tree image on Pueen’s 42 plate (Love Elements set). I thought it’s really perfect for this christmas-themed mani.

The trees are a bit funny. This is because the image was quite small, and I had to improvise. My nails have also grown quite long, and my stamper no longer covers the entire nail… I think I need a bigger stamper!
